Even State nomination bro is not even guaranteed. NSW said it better "See State Nomination as a possibility and not a guarantee" I laughed when I read that part!!! So @Springyng. If you get ITA then PR its a guarantee. Alphadoor: State nomination Leads to ITA (Invitation to Apply)
ITA leads to VISA GRANT |

I decided to migrate to Australia, now I wanna know if I could stand a chance applying via the PR rout, I had bsc in Aerospace Engineering, no work experience... Finished Nysc late last year, Ielts result was band 6.0, tho I wouldn't mind taking again. Please Gurus based on these infos would you advise to migrate via PR route or Academics? Thanks. |

No shits bro.I have already applied hoping I get nominated ohh. Vinsmuft: If that's the case, quickly submit another EOI for 190 on NSW. Maybe that one fit click on time. But make sure you have all documents and application fee ready as NSW will only give you two weeks to apply for nomination if they invite you. No dulling bros. |

I nominated System Analyst, and it has been on pro-rota. The worst part is that the date of effect is not even moving an inch. Vinsmuft: Depends on your profession and the state nominating you. The best thing is to have as much points as possible.
All the best Bnimz: NSW nomination is not only by points.. Na mostly by occupation. 55 pointers get nominated in some occupations while 75 pointers dey wait for months in others... |

Thanks for the insight Buddy. Which means us with 55 points will be waiting along time!!!! Vinsmuft: I submitted EOI for NSW sometime in January and got an ITA less than two weeks later. Had to bust it though to wait for my 189 ITA |

It would be best you look at the ANZCO code and see which job description matches his job role. This will help better define the appropriate choice of occupation that is more suitable for him. Rimdans: Hi everyone I'm new here and I've read through from page one. However I've not seen a case similar to mine. I and my family are hoping to relocate with my husband being the principal applicant. I've checked and I see his occupation -system analyst is on the SOL and CSOL list. We want to apply through the 189 route. However, here is where we are confused. My hubby for the past 3 years has been a lecturer in the computer science department in a university here. Before that,he was the head of the Management information systems (MIS) for about 5 years plus before he made the switch to being an academic staff. My question is would this switch work for us or against us? Either during assessment or applying for the visa, Seeing as he's lecturing now and not practicing?please I'll appreciate any assistance I can get. |

Unfortunately bro your BSc qualification would not scale through ACS assessment. And your certifications is not acceptable by ACS. orjiobi007: Good day all,
i am extremely happy to be part of the forum, please i will be needing the kind assistance of this forum.
i have a degree in international relations from the university of Benin and also over 4 years experience as a systems analyst, can i go ahead and send in my documents for assessment by ACS (the assessing body for my nominated skill) and hope for a positive outcome? someone told me since my degree falls outside my area of work experience, i might not have a successful one. how true is this please?
i have certifications in CISCO (CCNA), ORACLE (OCP) and ITIL
thanks for your kind assistance |

Note that ACS calculates work experience by month and not year. If you say you graduated 2011 (maybe Sep, Oct or Dec), it can be assumed you started working at a professional level from Jan 2012. That means you have total of 5 years work experience and not 6years which equates to 5points. i.e Jan/2012 to Jan/2017 = 5years which 5points What month did you graduate in 2011 and what month did you commence you professional job? 4realisreal: Age- 37yrs - 25pts Qualification- BSc.Statistics wth Comp. Sc. 15pts Job Experience - from 2007 to 2017 but due to ACS deduction if I am correct, they are likely to remove 4 yrs prior to my degree. I graduated 2011. That gives me 6 yrs - 10 pts PTE - 0pts So that gives 50 pts total. |

Don't have idea on dorm account.
For document certification, I did mine at Lagos state High court VI, located behind TBS. Walk into the court compound and ask for office where documents are certified, when I did mine late last year 2016 its between #100-200 max. Yes, just make photocopy of your documents (yes...black and white) |

You are good to go with the below documents. Professional certification is accepted by ACS but not a requirement for assessment. Note that the job responsibilities in your reference letter has to match the job description in the ANZSCO guide. skylar2020: pls do I need to write any professional exam for ACS and are these just wat I need for Acs evaluation
transcripts bsc statement or results employment proofs including payslips n tax records cv/resume reference international passport data page passport pls are there any other doc required thnks |

Why dont you try and re-take the English exam. Getting 7.0 on each band gives you ten points. How did you get to 55 without English test, that sound strange. Adekunley1: Good day to everyone in the house, I am a civil Engineer by profession I have 55 pts in point test without ielts, but am having 5.5 in ielts, please advise on any visa type i can apply for that take my ielts result in australia. Does she really need to inform him about intimacy gadgets? Notifying him of getting a toy will kill his ego and the (I'm not man enough line will always suffice). I think she should go ahead and get a Love Machine to help herself pending when they agree to see a therapist which will also remove her mind from cheating. You stayed a virgin before marriage and even in the marriage you are still sex starved. Op, you can as well use your hand to help yourself. Life is to short to suffer in a sexless marriage. Abiagirl777: Gracetie,I understand how you feel .I myself does not joke with sex so if you aren't satisfied, tell him you want to get intimacy gadgets to help him or use his hands on you. it is only unmarried boys n girls in this section that'd always open their mouth to always blame the woman when such issues come up. |

@ buzu84 In addition to what bolaobby stated, if your Boss can help you with a reference letter with the companyletter head if available, it will also be very helpful.
Certifying your documents should be around #100 - 200 per page (in High court as stated above).
Is your highest degree Msc or Bsc or both (Note: if you have both degrees, you will have to certify and upload the BSc and Msc transcripts too).
Buh, honestly bro..ACS is pretty straight forward. With your Computer Science degree and work experience you are good to go man!! |

For him to be eligible for assessment by ACS, he is required to have minimum 1 year full time work experience before he applies for assessment. Unfortunately CCNA is no acceptable by ACS but if he can get his CCNP as he is closing up to meet the 1 year work experience requiement, he will be good to go. He would also have to nominate an occupation that is closely related to his present job role. The assessment is 500AUD just to add too. Bnimz: Quick question ACS guys.. I have a friend who has a Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering... And a CCNA certification, currently working on CCNP.. Work experience is less than one year though... Can he get a positive assessment from ACS? I don't want to tell him anything about this process and raise his hopes if he can't make it... |
