It's normal. I had the worst embarrassing moment when I was hunting for job in Victoria island Lagos. The stupid man embarrassed me because I looked skinny and hungry in the presence of his sex partner office secretary. I wish he could meet me today, he won't have such effrontery to speak demeaning words again.

The problem I have with some contract staff is that they get too comfortable there.

I know this contract staff, the guy kept telling every other full staff that one day he would be part of profit sharing and all. It was like a joke, he started doing his Masters. Fortunately the bank started converting contract staff with good HND grades and a particular age range to semi-full staff_ he was among the first set to be converted .

Now, the guy is enjoying his life fairly. With experience, he would port to another bank.
He now participates in profit sharing, entitled to car loan etc... that's a determined contract staff.

@ MissAssy, life at times is not friendly with extended relations. I was a victim of worse scenario with a devilish step mother but thank God they now depend on me for their shelter and survival. Their oppressions made me a better and stronger person I am today.

This thread is quite interesting! Bankers always plan their exit on the day they receive the appointment letter. Wise bankers save for the rainy day and plan for better opportunities. There's no gainsaying the fact that some banks pay pretty well but comes with it's attending heart wreckage and attack. I suggest anyone who has the opportunity to work in a bank to do so keeping other openings in check.
