nice but have they sorted the issue of hanging of their phones?
Temitope1759: Information making the rounds on media has it that Infinix would be launching a new smartphone in a short time, if the rumored specifications are true, then we sure are about to be blown away.
The upcoming device is a 7-inch workaholic, to run on a 5500mah battery, with the ability to meet the day-long power requirement of any mobile user. This, in simple terms, would mean that the device could run for 4 days straight, on one full charge. Supplementary to this is the 2A technology charging that allows you to attain full charge in less than an hour.
Images of the device also reveal a beautifully crafted outer frame with a shiny gradient color. However, the full range of color variations for this device is still unknown.
We can expect the upcoming Infinix decive to also adopt the triple AI camera setup, well known for its efficiency in facilitating excellent smartphone photography.
Now here’s another stunner from this device. Reports gathered reveal both the front- and rear-facing cameras of the upcoming HOT 8 are equipped with flashlights (4 flashlights for the rear-facing camera, 1 flashlight for front-facing camera), allowing you to take clear photos even at night or under weak light. So whether its early morning selfies or late-night hangout pictures, this device has got you covered.
In addition, this smartphone is said to possess a waterdrop screen with a screen-to-body ratio reaching up to 90%, this allows more content to be displayed, while the phone is still compact and portable, and is just perfect for games and movie lovers.
All these amazing features in one device? This leaves us with one question, “how much is this device going to cost?”. Until then we eagerly anticipate the unveiling of this smartphone. The leaks already show it’s an absolute stunner that matches premium looks with advanced mobile tech features, a totally enticing blend if you ask me.
ChemBrodar: According to the actor cum politician, 'I always thought our problem was our leaders till I joined politics and realized the people are also a big part of the problem. If you run for office and you don't have money to share, even your village people will leave you and support a well known kidnapper who is sharing money'.
Igbere TV reports that healso said, 'yes our leaders have failed us for so long but running out of the country is not the best option. Who go fix am? Then we are treated as 3rd class citizens abroad. We need all hands on deck, all voices. The fewer the opposition, the easier it is for the oppressor to carry on'.
This one is just bandying the word 'entitled' anyhow. Consult a dictionary, please.
darfay: I wonder why Nigerians and other Africans are feeling entitled, if you are not welcomed pack your load and go. It's high time we developed our own country and stop this feeling of entitlement in other people's own.
jakezebrax: Pastor Darby of blessed memory was one of the few people that woke me up yrs back. Also see Pastor Omar; his DNA came back as Igbo/Hebrew too. Have you notice they are only persecuting the Black Hebrews...Igbos/Biafrans, African Americans, Southern Cameronians, Black Carribeans/Hiatians,e.t.c.? Because we are different from Hausa-Fulani and Yorubas. We are not the same people and they know it!
I wonder what the issue would have been if Salah had scored.
felaismyhero: you are wrong; a striker's duty is to score goals.he becomes selfish when he tries to have a go from a difficult position while there is a teammate in a better position.
Didn't Bubu hold a banquet after inauguration even after knowing how colossal his first instance was? Na their way. Na our way. Owambe. No be for burial people dey complain of the beef size? Free them please.
What are the authorities waiting for? Give it the Wike treatment, though Wike demolished floor mats and blokos kettle. This is even a full house unlike in Rivers where we had only fence and floor mats abi prayer mats. Is it when people die that we'll act?
He is hibernating for the next spring season of trader monie. All he is good for. A whole vice president. We have ministries, agencies, lobbyists, even official touts to visit markets but he chose to distribute pseudobribes himself. Sha sha sha ... Why didn't PMB who is manning a critical sector - oil put blind, deaf and dumb Osinbajo to manage another critical sector - power? He is a mere commissioner. In fact, I recommend that Osibanjo should start training for the next Paralympics.
dan2976: OSINBAJO is totally deaf... Please don't go there. We are not aware of his location or his relevance today? Does he even live in abuja or he has gone on leave? Help us greet him anywhere u find him since it appears u are the only one looking for him.
My dear Richard Ogundiya - I don't who you are nor where you live; I would have trekked to your house and force my share of the pay-to-write cashout you just performed on the VP from you. The national cake must go round. Talk of envelop journalism and lackeys.
