Having read most comment here, this is my submission on the matter... The first is Foundation. Everything in this world exist because of foundation, and most marriage lack's that.. we need to ask ourselves the Question? What is or what will be the foundation of my marriage.... Then if we go deeper into it, we'll realize that most family are only founded on lie's, dishonesty, and pretence.... The second is family and parental background, but it sad the many parents have failed in that responsibility to inculcate good character in their children's upbringing.. I was reading a comment where someone mentioned that reason why divorce was rear in those days was because women were jobless, i laughed 🤣 at that mentality, but I tell you, one of the reasons marriage last then was because the had good Parenting background back then, and everyone knows his/her responsibility, then men were raised to be hard working and engaged in skills, while women were raised to be prepared for parenting, in areas like cooking, cleaning, taking care of the house and their husband, learning skills like trading, hair making, bid making, clothes making etc... Both knows their responsibility in a home, but that can't be said of this generation, where a man don't even know his responsibility has a husband and father and same the woman also... Third is Sacrifice and tolerance .... My Personal wants and needs... In this area we all fits in no one is exempted, but some only apply wisdom and mature in selfcontrol.. the attitude of my wants is all that matters and that of my partner is not important, forgetting that marriage is all about sacrifice and tolerance, i have seen where toothbrush position in the house has ended a marriage before, forget that the two shall become one body, and no more thinking of oneself alone again but both together.... Let me pen down here for now, many areas of divorce have been outlined and talked about earlier too on the platform, so many good point of view have being raised as well..... Now the question is how can we change the dying tide of broken homes (divorce) around with the point most have raised here.... |

I'm not saying Nigeria consume up to that or more but let's take a look at it, IMF failed to understand that in Nigeria with poor electricity supply, the demand for daily consumption of PMS will be higher given that the numbers of Households who run Generator daily is higher than vehicle consumption... Let's take another angle, let take a look at filling station in each state and sum up the total, like NNPC, Mobil, Bovas, Matrix, Nipco, Total, Oando, Conoil, AP(now Forte oil), etc and other private station, and calculate their numbers of those stations we might have in each state, and multiple them by 33,000 little a full load of truck... |

I see people applauding kudos, yes it's a Good development, but in reality, where state Government who receive millions of Naira every month on security vote, now enforcing churches to install CCTV. Now the question is how many churches, schools, event center can Afford CCTV installation? Please read the full press statement of the Governor Press Statement Akeredolu Issues Executive Order On Compulsory Installation, Use Of CCTV Devices Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has signed an Executive Order for the compulsory installation and use of Close Circuit Television (CCTV) devices in all public and private institutions in the state. This becomes imperative in the light of the increased spate of insecurity in the country and the need to ensure security of lives and properties in all public and private institutions and centres throughout the state. The executive order shall be enforced at all religious places of worship, financial institutions (of all kinds), event centres, supermarkets, educational institutions (Schools), Hotels/Motels, Guest House, inns, Restaurants, Clinics and Health Centres, eateries (of all kinds), recreation or vehicular parks and other places regularly used by the public. “Pursuant to Section 176 (2) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which vests in the Governor of Ondo State the Chief Executive powers of the state, the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, hereby issues the following Executive Orders: i. That the owners, occupiers, managers and operators of public/private institutions within Ondo State shall mandatorily install, use and maintain CCTV devices and other secret cameras to monitor and keep surveillance on the daily activities in their premises and especially monitor the ingress and egress of people/vehicles at the said places, venues and centres. ii. That the installed CCTV devices apart from capturing all activities at the public/private institutions must also have data storage hardware and data stored therein should be made available to security agencies whenever it is required. iii. That public/private institutions shall employ and maintain well-trained security personnel who shall man the entry and exit points to their various facilities/premises. iv. That where necessary, the owners and occupiers of public/private institutions shall erect a well fortified perimeter fence with a security post at the entry and exit points. v. That this Executive Order shall be enforced by all security agencies particularly the Nigeria Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ondo State Security Network Agency (Amotekun) and the Department of State Security Services (DSS). vi. That violators of this Executive Order shall be prosecuted in accordance with Section 203 of the Criminal Code (Cap. 37) Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria. I read some comments and I laff, 500k per Month 6m per annum Now let's do small analysis Has a family man of 4 in family husband & wife and 2 kids For feeding, let's say minimum 50k monthly = 600k per annum.. School fees, 2 kids @ 150k per term = 900k per annum, NHIS family health plan 7,500 per month = 90k per annum House rent 600k per annum NEPA bills on prepare meter 10k card per month = 120k per annum Let's say you have a car, or not 25k per month = 300k per annum Other expenses 20k per month = 240k per annum Miscellaneous per month 10k per month = 120k per annum Total = 2.97m let's round it up 3m Giving additional spending of 500k to the above analysis making 3.5m spending per annum, then you have 2.5m balance as savings x in 5yrs = 12.5m In 10yrs = 25m Also take in mind, that 2.5m savings per annum can still increase if other business is involve..... The above analysis is just an average assumption.. What I've noticed about many of us in Nigeria is that most of us want to get rich in a day or in one single business deal or investment. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.” 17.After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. 18.“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? 19.For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.) 20.He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. 21.For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22.greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23.All these evils come from inside and defile a person.” Then having read this. Meaning everything God created he created well... And nothing You eat nor drink is sinful... If you say Drinking a content high in alcohol is Sin, then let tell you this that one of the most and wonderful creation of God is the "Palm tree" rich in everything and nothing waste of the tree... And out of the Palm tree comes the nature wine called "Palm Wine" and God never forbid us not to take nor drink of it.... And you know "Palm Wine" is highly rich in Alcohol... But in everything Normality is what makes us followers of Christ.... Now how many of you know that nearly 70% of the medication you take to cure yourself is enriched with Alcohol and Cocaine content? i just laughed at many who just think Huawei is just into Smartphone and gadget alone.... Huawei has many other devices used especially in Africa, Nigeria to be precise.... Ranging from Modems, Hubs, Switches, Routers, Data Center, wan, lan, and wlan, to wireless network among others..... In Nigeria, 75% of the Routers sold by network provider for internet connection are Huawei products.... mifi, wifi, routers.. etc... and it's the same all over the world. So you guys should not think it's only Smartphones and Gadgets Huawei is into..... do you guys know that 35% of iPhone users are in China.... one Country having 35% of users of a particular product while the rest 289 or more Country including US, UK, Russian and others sharing the 65%....... do the maths. on Android OS Users in China is about 33% of the total in the world.... .. So if Huawei perfect it's new OS and Chinese Government ban other OS like IOS and Android in their country.... do the maths of the implications on both companies economic Slash.... 3 Likes 1 Share |
