Naija universities! We pride ourselves as being very difficult to succeed in but my question is: is hoarding of points a global best practice? I would say no. Sometimes I wonder where they got the idea of points hoarding. I don't blame the students and graduates for marks and points hoarding since its the lecturers that are culprits, however I blame them for being so comfortable with the idea and taking it as best practice. How can you challenge something you endorse? In foreign institutions, when students deserve points, they get points and there's no issue of 'only the lecturer gets an A in this course.' I think the problem lies in our mindset that we must always struggle/hustle to succeed in life which is wrong. So never slag off that brother in a private university that did great cos it only exposes our penchant for the above mindset which I described.

peziz: I and my boyfriend decided to end our 3yr old relationship today. When he called this morning and told me he has been thinking about the christainity and islamic factor which we see as a barrier in other for us to be together, he decided to call it quits with me, and i accepted even though it hurts badly and i still sob as i type this. All the same i still think it could be for the best as i don't intend staying in a relationship that long again without been sure of the outcome. He was so good to me and i hope to get someone as great as he was after my healing process is over.

It all depends on the person doing the work. Most of the time when it is just done once, it's kool doing it free. But when it becomes a business agreement, there's nothing bad in making some profit.

if he/she is cheating on u, it might not always be easy to know. Some ppl do that without hurting their partners.

just like a man's life is in his blood, blood oaths are very delicate decisions, and should not just be taken anyhow. It could have been the blood oath, , it could have been a serious illness, not related to the oath.

nice topic, sure the way of escape is to try ur best to live a sin free life. As for the rapture, and anti-christ stuff, people with eyes can see what is going on in the world today. Wars and all that have been foretold in the Bible; the anti-christ has also been foretold. The funny thing is that after these things happen, some people would not still believe in the Bible.

of course there is life after death. If u know ur Bible well, u will know that there is everlasting life for those who accept Christ, and are found worthy when He comes. For those who reject Him, there is going to be eternal doom in the Lake of fire, where there's going to be gnashing of teeth! U don't want to imagine being there.

One thing for sure, if u r using physical means to find ur origin and how u were created, its a futile effort and a complete waste of time. There are facts to prove that there is a God!!! Tell me, how do miracles happen? There are people who have died and have returned to life, they share experiences of their encounter with God, what proof does science have to give concerning this? The Bible is another evidence. If u feel its just a book, u r deceiving urself. False prophets were spoken of in the Bible, and the fufilment is being witnessed by the world today. Is it still just a book? I hope u will not live to regret ur decision after the rapture. Ppl like we Christians would have gone by His grace,, and it would be left 4 u who refused to believe to feeel remorse on nairaland. U still have a chance!

As far as im concerned, i feel the right age is when she is ready to handle things pertaining to marriage. A lot of things should be considered, as age does not necessarily mean maturity. Also, the character of the ppl in question also matters. Some of the gurls who eventually end up pregnant from such 'early' relationships would have felt they could control themselves, but hormones are very powerful!

One major reason for the fraudulent nature of some Nigerians is the nature of our society. In Nigeria today, nobody is ready to know how u got ur wealth, once u r wealthy, almost everyone gets to reckon with u.

Some ppl are also not ready to work hard. Many ppl want to make quick money, regardless of how wrong, , or even inhuman the means is. Some people's lives are at risk at the expense of the greed and laziness of others.

Christianity is a way of life, and not religion, not all that is accepted by the Christian faith is accepted by Islam. When there is clash of these two, there would definitely be problems, based on religious basis in the family. I don't think it can work.
