Hehehe, see this stupid sell-out! As tiny as Akwa Ibom is, instead of breeding a unifying mindset to see if as a bunch of broom, you can move the needle within your space, you are here spewing gibberish in the name of "no, not us, we are better...can't be us" Let me educate you son. Have you heard that popular saying? "You will never be criticized by those doing better than you" Forever, y'all will always play second, nay third fiddle to the Ibibios. Yes, quote me anywhere. I am sure your folks had an option to choose Ibibio language as a subject to study in high school. The state capital will forever remain in Uyo (Ibibio) deal with it. What happened to your Itai state pipe dream? Oh, fear that you can't stand alone. Don't make me expose your kin, you dingbat Conversations about primitiveness pop up and you, a primordially ethnic annang man want to excuse yourself? Who are the cannibals of the South? In whose marketplaces are fresh human parts displayed freely for sale? Who still believes that the matchet is the best weapon of violence, when your contemporaries have sped away with stealth rifles? Da, abeg nor dey mention Ibibios in the same sentence with Annang people - we're not on the same level man kenny714433: |
Do not allow emotions when dealing with erring women, you can't win them that way - emotions is their turf. You may forgive a fellow man but take every case against a woman as an onslaught. Call it chauvinism or whatever you like. Do not beat her but stretch her capacity, drain her reservoir to zero and bring her to her knees at all cost - she may not love you for that but you will be feared. Remember, better to be feared than loved. This is how men lead households. FFK you did this one, son! |
Before people are misled, Impact Rankings are not the same as actual World University Rankings from Times Higher Education. Only 7 universities in Nigeria are featured on the World rankings and ABUAD is not even there. Ignore sensational headlines which have become the hallmark of journalism in Nigeria and thanks to the internet, do your independent research https://www.timeshighereducation.com/world-university-rankings |
I always look forward to this season. I play hymns from its best renditions - King's College Choir or St. Michaels Singers Thursday/Friday/Saturday: - There is a Green Hill far away - When I survey the wondrous cross - Lift high the cross - O sacred head sore wounded - Ride on, ride on in majesty - My song is love unknown - Cross of Jesus, Cross of Sorrow Sunday: - This joyful Eastertide - Jesus lives thy terrors now - Thine be the glory risen conquering son - Christ the lord is risen today |

Pere may have done well with his disruptive counter-strategy, but sitting with Maria to discuss same in such an emotive manner was altogether classless and stupid. He earned a potential traitor in Maria, and a sympathetic block of votes for WhiteMoney Kuriosmynd: |
Congrats bro. Was looking at HCI at Tallinn but I made a 2.2 in Computer Science. Lemme just respect myself, guess they're very rigid about their 2.1 requirement Upon further search, I noticed EAA offers an MA in Interaction Design. Though this looks more like a professional/specialized masters, is there a chance of using it to get into a PhD at Tallinn should someone want to delve into research in future? KingBillionaire: |
I laughed hysterically reading your post. I tell people, google horsepower (for a start) of as many cars as you can, on your spare time. So that you have a fair knowledge of cars you can challenge for speed. But @op you really insult Toyota owners o, no be small ![]() OfficialDJ: |
I've been driving a Sonata Hybrid 2011, yes Hyundai which I shipped in since 2019. It's one of the most elegant cars on Lagos roads, no jokes, not even that I own it. Last month I took its first trip out of Lagos to Ilesha and everything was smooth. While I won't bother going into it's fuel efficiency, since it's expected, I'd like to comment on the performance. The car dey move, and the comfort is out of this world - soft braking, soft steering, and rapid response handling. For a brief comparison, the Camry 2010 v4 (muscle) produces a power of 169hp, while a Sonata hybrid 2011 does 206hp - the difference is clear. A v4 venza does less! The point I'm trying to make is - 90% of the Nigerian street verdict on all cars are lori iro. When you want to buy a car you like, get more data, do thorough research and get first-hand opinions about the car. Some will be awful, some will be encouraging, know that just because one Mr. T rough-handled his car and it gave him problems doesn't mean the car is bad. All things being equal, the longevity of every car boils down to maintenance. I used a Honda Accord for 4 years took 3 trips to Abuja from Lagos with it, the legs did not pull but just 6 months after I sold it, everything stewed for the new owner. Hybrids are awesome. Some of them are cheetahs for their range of cars. I rest my case |

Dear, I truly commend your sincerity and openness about this, which may be confused to be desperation - It absolutely is not! Trust me, it's an issue and very normal to be a bit angsty about it. In an age when we read of very ugly marital outcomes on nairaland and other media, pushing many to conclude they rather remain unmarried. There are good men out there, a lot that matches who you are looking for. Shocker is - they are also looking out for you! How you connect is the teaser. My two cents: be the person that you want to meet and love (very important). I can't tell if opposites attract anymore, but the age-long nugget goes "Birds of a feather flock together". There will be likely an instant attraction (physical and otherwise) when you meet this person. Develop friendship and a deep spiritual connection with him. Secondly, enjoy your everyday life as a single and learn to love yourself deeply. That it will surely happen for you should quiet the recurring question of "when". Go on and focus on your other time-bound life goals. Achieving a happy married life is not time-bound. Lastly, do not be sorry for being choosy - If you meet a fellow and it turns out "not like it" please walk away. |
