lomprico:Original coke in most countries except for some countries in Europe and Mexico that mandated their coke be made with cane sugar, the coke we drink in Nigeria included are made with High Futrose Corn Syrup… either way na still another poison lol sorry to break the news to you. |
fredoooooo:We’ve been drinking coke made with High futrose corn syrup for years, and it’s even known to cause many health problems nobody have sued them for that. They will invent another sweetener to replace aspartame soon. |
All these documents, nothing shows where he renounced his Nigerian citizenship na. Accepting a nothing country’s citizenship is not against the Nigerian law, as long as it is declared and he did. Another wild goose chase. |
VenExchangee:You are correct, he went to IMO State University. |
I thought EFCC is financial crime, this should be a police jurisdiction na. This overlapping of responsibilities sha |
Igwe9:You have also been able to withdraw cash too right ? |
Kingsnairaland:Yes China will have better trains and more modern cos they are newly built. NY subways were built in the 40s. Remember that. Yes the NY subway is dirty, if not the dirtiest in the nation. No secrets here, it’s controlled my MTA, which is NY state owned. Also, NY as a state is struggling to keep up with its population and infrastructural pressure. I’ve seen some parts of Paris subway stations that are not just dirty but stink horribly. Yes Japanese and Chinese have cleaner stations fine. Don’t make it seem like it’s exclusively an American things just to tag America. Every country has its challenges, America is not heaven. I haven’t been to Japan and China myself to see for myself just an fyi |
Desusi:Until proven in the court. Yes, Nigeria is ridiculously rich and Tinubu has said this many times that the “Elephant is big enough for everyone” Nigeria is rich enough for all its citizen to benefit from it. |
Kingsnairaland:No argument, Russia hands down has some of the best subway and longest in the world. Now don’t compare to Americas, compare to other countries that are investing in subways like other European countries. No basis to compare to Americas. |
There’s no basis for comparison. US is investing in Road networks and Europe is investing more in rail. Since the development of NY rail then, US haven’t been investing in rail in a long time until recently that they are beginning to. The likes of California, Florida are developing new rail infrastructure. Was in LA recently and used some brand new subway system out there, and the LA to SF fast rail is still ongoing and getting for FG boost out of the infrastructure bill. Also, Florida is building fast trains too. If America choose to invest in mass transit again it will. No worry there’s no will power ni. |
Playing the devils advocate here. Having businesses in the UK is not enough to call him corrupt, as long as such businesses were not open with stolen funds. Also, having his family members as directors of businesses is also not illegal. Also, all siting and pass Nigerian politicians need to be picked up for questioning around corruption if that’s the way. I strongly believe Emefiele is just answering to the call about the hell that he put the Nigerian citizens through during the election period, literally shutting off the economy in the name of currency changing, and the whole scam about the true cost of the naira printing and how the contracts were issued out. |
On religion: You’re 100% wrong. If you’re a Yoruba man or lived in the South West you’d probably know better that an average Yoruba man puts God first, the religion second. Irrespective of what path/religion you choose, a Yoruba man sees you as the same as long as you’re saving a single superior God. This is why Tinubu a practicing Muslim is married to an active pastor in the ministry. On security: Until the whole fabric of our security architecture is redesigned, we won’t see any changes. This is the basic, he has promised to reform it all, I’m patiently waiting for his reforms on that. Most importantly, such reforms must involve bringing massive economic development to the NigerDelta and the North. |
seanfer:You first point was straight out of my head, you nailed it!!! |
MissLeslie:Original werey abata |
DiscoverID:Who told you that MC is a U.S. citizen ? Lol 😂 you people play too much |
Ihateheadslamer:Because its an old format in Germany and then ? It cant be a new development elsewhere ? You people need to really get over this complex issue. |
bentenny:Sorry I said that cos every sentence end with a "!" Also, I've agreed with you. We should be cool now ![]() |
bentenny:Baba I’m not fighting you na 😁 I can read in the tone infact your post that you’re screaming gan o 😂 I agree with everything you said 😊 quote me again when they conclude on the figure 😊 |
bentenny:You’re only confirming what I said in my first post. But like I said, expect 50-80k… |
bentenny:I hear you, quote me again if they get above 100k! Until stay safe out there. And all your long analysis, not of it mentioned the impact of sudden rise in purchasing power... like I said, until then. |
bentenny:Again, I never said it cannot be negotiated. The FG on its own planned it review, but is even 100k is not realistic. SME's cannot afford to pay their cleaners or servers 100-120k. |
bentenny:Yes I read it, my emphasis is about the unrealistic 200k |
200k is quite unrealistic. We need to remember that minimum wage is the lowest any employer of Labour should pay an employee and this includes public/private. By implication, that means that a POS attendant, a janitor, restaurant server must be paid Atleast that minimum? Yes it will drive up inflation, but how will a private employer afford that? How do you raise from 30-200k without a corresponding boost in the consumer behavior ? Or without a Corresponding boost in the economy ![]() I’d expect something between 50-80k realistically as a minimum wage. And a considerable tax holiday for people making less then 250k/month. |
There’s a couple in South Africa. Alternatively, you can be patient for Tinubu’s admin recruitment into the armed forces, get your training through the military it’s easier to work with most PMCs around the world since you have prior experience. |
emmysmith13:Lol, meant African countries are surviving on our subsidized gas to survive, now it’s worse for them be careful where you run to lol and it’s not finished for the country, maybe just for you Abeg |
lexy2014:Okay, I’ll pretend that I didn’t all read that and save my energy 😁😁😁 |
lexy2014:Do I really need to spoon feed you with the details about how governments around the world provide affordable mass transit for its citizen without being in transportation business ? Really? |
BlackAdams007:Free advice, don't expect palliatives in form of hand outs. I would expect it in form of affordable mass transit for the poor and something along that line. I hope Tinubu knows better to not give hand outs. |
mrcoolautofix:Stop comparing US to Nigeria. Different infrastructure, social benefits, incomes among others. That being said where does gas cost that cheap?? 1 gallon goes for $4.50 average now, A gallon = 3.785 litters, divide that by 4.50 and you get approximately $1.20 per liter. |
jmoore:If you listened to the NNPC chief executive’s talk, he said they have opened the flood gate for anybody who can import to come and get license. Infact they’ve made it easier and faster to be approved since last year. That being said, Dangote won’t be paying for shipping and duties, he is sourcing his materials within Nigeria and refining within the country, essentially he can still compete favorably. They can’t pause licensing because Dangote is coming online in July, that’s setting the country up for monopoly. If dangote want to monopolize the market, let me sell it at a rate lower than the landing cost. All well. |
Nigeria has many short range air defense systems and some protecting the Aso Rock. Nigeria also acquired the Chinese HQ-9 SAM system which is a medium range system back in 2020. |
The only hope out there is the Renewed Hope for the Nigerian state. |
