most people here are just talking about the your girlfriend. Why are men so chauvinistic ? where the real problem there is the man! If he can go ahead and Bleep your fiancée that he knows very well, then he has no regards for you. that should have been a no go area for him eve if he is an expert in cargoing girls of all kinds. I thought you said he has a harem of them? so what do you expect. And yet everybody is blaming the girl only when you know the guy's trade is to fall any girl that caught his fancy. |
I think the real culprit is that your friend. He knew this is your fiancée and still planned and executed fucking her. he is wicked. Any man could be attracted to any woman but the knowledge that she belongs to someone else is what makes him leave such a woman. That should be natural. Else that man is a beast naturally. Throw off that friend. As for the lady, you can forgive her and if you still love her, take her back. Every woman admires some things in men even though she loves her man. Don't mistake that for not loving you. No matter how a man is, he cannot be 100% perfect, so an attribute missing could just catch the woman's attention and if care is not taken, she can easily fall for a fleece, especially if the man start toasting or enticing her. We all know how we toast women, any woman can fall when properly enticed. Women are weak generally and a man can catch any woman with the proper skill, you know now........ SO THE PROBLEM IN SEXUAL PROMISCUITY ARE 'MEN' not women, no mater how skilful and wise women think they are, if we want them, we still get them. That is the sage lesson since ages gone by. So your woman fell for one of those traps set by your friend, if not, she already have a man she calls her own and had stayed there for years. Do you know how many other advances from men she must have resisted and ignored? But your friend was able to capture her because he is close and knows how to get her. Women having fall into such mistake once, never go into it again except she did not love you before hand and this you would have known too. But if she loves you and you know this, then what happened was a mistake for her and she would wish that area of her life is away for life. But as for the Man, he will indulge in more escapes and keep boasting about it. He will just take heart and forge ahead in life as if nothing had happened because no man loves a woman absolutely, he can still love another woman alongside but for women they can only love one man. This is my own opinion and I hope it may guide you to a reasonable decision, not just for today but with the future in mind. If you love your woman take her back or please never talk about it anymore, don't spread the story, her spirit will never be at rest nor let you rest if this destroys her future. Unfortunately, men like you even after marrying someone else, will still go back one day and eat from this same old fire you are leaving now because of 'First Love' |
We looked at the King and not the woman who provoked him to the extend he beats her up. Now you said he was fighting. Lets be considerate, some so called wife of the mighty are devilish and will do anything to tarnish your image. They take whatever they do for granted with the 'Blackmail' trap that because of your position, you can do nothing. That was what happened I suppose. King or no King, the man in him will give it out one day, but the issue was that his people (or enemies) did not cover up that incident as it is done in most cases, especially if they are benefitting from his positioning. His matter should be revisited, and if he shows enough remorse, he can be re-installed. |

This case is worse to dabble into but very interesting. The Catholic Church has not yet categorically given hope to its myriads of members that they will go to heaven, at least so far. Unlike the Deeper Life, Redeem or CPM etc. However, Chris Okotie insinuation is disturbing. He is not God who will determine who will not go to heaven. He needs to check on how he makes utterances in order to win people to the right side if he thinks they are wrong. The important thin here is for everyone to check what the scriptures says should be done and what should not be done in order to make heaven. I believe all Christian believes there is heaven and thus should desire to be there, if you don't, I don't think you are a Christian. We should watch how we judge. Regards. |
If you can't go to Yankee, at least dress up your family and snap pictures at the zoo. You have gone close to 'NatGeo' somehow if you can package the Photo collage. If you don't get what you like, Like what you get. That man did all these in that simple phantom ceremony. At last it sounds a beautiful story. Not because of its content but the hope and aspirations it represents. |
He has done what he could do. Rip to Fred and happy living for his Family. You can fashion out your own wish too. At least match what you can do with what you can't. it will still be a beautiful dream anyday. |