Venom236: On 20th of August 2019, Itunu Ajayi from Maryland USA revealed his standpoint on The Guardian about Vice President Osinbajo’s presumed silence on the incessant killings and security instability in many parts of the country. For someone who is a 2014 Kurt Schork Fellow in International Journalism (yes, I looked him up), it was an uninformed, depressing take packed with personal bias and judgements that didn’t do justice to credit a man whose foundational role is to deputise, support and advise the president. This factless blasphemy by Itunu disguised in the suit of an opinion by one who prides to be a journalist is a valid reason why people’s faith in journalism is fast drifting.
Itunu’s evocative postulations give the impression of a hyper-deliberate attempt at slandering Yemi Osinbajo and undermining his achievements and contributions as arguably the most active, seen, heard and devoted Vice President Nigeria has ever encountered.
Itunu attempts to play a centrist. But too often, we confuse centrism with fairness, objectivity or common-sense truth. But centrism is none of those, it is a point of view, and it can be wrong, just as conservatism or liberalism can be; so opinions must be based on accurate information, sound logic, and expressed respectfully.
He wants us to believe, without any certitude, that Osinbajo is not deeply concerned about the current state of the country because of his own misinterpretation of events. He consciously forgets to mention evert instance the Vice President has spoken out on issues of insecurity in the country, every time he has condemned wrongdoing by enemies of our state, every time he has paid a solidarity visit to victims and reminded them that government cares, and would not forget them - passing the message of relieve and hope to the victims. He consciously denies the truth to his readers when he pretends not to know that President Buhari has the ears of his number two man, and they, whether we know it or not, meet time without number to discuss issues of national interests.
In his essay, the writer consciously strips the Vice President off his constitutional capacity through deliberate ignorance of the roles and responsibilities that flow therefrom, but thereafter goes ahead to hold him liable for those functions that are not even his.
He then attempts to severe his office from the Buhari government, as if they are not one, and that the two elected leaders should act in discord. The story forces its readers to digest misconstrued analysis as facts and struggles to beg for empathy by connecting it to the general displeasure of nationwide killings. What makes it absurd and ridiculous is that he thinks and believes that the President and his Vice are not troubled about the insecurity or working towards seeing the end of the menace. Nothing could be more far from the truth. There is no political leader who prays for disability knowing it would injure his name, or who is in a place of power would do nothing to end such. And this in fact is the least expected.
Since he assumed office in 2015 as President Muhammadu Buhari’s deputy, VP Osinbajo has played an increasingly prominent role in Nigeria's government and his accomplishments are incomparable to any other Vice President as they surpass by far.
Not too long ago, former President Obasanjo had disclosed that his deputy, Atiku Abubakar, complained about taking on too many responsibilities as the nation's number 2 citizen in their days of power. That is in contrast with the reality today; Vice President Osinbajo not only chairs the National Economic Council which works with several parastatals to identify problems, recommend and execute solutions regarding economic development, poverty alleviation and foreign exchange policies, he also oversees the National Social Investment Office which facilitates empowerment schemes aimed at students, traders, farmers, enterprises and bottom of the pyramid population.
The Social Investment Office boasts of the largest social investment ever attempted in Africa. And it is succeeding. It feeds almost 10 million pupils in public schools; it has provided entrepreneurship and skill based jobs to 500,000 previously unemployed graduates; it is giving cash to Nigeria’s poorest families in the hinterland communities to improve their welfare and livelihood. But Itunu is in haste to lash out on the Vice President and his office that he forgets these, as well as the administration’s ongoing plans on establishing a sustainable herding system across the country through the National Livestock Transformation Plan - which Vice President Osinbajo oversees - that would put a sustainable end to clashes between herders and farmers and the consequent killings.
He also misses out on the fact that the Buhari - Osinbajo administration is re-engineering the country’s national security architecture to help combat attacks led by Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP), farmer-herder clashes and other unfortunate bandits.
His failure to mention the times the Vice President has visited families of victims, visited areas of attack to assess the impact and report to his principal is evident of Itunu’s deliberate mischief and shortfall of honest intentions.
