The project was cancelled by Buhari in 1984 and restarted in 2008 with a target date of 2011 and we are still working on the project 11 years later. I have higher standards rather than supporting Tinubu and his cohort's political posturing.

Fyi, hippopotamus is one of the most aggressive animals out there and it kills humans more than lions do. If it's not killed, it will definitely kill humans in that location.
You are backward; Nigerians are encroaching on the wildlife habitat and killing the wildlife that could be a tourist attraction like in other countries.

We have a very long way to go as a people.

Facial, eye and fingerprint recognition is very easy to add to the platform, the technology is already on smartphones. The first step is to make the platform acceptable across the country.

8 wasted years leading this nation with no value added as the president. Ths will not repeat itself in 2023. APC is a curse to Nigeria.
Blame Nigeria's useless constitution; in the UK, they were able to remove two useless leaders in less than two years. Nigeria knew that Buhari was hopeless in 2016 yet failed to remove him The next leader will be worst than Buhari.

Borrowing from Morocco ?
Morocco wants Nigeria to commit to a gas pipeline from the Niger Delta to Morocco. This is in Morocco's strategic interest to reduce its dependency on Algeria and become a major conduit into Europe, but it has limited strategic and economic relevance for Nigeria.

1. Nigeria need to integrate its gas for local electricity consumption
2. The lesson of the NORDStream gas pipeline indicate that a gas pipeline limits the option of the suppliers and force dependency on the West and Morocco.
3. It's too expensive.

IfnobeGod20:
Afenifere has already been divided. The next one is further disintegration to units. Tinubu was the same man that divided Afenifere into two for long. We have the main Afenifere and Afenifere Renewal Group. The Afenifere Renewal Group has been loyal to Tinubu for long and he has fully pocketed them in his babariga, now he want to further slip them into units. Until south west obas and who is who rise up, we will have no social group to fight Yoruba cause any more.
See Arewa Consultative Forum, Arewa Elders Forum, Ohaneze, Ijaw Elders Forum. They are all strong pillars working for the progress of their region but our own is divided because of different in ambitions of some people.
Today if ACF, AEF, IEF cough, all politicians stand at ease but not Afenifere or its splitter group. This is uncalled for in a region of intelligentual mobiles from different fields of endeavours. What a shame!
Arewa Consultative Forum and Arewa Elders Forum are both in hands of Buhari/Atiku and any leading Northern leaders.

The question is, why are the leaders of Afenifere in the hands of two 90 years old? This is the ultimate failure in the South West the demography of the leaders in SW does not represent the young generation.

The SW youth must decide who they will support and discarded the social organisation to the dustbin.

No accountability anymore..

So after borrowing trillions and keeping the country in huge debts, you are still owing contractors.

So who will pay for these debts nah..

Or they want the next govt to fail like them abi

I just weak for this country. Thieves everywhere
The corruption under Buhari is shocking. Despite the $40 billion debt to international agencies, the country still manages to owe contractors N11 trillion.

The future of Nigerian children has been bought and sold.

BusinessRe: Dangote Refinery To Cut Ghana’s Fuel Imports And Reduce Pump Price by sulaak(m): 7:30am On Oct 28, 2022
Quintopia:
.
.
By the way, this refinery actually positions Nigeria officially as the most industrialised black nation on Earth, with no competitor.

According to wiki:

''The Dangote Refinery is an oil refinery owned by Aliko Dangote that is under construction in Lekki, Nigeria. When completed, it is expected to have the capacity to process about 650,000 barrels per day of crude oil, making it the largest single-train refinery in the world. The investment is over 25 billion US dollars.

High complexity

The Dangote Oil Refinery will have a Nelson complexity index of 10.5 which means that it will be more complex than most refineries in the United States (average 9.5) or Europe (average 6.5).

(The Nelson complexity index basically increases with the number and capacity of chemical procedures after the distillation, e.g. hydrocracking, NHT, CCR, RFCC, polymerization etc.)

At full production, the facility will process about 650,000 barrels of crude oil daily, transported via pipelines from oil fields in the Niger Delta, where natural gas will also be sourced to supply the fertilizer factory and be used in electrical generation for the refinery complex.

This corresponds with 50,000,000 litres (13,000,000 US gal) of Euro-V quality gasoline and 17,000,000 litres (4,500,000 US gal) of diesel daily, as well as aviation fuel and plastic products.

With a greater capacity than the total output of Nigeria's existing refining infrastructure, the Dangote Refinery will be able to meet the country's entire domestic fuel demand, as well as export refined oil and petroleum products.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dangote_Refinery
Nigeria need more than the Dangote refinery to be industrialised, Onne Oil and Gas Free Zone (OOGFZ) has more industrial infrastructures, and that hasn't materialised in transforming Nigeria into an industrialised country. Government must invest in broadband, rail and electricity.

He gave a smart answer to the question with illustrations on why crimes are rising in the country
But he didn't answer the importation question. He deviated from the question by talking about being a distributor and that Walmart imports all its goods from Vietnam and China.

When questioned about his VP's comment that the Endsar massacre was debatable, PO response was that he would deal with it. PO refused to agree that the Endsar massacre happened.

I like PO. He is one of the few presidential candidates that are prepared to engage with the media, and the others are Kwankaso, Sowore and the SDP fellow.

I thought as much. How can a small dam make River Niger and River Benue to overflow?

What are the records of the average depth of River Niger and River Benue for the last 50 years? Would dredging minimize the flood?

Many areas have never experienced this kind of flooding..

The government is still clueless on the major factors that led to the floods.
Gravity, the Lagbo Dam is on a highland. The release of the dam water has a ripple effect across the Benue and Niger river because many Nigerians have built their home on the banks of the river.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: How Do You Seek Entry Level Job At The Age 30? by sulaak(m): 12:34pm On Oct 20, 2022

Finished NYSC earlier this month and also turn 30.

Not my fault as it was hard gettting into the university after secondary school, had to settle for polytechnic where another years was wasted as a result of polytechnic epileptic academic calendar.

After i finished OnD, had to wait extra 3years to gather money before proceeding to the University. Then at the university, most times were wasted on strike and all. Eventually graduated last year and now I’m confused as to how to apply as most entry jobs have this age limit clause. Same with graduate trainee too.

So please, are there companies that don’t discriminate their recruitment with age? Or how precisely should I go about my job search?

Thank you as you contribute
You should list all relevant experience, both academic and professional. For example, completing an OND/HND and, finally, a degree would have taken the best part of 8 years. How did you raise funds?

list some of the jobs, both part-time and full-time. Do you work for a charity are you involved in any NGO?
What extra technical training are you involved in?

The aim is to find relevant work experience that can support your distinguished academic experience.

When crime is committed in the north it's very hard for FG to arrest the criminals and even the pretended ones they say them arrest they'll still free them as repentant but if it's in the other regions they'll be quick to arrest and prosecute.
POWER IS NOT SUITABLE IN THE NORTH AT ALL
Do you think the North can steal oil in the South without the involvement of Southern officials?

All the crews are Southerners, the minister of state for petroleum is a Southern from Bayelsa state, and the last one was from Delta state, the minister of petroleum Diezani Alison-Madueke (6 April 2010 – 28 May 2015) was from River state.
