HealthRe: Paramedics: The Missing Link In The Nigerian Health Sector by sunvick: 1:03pm On Jan 02, 2017
Can a free paramedic system be possible in our present day Nigeria?

Will Nigerians be willing to pay little for home paramedic responders?
FamilyRe: My Sister Needs Help ASAP!! by sunvick: 6:07am On Jan 02, 2017
Uncles and cousins- which means not one ohh, and it might have occurred couple of times.
Trade carefully with the perpetrators as you do not have any evidence for now prosecute them and give them no reason to be suspect what you are planning.
Like the poster above suggested, get her a professional help 1st and they might perhaps provide you with professional advice on how to take up the matter.

FamilyRe: Self Control by sunvick: 4:23pm On Dec 31, 2016
You are welcomed madmozelle!!!

Lady39:
Thank u much for pointing that out. I'm glad u did that cause sex was the furthest thing from my mind when I created this post.
FamilyRe: Self Control by sunvick: 10:30am On Dec 31, 2016
I get your point now, just that you missed putting it in context in your 1st post thereby misleading people into thinking that it was about sex alone.

Lady39:
I was actually speaking about my "mouth" at the moment I wrote that. I was trying to keep from just losing it. It's like the Lord just stopped my mouth. It's an area where I'm trying to get the victory..and I will.
Self-control covers many areas such as appetite, sexual appetite within the context of
marriage, keeping the mouth shut even when one wants to retaliate, not being covetous to the extent that one becomes consumed by it, not having to buy everything just because one can. There's no such thing as self-control with lying & robbery etc. lol. It's just best not to do those two things at all.
FamilyRe: Self Control by sunvick: 5:56pm On Dec 30, 2016
@op
Self control in what context, stealing, murder, robbery, lieing, or sexhuh?

Abi is it only regarding sex that we should cultivate self control as a virtuehuh
As the people above have already classified it under sex!

Guy, if truly you got this score without preparation, oga Bimz has just said the qualifying word for it.
Just a day or two of preparation and you are good to go.

Search for E2langauge in youtube or their official website e2language.com.

dreeyy:
I wrote my PTE yestarday I think I have to re-write. Though I wont say the result is that very bad considering the fact that I went into the exam hall without a minute of preparation. Please guys kindly share the materials with me at adeojo.bo@yahoo.com.

FamilyRe: What Did The Year 2016 Teach You? by sunvick: 4:22pm On Dec 29, 2016
2016 taught me couple of lessons.

1. Do not put all your Trust in man/woman, but God
2. Do not rely on anyone for your happiness, be your own happiness
3. Stand in love and not fall in love
4. Always plan ahead and Prepare for the best but expect the worst.
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by sunvick: 9:09pm On Dec 27, 2016
@ damoche64
I get your point. I think Jamson has proferred a better option to that effect. Try and carry out the application one off, its possible. you can do it chief.

[quote author=damoche64 post=52310871]@ Sunvick, I am not thinking of making any false or give inaccurate info. but there must a way to exclude family 4 now. Let me break it down, i will spend minimum of 7200 4 visa only & some other expenses is still there. I need 2 get the cost right before starting the process.
Anyway thanks for your advice.
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by sunvick: 8:12pm On Dec 27, 2016
Chief it will be best you present original documents and fill out accurate information to avoid complicating issues for yourself in the near future.

Firstly, its not possible to claim experience point with DIPB while your assessment result will indicate no work experience, moreover, the assessment result from EA will be uploaded on DIPB portal.
You just cant lie about. Try and save your self from been disqualified or even banned completely.
If you apply as single person now and get the visa, you will still be caught up when you will want to invite your wife over, giving the inconsistent dates e.g ( date in marriage cert, date you made your DIPB application, personal info saying you are single while you were married).
DIPB can cancel already issued PR on the basis of providing false information.
Just my 2 centimeter opinion.
Other Oga's will provide better info.

damoche64:
Hi Ogas in d house, Av been reading d thread 4 sometimes now & I av d following questions. Is it possible not to assess experience with EA but claim d experience point with DIPB & can someone apply as single while married specifically just because of d cost of visa fee & travelling arrangement or any other conditions? Will be glad if references are provided 2 support urs advice.

Expecting input from experience ogas Bnimz, Jamson Bellong and others.
Thanks

FamilyRe: What Are Your fears Of Getting Married Or Being Married? Singles ONLY by sunvick: 12:12pm On Dec 24, 2016
Fear of marrying the wrong woman. Fear of been in a loveless marriage.
Fear of the "lady faking it till she makes it"
Fear of a lady showing her BEST attitude during courtship and bringing out the REST in marriage.

Marriage should be enjoyed and not endured.

PoliticsRe: Protest Against Wike In Abuja For Killing Of Police Officers In Rivers Rerun by sunvick: 2:06pm On Dec 20, 2016
That's politics for you. No one can say categorically who did the killing. Buh APC protesting ahead of Wike will make him look like the master mind. After this protest, most gullible people will assume that Wike did.

My heart goes out to all the family that have lost their loved ones.
Foreign AffairsRe: Russian Ambassador To Turkey Assassinated By Turkish Policeman In Ankara by sunvick: 8:54am On Dec 20, 2016
If Obama is still the president, it very likely US will join Nato. Buh Putin might wait until after Trump is sworn in, cos I doubt Trump will wink his eyes to support Nato on that. That man is just unpredictable. I strongly doubt Putin will open attack Turkey so as not to start a war with Nato. This assasination wont be swept under the carpet that I'm sure of.
ayindejimmy:
That is the benefits of having War Treaties.