Recall that on 26th of June 2019, Osinbajo interacted with The Council on Foreign Relations in the USA and extensively talked about the current state of ISWAP, challenges rocking the administration and ongoing efforts to completely deal with the insecurity. He has also led the consultations and meetings - especially in the south west - seeking an end and solutions to the kidnappings and killings. He is largely responsible for the peace we see in the South South today; the absence of a hitherto raging militancy is courtesy his back and forth in the region in 2016 where he met and dialogued with the leaders there and constantly assuring Nigerians of the Federal Government’s commitment to continue to give priority attention to the operational requirements and welfare of the Nigerian Armed Forces. He seats as the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council which means he has a voice at the highest points whenever issues of security are brought up. Are these items of silence, or is Itunu just simply deaf?
It is without doubts that he has brought value and and function to his office, as manager of the economy and other assignments given to him. The Vice President’s pace of action has been commended by many Nigerians and international bodies prompting suggestions that he should continue playing the major roles in the government.
According to the writer, Professor Osinbajo’s call for alliances across faiths and ethnicities to wreck national threats hindering the country’s unity and coexistence is enough concrete reason to accuse him of lackadaisical attitude and noiselessness. I am left to wonder if a birthday ceremony is the best place to give a detailed proposition on how the government plans to successfully tackle security challenges. It is no coincidence that even before now, the Vice President has always addressed cooked narratives by opposition that the presidency is protecting killer herdsmen and Boko Haram members as a desperate ploy to promote ethnic and religious suspicion. Without doubt, Itunu’s phoney claims are inaccurate, abandon objectivity and suspend sense of fairness, declaring judgement in his own court of reasoning. This haste to demonize the Buhari administration is agenda-driven, not Information-driven.

This is misinformation. An uninformed observer would think that Nigerians have power always but were unfortunate to experience blackout for those 7 hours. It's not so. We are perpetually in darkness everyday of the week, month and year. They have been serving us collapse constantly. In fact, no one notices any difference. [author=Gistformant post=81806401]
Why lump two separate events together to sensationalize your likes? That statement that, Rivers is a Christian state, though uncalled for was made months ago. The fence demolitions happened last week. The fence was not demolished because it is said that Rivers is a Christian state. Have a proper hang of the story and run to town with it. With what your mind has been abused with, your listeners are finished. Meanwhile, there was no structure on that land except the fence. What was demolished was it subterranean?
Fariq: The argument is not about the area. It's about demolition of the Mosque structure that is being denied.
If at all what you're saying is the truth, why not give them in written that they need to acquire another land elsewhere because religious building are not allowed in the area rather than demolishing it and claiming your state is Christian state.
By that they can sell it to another industry, move to other place and purchase new land.
That area of town is meant for industries and not religious houses. A church, The King Assembly, bought but forfeited the land because it was dubiously assigned to them. Till date, they have not acquired the said piece but have found solace in another property in GRA. That's a church. Unless you are telling us the mosque is an industry.
Fariq: Indeed they have raised a structure which Wike demolished. And that plot of land was legally purchased at the sum of 11 million naira.
Go and find food and eat and live a fulfilled life; in addition, make the world a better place. Uncivilised thoughts are primitive. Chest beating on religious and tribal grounds is barbaric and caveous.
Arespect10: Believe it or not ISLAM must dominate the whole world
This is what excess dollars stuffed in Babaringa can do to someone. It gives you a false sense of sense when actually you are talking nonsense. Didn't these people read that that area was not designed for religious houses? The urban development ministry demolished the fence. So be it. There are mosques scattered all over the town. These people sef.
