You are welcome to the DIY thread. First use this to check you crs score http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.aspPrepare well, register and write IELTS (General) and aim for LSRW 8777 Then evaluate your highest degree alone (Masters, Bsc or HND+ND) Try and read page 0 part 3 PuntGenius: Hi everyone, I just got to know about the express entry, I am a civil engineering graduate of OAU ife, graduated with a second class upper, I have over four years experience as a civil engineer and I am registered with COREN and NSE. I am single and will be 30 by November, pls what are my chances for the program? Thanks |

Did you mistakenly type the bolddokxavi: Looks very bright. You can use the CRS tool to check. Evaluate your degree via WES. Get a band 6 ielts score. And start now. |

Please I would like to confirm if IELTS is a requirement to get a job in Canada, in other words, do the employers ask to see your IELTS result.

Yes, You can continue the process from USA. You dont have to come back to Nigeria for anything, its only PCC that you would need from Nigeria post ITA, of which someone can get it for you. Smile4mee01: Please any advice re gating this.

Why dont you share the discrepancies with hubbies NOC so people here can proffer suitable NOC since he has gotten ITA already? What is Ogas job description and which one did he pick. Madam, its cheaper to resolve the NOC issue and gather documents and submit, so you start counting down to PPR, rather than gifting BC 68k for IELTS...+..waiting for 13days. Nabeelah2016: Hello people,
Please I need someone to please help with this.
Is acceptable (by CIC) for my husband and I to put in 2 seperate applications into the express entry pool as we are both qualified.
The reason i am asking is this - My husband has already received ITA and we are in the process of submitting. However we have some concern about his application particularly around the NOC and in order not to put our eggs in one basket, i want to retake my IELTS and hopefully get my 8 in listening and enter the pool as principal applicant as well.
Can we do this? |

How Words are combined together infers its meaning. She could still have passed across her message without those belittling remarks. I keep wondering what you mean by sentiments, when its obvious that about 5 persons here (Primary contributors of this thread) has vetted same procedure for obtaining TRF numbers and no one has found it offensive apart from her. Canadianfly: How in the world did you get derogatory and insulting from that post?
Nigerians sha. We attach sentiments to every damn thing. All I she is she explaining how she believes one can formulate TRF number. You now brought his history into the mix and twisted it to mean that she's insulting him? Lol very special |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by sunvick: 10:45pm On Dec 27, 2017 |
It will be better you take down that post as it is sounds so disparaging to say the least. What do you even mean? All TRF details are combination of "data" sent to your email prior to your writing the ielts exam. I guess British Council invokes all the TRF written on test results and does not formulate it too!!!bbaby84: You chose to see it as an insult.
I wouldn't have had a clue as to how to formulate the number unless I had the experience. Now I can and he can too. My point is we shouldn't encourage people to formulate numbers just because we can. Abeg I rest my case on this matter.
Anyone can do as they please. |

That was not necessary, sounds so derogatory and insulting to say to someone. That people share their experiences here is no reason for you to use against them or deride them for whatever reason. Other people draw strength from these experiences. Watch what you say!!! bbaby84: I said in my opinion. However, the fact that you did it still doesn't make it right. The only reason you knew how to generate the number was because you had multiple TRFs. Please let us encourage people to do things the right way. |

CIC website provides the official information guide for all visa application processes. Why dont you get yours 1st prior to inviting anyone. My 2 cents SV In addition to the questions below, after getting PPR how easy or hard is it to invite an unmarried female friend to live with you in Canada. i know you can always help someone with an invitation letter for a visit visa but i guess if she's going to be living permanently with you then the procedure must be different, I've applied as single but would want to invite someone to stay with me once i settle down.
I've searched the threads but can't seem to see the answer. All the questions ive seen are all focused on married folks but am not planning on getting married before i get to Canada. |

Even doctors who make over $200,000 don't consider themselves rich. You obviously don't understand tha American system, Your net pay after tax with sure salary should be around $115,000. Your rent or mortgage will take 30% of your net pay. Don't let me break down the rest for you and you will find out that's nothing in 2017 America. Just new here but the yada yada talk is too much. People are restricted by their limited knowledge hence their views are narrow and self absorbing. I know of someone(Nigerian) earning $90usd per hour which is about $14400/month. Also know someone hitting $120k/Year. TUBLEZ: U r addicted to negative news na, so am not surprised. When he said his friend earns 1600 per month u believed him because that's is the kind of news u love now let's look at it this way he said his friend work & 10 per hour so tell me how many hours work does his friend do per day to earn 1600 in a month that's laziness. Even if he doesn't wants to works himself out and do only 8hrs a day which is the normal working hour he's pay is still over 2k in a month now imagine real hustlers who does 16-18hrs per day that's abt 4-5k in a month so to u everything is wire wire? And again the boys doing wire wire in Yankee how do they see money to collect from Americans since Americans don't even hv $500 in their savings? |

The score does not go down, it will rather remain as it is on remark. However, it has been advised here that its better you circle the four components as a change in one of the components will guarantee you a refund. All the best as you join the Patience Crew. SV Wiseoldman: I have a question, I want to ask for a remark of my IELTS. What is the probability of the band score going even lower after a remark. Or is there a general rule of the band score remaining the same or going higher.

Undiluted truth. A Word they say is enough for the wise Bsbabe: Even though we understand your plight, what you’re asking is completely criminal and will earn you a ban so gbogboro that you will never be able to step out of your home state again. Please don’t attempt it. There are people here who are above 40 years old and have sought other means e.g. a Provincial nomination to boost their chances when all else fails. And this is even when they have maxed out all their scores on IELTS. Please get back to your IELTS study and practice. A few sleepless nights in order to ace an IELTS exam is way better than long lonely nights in a ‘PHCNless’ society if indeed that’s the society you are trying to escape from.
A word is enough for the wise. I beg you, don’t do it. |