It is a Phablet !! |
The man need to rest at least. He has seen it all in Nigeria I hope he is not weeping over the Country still. |
happy Valedictory to a Noble Man of Nigeria. These are respectable men that are worth their salt on integrity, patriotism and peace. I Salute Dr Kolade, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, Pastor Gamaliel Onosode, Alhaji Maitama Sule and a host of few others still alive. They gave Nigeria something to be proud of. Even those attributing his retirement to the SURE-P saga need to realise that it is even more honourable if our current leaders can put in their resignations when the institutions they lead fails. Nigeria would have been a better Country that way. Wish Dr Kolade a sweet retirement and peace in his aged days. |
However, I think Nigeria's problems are also over-rated. We are often in comparison with industrialized and post-industrialized nations, whereas we were never even industrialized, which seems better for us. Compare us with any country in Africa and Middle-east (The Region we are) and you will be amazed we are a supper Country. In Africa, Nigeria is still the King anyhow. I think only South Africa and Ghana may be close but when viewed with Population and Size, we should have more problems than them. So we need to look inward and actually work on just a few things and the multiplier effect of those few will enhance improvement in others. This we have been struggling to do in the last 13 years. BUt the question is what should be our focus? We seem lost on that. |
As Nigerians, we deserve the kind of Leaders we have. Give it or take it, they claim we voted them but we say they rigged themselves in, but we never really gave a hoot. It means we don't bother how they get there and they know this, so they indulge in getting to power with or without us. |
Opportunity to have a nice part for His Birthday away from the prying eyes of Nijers.......ehehn? ok oo Happy Birth Day to the President with a new face of Nigeria ( at least not the braggado lords as in the past, beating us dry with boldness, commadndosk of assumed authority to own us and own Nigeria) With Jonathan, the story of Leadership in Nigeria has changed forever ...... ANYBODY CAN BECOME ANYTHING, just some twixt of circumstances (and not birthrights) ...... With Jonathan, the story of Leadership in Nigeria has changed forever ...... this is what Islam is said to be like ..... I wonder where Sadam, Osama, BH, Ghadafi etc get their own version? This is to tell us that those who led others into terrorism are not religious apologists but wicked criminals who need to be judged so and punished. |
Did you attempt using Bunsen burner to cook a cup of rice while in the lab without supervision? Or using microscope to see and pick the different articles in a 'shit'? A yanmma!! |
Fadelex: tears always roll down my cheeks each time I see children loses either or both of their parents...That relations could not fulfil what they promised on such occasion is just natural to human limitations. It does not mean they were insincere but its just natural that everybody just go back from that point and start carrying the load they suspended to come and commiserate with you. We all have our burden (full and overwhelming already) but took a break from our works and worries when we hear of someones greater grief and at that moment it also overwhelmed our minds beyond what we had, to make us feel a pain we can share and thus we always think we can help to ameliorate the burdens of the mourning relations. Moreover, as it is said 'man proposes but God disposes', at the time the person planned he would effect his help, he may not have the resource or wherewithal to implement it whereas the hope of the bereaved was set on it. It becomes disappointing and you will also discover that whenever he remembers or you confront them for disappointing you, he feels so sorry and give all the reasons he couldn't do it, you will call them 'excuses' but you need to listen to him very well to realy know he is not lying. such is life. I even have varied experiences of these situations and even yourself currently have compassionate promises you cannot help right now. However, God at such moment is only telling us that in whatever situation you find yourself, believe every body but put your trust only in God for whatever help you will receive because He is the only 'Alewi-Lese' the almighty, all knowing and omnipotent One. Even any help you will receive from man is the one enabled by God Himself. Many wants to help, but God has not put your 'help' into their hands. Like I said, I have such commitments I cannot meet right now and to those concerned, it is like I forgot them. Whereas, at the same time, I had just extended some 'olive' widows might to some people recently and it was like 'oh, you are God-sent' SUCH IS LIFE. |