dangotesmummy: E pain am sotey he go research about the history of infomie
Actually when people refer to any individual as an indomie generation,it means the person is young, naieve and ignorant of WHAT HE SHOULD KNOW OR IS EXPECTED TO KNOW
You know how millennials are.young, dumb, entitled, lazy yet they always think they're smarter than king Solomon.those are what characterize indomie generation
Then again you know indomie is just 2 minutes?,they want to do/have everything fast without taking the patience to go through the process and learn
Bottom line sha is that anyone that has childish behaviour or displays little knowledge of history and it shows is what they call indomie generation.for example if I am discussing with a friend and I say I enjoy the music syncro system and millennials interject and say who sang syncro system or who sang redemption song, or doesn't know that once upon a time in Nigerian history MTN SIM or mobile phones were only used by the elites and mercedes Benz were only used by big boys or rich men's kids to woo girls on campus.i'Il quickly know this one is an indomie generation child
One of the indomie generation child is below me.he just proved my point aptly of the reasoning and characteristics of an indomie generation
And yes the society was better then because we could leave our kids with neighbors and go to the market without fear of anything.anyone that tries it now,na sorry be him name,we could close our doors without padlocking or fencing it yet nobody will steal our stuffs
We could buy stuffs from market women and drop the money on the wares and whenever the owner of the product comes she will pick her money because people lived with CONTENTMENT AND MODESTY
Those days you could take 100 naira to the market and stock up your kitchen to the brim because food was cheap.eggs were 10 Naira, small coke was 15 Naira and the big one was 25 naira
With 30naira you can enter molue from mile 2 to festac
Festac was a peaceful, tranquil and safe haven before it became a den of pickpockets, armed robbers, kidnappers and Yahoo boys. you can go to a relaxation joint with just 500 naira and buy drinks and pepper soup to your satisfaction even as late as 2am and you are safe.if you walk around festac by 11.54 you will be sorry for yourself.infact by 7pm shop owners are closing when it was even at that time faaji was getting started
Never did I know festac will deteriorate to the level it is now
Those days you will beg, stalk and write several letters before you can manage to see a woman's cleavage.female nudity was rare but now you can meet a girl in tfc,buy her meat pie and in the twinkle of an eye you have bleeped her without much effort
Now men don't have to leave their house before they order for vagina online and the vagina will be brought to their doorsteps with just online booking
Millennials,I hope you can now understand why the older generation are irritated with your ways and lifestyle of how you do your things.not that the older generation were saints or perfect but they do things with tact and discretion.now no single taste again
We also went to night club.they call one of the night clubs 11.45.i don't know whether it's still being operated? Even in the club they were sexy in our own standard of sexy then o but not naked or in colourful rags and bogus wigs and heinous make-up
Those days you could put rice of 20naira and egg 10naira into the flask of a child to school but now it is indomie they put in their food flask to school
You need to watch music videos of the 80s and 90s then compare it with the olamides, davido, dammy Krane, tiwa savage etc, then you'll understand my point and the level of deterioration
Even club girls those days had to be begged for several months or sometimes years to see the colour of her pant but these days even church girls,to enter her pant no go reach 2weeks
Then by 10pm TV station closed.it was just nta we had it will show different colours of lines before it closes and the TV shows were edifying not the ones kids cannot even watch.millenials don't even know the difference between family soap operas/family drama and soft porn
All our own entertainment didn't pass
Everyday people Family circle Super story Passion Second chance Gardner's daughter Secret of the sand And nta news.but now go to MTV naked video vixens, trace, naked women, everywhere nudity and sex
Also teenagers getting pregnant was a serious abomination, they were ostracized and the parents shamed so parents really monitored their kids till they got to university.its not like now ss2 boy will be fucking jss3 girl inside the school toilet or at the back of principals office
Meanwhile the kid below me makes me laugh
If you want to recreate the old times, you can go and buy egg for 10 Naira or tell conductor you are going to mile two from agboju bustop.when you get into the bus, give him 30 naira and come back and tell me your experience
You can go to idumota and buy 6yards of original hollandise material for 1500 naira You can do night party in ikorodu and stay there with your friends throughout the night, them come back to share your experiences
You can spend 3 thousand naira to do a big parlour birthday party with your friends Take your kids to amusement park in Ikeja and buy candy floss for them 150 naira
Go to the saloon and do washing and setting for 150 naira
You can enter a cab from mile2 to idumota for 2 thousand naira
You can make Sunday rice and stew for 200naira that will feed the entire family and church visitors
You can buy expression attachment for 350naira and braid it for 700 naira You can buy chewing gum for 3 ....2 naira,50kobo
You can buy pink oil for 70naira Talking about music, the millennials have zero taste , power, substance and lyrics when it comes to music.nothing to gain, inspire or provoke deep thoughts from music like back in the days.their song no pass your bombom is driving me crazy, idi Araba, epon todun ,o'ndomilataro komajekinsun.
No let me open Una Yash finish o
That's just a taste of the iceberg,no put hand for my mouth o
If they can make it 6weeks prior to delivery, they qualify.
stevodot22: All these our celebrities wey go get belle for naija come run go USA go deliver, I hope say u guys dey read this. Dem come turn my beautiful naija to fu*king ground only to go get citizenship for their children
