Had it being they had g0ne with Rayner 4 GL 2011, the m0vie could've been successful.

i prefer Gardner over Hal. To me Gardner is like Vin diesel in fast and furious. If it were the Hal portrayed in GL 2011 n0t the actor though i would've l0ved the character. Talking about richness in character, what makes you say so? They could literally give kyle Rayner Jordan's st0ries like they did Wally west in JL cart0on.

I mean his character fits into various situations. He can be funny when he needs to, serious when needed, his decision making is very logical...which is why the guardians trust and rely on him for special purposes. When you go through his different stories (blackest night, darkseid wars, even in injustice) you'll see what I mean. The only reason DC would use someone else as the main GL in the cinematic universe is if they just want to satisfy some fans of the other characters.
I agree Kyle can fit into those stories, but kyle is not well known. Hal is the most popular GL.
You know, we could have gotten a John Stewart Justice League but it was botched. Common was supposed to play John.
I would love to see how Gardner will be portrayed in live action though. I'm thinking Tom Hardy?

Talking about Green Lanterns Corp, why is it that Guy Gardiner and Hal Jordan never agree? They are always fighting in most of the animated series I've watched. In my opinion, Hal is the most reckless of all GLs protecting the Earth Sector. This seems to be the root cause of his bickering with Guy. Guy is a much more practical GL, so is John Stewart.

I believe the reckless award definitely goes to Guy Gardner. Practical, maybe. But the guy get craze. Even John doesn't like Guy. Plus he's even the leader of the red lanterns now...to show how his character is portrayed.
I see you guys just hate Hal sha. To me, John is the most grounded, but Hal is the richest character of them all. Kyle is the cool dude with cool moves. They all have their uniqueness.

I won't argue there. Depends on the interpretation of the writer and the actor though. But the thing is the best GL stories are the ones with Hal...well, kyle reyner has cool stories too.

This has nothing to do with liking a Hal or not. I really like John too, but we all know Hal will be the GL of the justice league in this universe. They've made it clear already.
Besides, the fact that marvel has a head start in its cinematic universe doesn't mean dc shouldn't stay true to its comic stories and characters.

I disagree. Perhaps your view of Jordan is influenced by the animations based on the new 52 reboot. Hal is the greatest green lantern of all time, the most honourable.

seriously, i'll prefer John. U kn0w why? He'll be the military man and strategist in the justice league. With John Stewart in the league, the U. S army can lay calm seeing as one of their own is there. And again, d0n't forget we are going to be having Billy Bats0n/Shazam in the league also. A c0medic character so its going to be 3 c0mic guys, 4 if u add cyborg against 3 serious dudes. The JL animated show w0rked cos they made flash the c0mic relief and the rest serious. A team where every0ne jokes w0n't be taken seriously by people, Avengers 4 example. Ironic as the name calls 4 vengeance itself. Thats why i love the fast n furious films. We had tyrese the jokster and the rest with tight faces. Paul walker's character was m0re of a sarcastic guy.

Now that you mention Billy, I doubt they'll portray the humorous side of Hal. But shazam won't be showing up till later in the time line. Like I said, Hal is serious when he needs to be. While I would love to see a live action John Stewart, I just don't see DC using anyone other than their classic character as the main GL in this universe. Plus John will definitely be a major character in GLC movie.

We can't afford to have two comedians as Superheroes I.e. Hal Jordan and Barry Allen. Those two characters aren't always serious in many movies I've seen them. I prefer John Stewart as the Justice league GL anytime.

John Stewart is great, I agree. But we have enough serious guys in the league already. Plus, Hal is serious when he needs to be. I don't think DC would make John the main GL in their cinematic world.

By the way, I love Damien's character development in the batman animation movies so far. Batman: Bad Blood sealed it.

Eh doubt it is Hal. Hal sucked in n the last movie and DC will want to create a distinction between both movies. Also I think the title for the movie is Green Lantern Corps which the comic title features John Stewart. Also take into consideration John is pretty popular from the JL cartoon

The cartoon made Jon popular. But when you talk green lantern, first thought is Hal.
It doesn't matter how the first movie went. This is a different movie. There are no links.

Since the DCEU is based largely on the new 52, it will most likely be Hal Jordan.

No Bro, Injustice: Gods among us had two justice league from alternate universes. Superman was the chief councillor in one of those timelines and very evil. The other Superman was just normal. In fact, the two supermen fought towards the end of the game!

That game has two justice leagues from two alternate realities. In one of this alternate reality, Superman was very evil and of course, the villain. Sorry for the mix up...lol!

It seems, to me, that the DC Universe has enough materials to produce more movies for another 30 years. This is where they presumably beat Marvel comics.

You're mixing them up. The one with two justice leagues is 'crisis on two earths'. Injustice: Gods among us has just one superman and he's evil.

