A lot of Nigerians are japa-ing to the UK, it is natural for airlines to hike the price for flights going to UK and other western countries from Nigeria knowing fully that Nigerians are going at all cost. While their funding problem is part of the issue, generally airlines are some of the greediest business people.

Hello fam.
I will be traveling to the UK soon (Scotland precisely) and I intend to book a flight (Turkish Airline) that has a stopover at Istanbul and Dublin.
Do I need a transit visa to go through Dublin?

Please I really need your reply 🙏
When in doubt, call the airline.

If you did, don't you think it would be one of the airline's requirements?

Mumu².
No need calling him mumu na, plus airline don’t list out any blanket requirements, it’s a person by person basis based on your country of origin.

We are not talking about the US economy...we are talking about Nigeria where the informal sector contribute over 65% of the GDP; how will raising interest rates and all the gibberish you type up there do any good to a largely informal economy like Nigeria?

I see you are too full of yourself to absorb knowledge.
You just said “tell me what country slow down their economy”

and I just have you one yet, you are telling me not to mention US again. Uk nko? They also do the same, Canada do same, China and India do the same.

Don’t contradict yourself now.

How many governments around the world do you know that have implemented Economic slowdown?
Economic slowdowns have negative effects. Increasing unemployment, dropping income levels, poverty and all the negatives.
Economic slowdowns precedes recession

Every country in the world wants a growing economy or a stable economy. Slowing down the Economy is never implemented or adopted as policy of Government.
Stop exposing your ignorance.

All governments are the world slow down economy when inflation is rising. The US as example use interest rates, right now it is 7% and still rising. Before now it used to be 2% range. Cost of borrowing is increased to discourage businesses from borrowing, and make people spend less… when the inflation is down they reduce interest rates again and encourage spending and borrowing again.

Slow down is not shutting down, the purchasing power of the citizen is reduced that’s the goal.

It is simple economics! Don’t quote me again if you don’t know what you’re talking about. Google is your friend.

Here's a video of Tinubu Promising to reduce the purchasing power of Nigerians and Slow down the Economy

With this video it's very clear that the objective of Tinubu's economic policies is the make Nigerians poorer; but to what end?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sldjUe_QFpQ
Slowing down economy is a method governments use across the world to combat inflation. When it reduces they pump money again to accelerate the economy. Simple economics!

Usually interest rate is used is most countries so that deters borrowing, but Nigerian economy is not that well structured yet to have a real effect if interest rate was adjusted. Calm down and endure the temporary pain.

He said it the way it appears in the law. The law did not specifically say you must have 25% votes in Abuja. The lawyer is actually right . That is exactly how the law put it. assuming the law says after have 25% in 3/4 States , you must also have 25% votes in Abuja it would have been a different case. The lawyer is brilliant aswear.

my school only accept direct bank transfer or convera and debit card of which the debit card the bank said i can't transfer if I bought from Aboki and deposited. unless inflows.

I don't want to try other options cos the school are concerned about the source of funds most importantly
Direct bank transfer is you sending flutterwave to your friends or family and have them make the direct bank transfer. Abi I no sabi English again ni ? All your school care about is getting their money and as long as you add your identifier in the payment reference you should be fine.

Alternatively, Contact your international student office and explain your situation to them, they will work with you.

Wo, you do you. No energy to dey emphasize on the obvious.

first you will ask if your school receives such payment platform.

They have instructions they outlined. which you have to follow.

transfering over 5 to 8m no be beans I no want hear stories
You could do flutterwave to family or friends that you trust, and pay the school? Or doing in bits, you don’t have to do all at once if you don’t trust their platform.

Bottom line is that we both agree that there’s options out there.

The act of acquiring a mandate with substantial funds and having genuine intentions to utilize it for positive purposes is an unlikely scenario. Although this may seem unrelated to foreign exchange (Forex), there is an underlying connection between the two. Thank you for bringing up this point.
What is the underling connection?

You people never wake up to reality that Tinubu is your president abi?

Continue looking for mandate wey no lost, even your candidate don accept Tinubu as his president lol

Okay... Make Una continue dey hype the drug Lord.... Very soon he will return the mandate and INEc chairman will be jailed....

Dollar is 815 today
It’s one thing for forex to be available (this will attract investors and bring more flow, remember Emirate? That’s why they stop flying to Nigeria maybe they’d come back now)

Naira getting to 815 is another thing, naira is taking its true value, and not the artificial rate Buhari and Emefiele forcefully kept at 480 that made their friends stupendously rich. Now naira it’s taking its real value. That’s one step!

Next step is to improve our exports and that will help balance out trade which in turn make naira appreciate and that 815 will even drop in the long term if this government follow through on their campaign promise.

It won’t happen overnight, Buhari didn’t ruin naira overnight! Thank you

I have been running from one Aboki to another all of them are helpless.
If you can give me dollar for 850 please face to face transaction in the east please indicate... meeting inside the bank
Use flutterewave, they accept naira to dollar and other currencies. Try Lemonade they accept naira to pounds. It’s not that hard like you made it sound.

Unless, Abia state has been removed from SE states according to you.

Flets:
I am sorry you don't understand the subject.

CBN could stop round tripping without floating the Naira. All that was needed was to remove all restrictions imposed by Emefiele's CBN and stop selling CBN to different folks at different rates... sell at a particular rate to all.

Floating the Naira is an entirely different animal. As huge as Chinese economy and market is, they could not afford to float their currency much more Nigeria that imports virtually everything. Una well at all?
You should really calm down.
You are here proposing devaluation by what you explained, floating is effectively doing exactly that and more.

Comparing the Chinese market, they have constantly devalue their currency every other year.

Yes, Nigeria floated but not free float instead it’s a managed float. The CBN knows better that we are imported based economy and knows better to not free float the naira.

And you think I don't know? Corn syrup is still natural form of glucose.
Oh if you think you know then you are wrong. High-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is an artificial sugar made from corn syrup. It is not naturally occurring, instead it is synthesized.

Only the US FDA once labeled it as natural and they have withdraw that stand after US medical community challenged them. No where is it labeled natural, it’s even banned in the EU.
