The Buhari government has failed to fix or build oil refineries, instead, they have continued importing refined oil despite Buhari claiming that oil subsidies is corruption.

The car registration number and homeowner addresses are not linked to a central database system. In the UK only registered drivers can drive your car. It took the UK government more than 10 years to build GOV.UK which unified multiple departments.

I don't really have the details but I don't trust the Government. Am very sure if the plant just like Benue Cement was not taken over by Dangote, those plants would have been hideouts for criminals. Now the plant is doing well they want to claim it. Why not pull resources to restore the Ajaokuta Steel company.

We are not saying that Kogi or the federal government, will be a better manager of the cement plant, but the lack of due diligence in Dangote procuring the plant is called crony capitalism or state capture.
The consequence is the reason why Dangote has a national monopoly on cement in Nigeria and the cost of Cement is very expensive compared with other African countries.

If the state government is acting this way it is actually indicting itself if no effort was made to ensure it gets its dues for years and can not take Dangote cement to court with those investigations and strong resolutions of KSHA..

Kogi state should appeciate the Dangote cement group too for not makijg Obajana cement another white elephant project like Ajaokuta steel complex project which had lingered since 1984.

This is an indigenous company and Dangote company should take the state govt summons serious now and in the future.

This is what "state capture" looks like Dangote colluded with the government of that time to take control of state assets with compensation. The company Dangote has failed to provide any evidence that it paid for the plant.

You should first ask yourself since Dangote has become a dollar billionaire has Nigeria's economy improved?

We witness "state capture" in South Africa, where President Zuma and the Gupta bother were selling national assets to themselves at rock bottom prices at the expense of the country.

This is why Dangote will be looking forward to a Tinubu or Atiku victory because it will be business as usual.