Please Thanos is nothing like DS, if anything, he is above him. And how can you say you aren't impressed when literally everything that has happened from Avengers 1 is because of him. HE will still get the stones back, that's the entire basis of Infinity Wars, him having the infinity gauntlet. Thanos is the "All according to the plan" Kinda guy. Think Aizen, but somebody 10,000X smarter and more intelligent.

Thanos was actually a Darkseid copy, or better still, there was a darkseid before there was a Thanos. Both characters are great in their own ways.

Fantastic 4 original and reboot? And Thanos doesn't need to do much, he just needs to show himself and he is already a better villain that all the rest.(Barring the fact that all that has been happening in the MCU since avengers is because of him.)

Fantastic 4 isn't part of the MCU. As for Thanos, I'm talking about the character interpretation not the role. Ultron is a formidable villain but the MCU didn't do much justice to the character. We haven't seen much of Thanos to decide how awesome a character his interpretation will be. I do hope he's the best.

1.Dr Strange- so many things about it i like
; it has less hype around it for one, so the chances i'll be disappointed with it is less

4.Captain America: Civil War
This and BvS have me saturated. I can't be hyped anymore i mean i'm just tired, i give up. The films should just come out already. Superheroes fighting one another..meh. Next!

The hype on this movie has been the face off between the heroes. I'm guessing Kevin feigie has some trick up his sleeves. There will be a lot more than people expect.
For some reason, I'm thinking of the return of the red skull. Wouldn't that be awesome? MCU's best villain after loki in my opinion. I want to see him again.

5.Batman vs Superman:Dawn of Justice
More superheroes fighting one another or maybe it's just Batman vs Superman, like small scale civil war, domestic violence typa thing

Well, what more can I say? The movie with the best trailer of the year. The first time we'll see supes and batsy boy together on the big screen.

For me, I will chose Civil War before Dawn of Justice but that's because it serves as a preview (or one of the previews) for the Infinity Wars, like to gauge their strengths ( the super heros I mean). Then Dawn of Justice ( though I would have preferred if they used the Batman/Superman combo that Bruce Wayne came to metropolis and that involves Joker and Lex, not this Batman Vs Superman thingy).

After those two I will pick Suicide Squad ( a movie mainly about villains, catches my fancy. Then Xmen Apocaylse ( just to give Hugh Jackman and the whole Xmen Franchise without any origin story a good bye) then Gambit, Deadpool and Doctor Strange (can't relate with Doctor Strange and Deadpool).

You're right. The lead up to infinity wars is very exciting. Dawn of justice is also a lead up to justice league though.

1. Civil War(HIGHEST HOPES!!!) + This is where things really get down before my all to favorite character Thanos the mad titan comes in and messes shit up. I just hope by the time infinity wars 2 comes, they don't beat him, because c'mon! we know the avengers can never beat him. The guys plays with people like silver surfer who in his own right is basically a mini god that can solo the avengers line up.

2. Doctor Strange(HIGH HOPES) + I don't really care for the good doctor and sorcerer supreme, i care for Dormammu and Umar!!!!!!!! I hope they don't make him be the bad guy in a crappy cameo appearance(Dr. Strange animation) like way, i want to the the CGI that will be used to do the powerful ruler of the dark dimension.

3. Dawn of justice(HIGH HOPES) + This is where i get to see the IDFWU attitude of new 52 superman(I hope) and not some dude that would give a 5 minutes long monologue before throwing a few punches. i have hopes for this.


4. Deadpool(HIGH HOPES) + @OP how can you hate on Wade Wilson? He is just to awesome, he is everything wolverine isn't and more!!!! I can't wait for the movie, sarcasm, good fight scenes, if possible(But i doubt) bloody gore, it'll be lovely.


5. Suicide Squad(MILD HOPES) + Who doesn't like a team of dispensable super killers going to hunt some poor sod down? Lol, well, i have mild hopes for suicide squad, nothing big, just hope its not boring.


6. Gambit(JUST THERE) + Only thing I'm looking forward to in gambit is sarcasm and destruction. That's all.



7. Xmen apocalypse(NOT MUCH HOPE) + Oh! Xmen, you ruined yourself with that crappy days of future past, so pitiful, out o continuity even with he comics, so pitiful. I just want to see what the first mutant on earth can bring to Xmen in the marvel cinematic universe.





BTW, those talking about the batman vs supes battle, he will use a suit, that's all he can do to fight Clark, he's already gotten his back broken in the comics by supes(i wonder if they will do that in the movie ) so he can't face supes without a suit of Armour.

I learned from justice league doom that batman can kill superman,wonder woman, flash and even john without lifting a finger or throwing a punch(long story), batman is a good fighter no doubt but almost every hero is a good fighter and sometimes i just like to see batman stand out and exercise his innitiative more often especially in the movies