This is not the problem of Christianity but an issue of Selfishness. The Churches seems not to respect each other. There is a dearth of civilization in this our country and the individuals running these churches are just behaving the nigerianness in them. At least I expect the leaders to consider one another and plan to even give good distance, even assist each other, to cover more grounds by deliberately delineating perimeters one church or district should cover and challenge them to cover their vicinity ( you bring the one next to you and I bring the one next to me, in no time at all we'll win them all - a song). Another scenario I discovered is not helping is like in the case of RCCG where you may have about 2 or 3 parish on one street or close-by and none in a long distance or some people attend whichever branch they want, far away, not the one close to their abode because of familiarity, popularity or just to identify with the 'big one' parish. Our leaders in Ministry should look into these. Lets respect each other and also forgo some territories already pinned on by others and also encourage our members to attend Churches nearest to them. W don't need to 'travel' to attend Church. Take a clue from the old church 'missions' we have in our villages, they are always around the center of the community and forms the rallying point for our social religious activities, even the very play point for all the children of the town. 'Where is Joshua?', 'He is playing at the Mission' was always the recommended slogan to avoid some cane at home if you stay out too long. A troubled man or a distraught mother runs into the church altar first for socour. The lost stranger feels safe and hopeful when he can sight the premise of a 'mission'. Can we still have that now? Not with our Churches being locked because that is the 'treasure' of some owners and more prone to draw blood (In the name of money for prayers or donations) from even the impoverished caller. Christian Leaders have to be true Leaders now or they soon lost their 'followership' when we all get 'wise' |
Nigeria is oil-dependent, Not oil-rich Prof. Assisi Asobie, bares his mind on Nigeria as an oil-producing nation? on 16 OCTOBER 2013 An oil-rich nation has plenty of oil and little population with such level of oil production that when the entire population shares the volume of oil produced, the figure is appreciable. Nigeria in terms of gross earning, the highest we have had so far was $60 billion. If this is divided by 160 million, then you will find that Nigeria cannot be called an oil-rich nation just like you can call Libya, Qatar or Saudi Arabia. |
Ekweremadu said something salient. Police HQTrs was attacked in IG's convoy, the IG was not sacked 7 Crashes and Near accidents under one Aviation Minister and nobody was sacked except Demurin who actually descended on those who failed to do their Duty at NCAA. What is Bamanga Tukur doing in PDP chair by now? How do we see Police Commisioner Mbu in Rivers State? Who has gone to jail for even proven Public Fund (Govt money !!) thru EFCC? If not for OBJ, how many of the Leaders dare arrest, prosecute (and pursue) or jail anybody in Govt. What is Anenih still doing in GOvt. circle after OBJ sacked him form Ministry of Works for 'jeunjeun' or 'chop-I-chop' CORRUPTION IS NOT OUR PROBLEM, IT IS OUR BREAD ...... How do we punish corruption and incompetence of those in POWER? When you try it and you see the millions of people who benefit under this 'huruhuru' arrangement, you will keep shut !!! ASK The SILVA integrity Group in Bayelsa or The ODILI vanguard in Rivers. What of The Ibori Trusts Association or is it the BABANGIDA Boys? |

Until corruption is being punished, it will remain our culture to steal 'govt money'. What we call 'Corruption' here is like giving it a beautiful bridal name that can be tolerated. To me it is simply 'WICKEDNESS IN THE HIGH PLACES' because if the exhorbitant and inflated costs of social projects were taken and the basic Facilities were put in place, it will not matter much, but all the money is gone and nothing was done which was to be for the benefit of the Society - that is WICKEDNESS, ROBBERY AND INHUMAN. For instance, Electricity was all we needed for some meaningful living, it has been acknowledged by all governments and trillions of money spent, but we still remain at the level of 1973 where we got 'light' 7 hours in 7days; yet nobody had gone to jail for 'eating' the money without doing his job. Rather, all the former MD,, GMs and Contractors of ECN, NEPA, PHCN are now our elderstatesmen and rolling in millions. You merely call that 'corruption'. That is WICKEDNESS joo!! |
Frosbel, What are you really at by now in all this zealous arguments and lambastings? Are telling the person who started the thread that she must use make up and wear trouser to prove that she is a real Christian? or what? I think you are taking it too far. The issue of dressing, make up, ornaments and all sorts is like a middle road approach in Christiandom. Me thinks. |