Syria has a War Treaty with Russia, so everything Russia is doing in Syria is legal.
The US does not have any War Treaty with Syria.
I know the US has with Saudi Arabia.
So for the US to come into Syria it'll need the full backing of the United Nations Security Council which Russia and China vehemently refused to give.

When Turkey shot down a Russia war plane, it has legal reason to because, Turkey claimed, it was in his airspace. Even I, believe the measure Turkey took was extreme and provocative - but that's not my business.

Now, if Russian dares to sponsor insurgency in Turkey the US and Nato will do exactly what Russia is doing in Syria now. Cos they're obliged to
Foreign AffairsRe: Russian Ambassador To Turkey Assassinated By Turkish Policeman In Ankara by sunvick: 8:30am On Dec 20, 2016
I hope it does not degenerate to war though.
Dont forget the role US played in the ongoing Syrian crisis, they trained and armed the opposition to rise and fight against the govt with the hope of overthrowing Assad. Buh Putin backed him thats why his still on sit.

Russia I suspect might take this approach, mobilize and arm those guys that plotted the failed coup which will elicit an uprising of which nato can only watch from standby.
ayindejimmy:
Nato does not have a Treaty with Russia.
By having one with Turkey, which has the largest army in Nato, Nato is oblige to support Turkey wherever and whenever.

Moreover, let's not even think in the line of war, because both parties can't afford it.
Foreign AffairsRe: Russian Ambassador To Turkey Assassinated By Turkish Policeman In Ankara by sunvick: 8:08am On Dec 20, 2016
Ohh as if you dont know Erdrogan is having serious issues with Turkey for forming allies with Russia. NATO wont support Turkey on this.
ayindejimmy:
He must be ready to have Nato too... And that may mean the US

Hope he won't choke on it
Foreign AffairsRe: Russian Ambassador To Turkey Is Shot Dead. 'We Die In Aleppo, You Die Here'. by sunvick: 8:06am On Dec 20, 2016
Thats true. Watch and see how Turkish crisis might start. Those guys that plotted a failed coup will be mobilized now to fight against the govt over the arrest of all coup plotter. Gradually it will start deteriorating to using arms to kill and fight against govt.
Its usually the American way of invading a country.
Appleyard:
grin... Common... Turkey is as much a victim as Russia is in this whole settings.. Right now, tourism to Turkey is slowing down due to the incessant bombings in the country. And now that an ambassador had been killed, its going to get a bit worse as people and businesses will continue to feel unsafe in that country.
Foreign AffairsRe: Russian Ambassador To Turkey Is Shot Dead. 'We Die In Aleppo, You Die Here'. by sunvick: 10:41pm On Dec 19, 2016
Putin will definitely mobilize his KGB and all the militia on red alert.

I'm sure the Turkish ambassador to Russia must have fled Moscow by now.

On the morning of 13th EA outcome dropped positive for Electronics engineer. I then went for PTE same day and today, 17th, the result is out..L/S/R/W: 90/81/89/90....It all feels good!!......60 points in the bag...EOI already submitted... ITA loading.....
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by sunvick: 9:27pm On Dec 15, 2016
Saw it on Canada thread and thought I share.

Australia
Pros
1. POF not required
2. Age does not drop points significantly
3. BSc and Msc. get the same point
4. It takes roughly about 1 month to get PPR after AOR
5. You can get ITA with zero work experience (especially for Engineers)
6. It favours those with high number of years of work experience
7. It favours Engineers as most Engineers have their job code under SOL List and CSOL list and Engineer Australia can be very fast to evaluate qualifications
8. You can decide to write PTE instead of IELTS. People say PTE is easier

Cons
1. Application fee is about 3 times that of Canada
2. You will not only evaluate your certificate, you will have to evaluate your work experience as well if you plan to claim points for work experience
3. No of years of work experience are often reduced after evaluation
4. It can take ages to get work experience evaluated
5. You only get points at all if you have 3 or more years of work experience
6. You need all 7s in IELTS to get 10 points for language and all 8s to get 20 points
7. if your occupation is not under SOL list or CSOL list, it is nearly impossible to get PR
8. It is nearly impossible for Medical doctors, lawyers, etc for to get PR as they will need to pass their professional exams first before applying
9. Work experience must be in the same NOC as your academic qualification for it to count.

Canada
Pros
1. Application fee is reasonable
2. You do not need to evaluate work experience
3. Good for Medical doctors and others in regulated professions
3. You just need to target 8.5,8,7.5 and 7.5 in LRSW
4. There is no SOL/CSOL List. You will qualify once your NOC code is under 0,A or B
5. Work experience does not have to be in the same NOC as your academic qualification for it to count.
6. You just need 3 year work experience for you to get maximum score under work experience

Cons
1. POF is required
2. Without MSc or a "professional" qualification, you will have to rely on PNP to get above 450
3. PNP is very difficult to get
4. Age has a huge impact on your score
5. Work experience does not count after 3 years
6. It takes about 6 months after AOR to get PPR.
7. You will need the combination of this 3 to get above 450: good IELTS score, 3 year work experience, MSc/2 or more qualifications/regulated professions

Copied from Canada thread.
