Bro it will be fine, coming from someone that benefitted from this giveaway with just a single post, I can they you that money121 and despian are not biased in anyway, they give regardless of tribe or religion. If they are moved it won't take a long epistle to get their attention, most times we all act as our spirit directs. I would advice you look for other means to solve your issues, there's another thread by obiwank, you might be lucky over there if you try it out. God will help us all.

A lady visited me recently and spent two days and to be honest I regretted it, it was wasted 48hours for me because I had plenty courses to cover but she colonised my laptop to watch movies. My compound guys felt I was flexing by having a pretty babe around not knowing that reverse was the case

Of course I know that, dating is the least of my problems and I've no problem attracting ladies as well, but he made it seem like I was living in a shithole and it made me upset.

I was on my own chilling jejely when my next door neighbor knocked on my door, he said I wanted movies so I let him into my room reluctantly. I hardly relate with my co tenant's beyond hi hi greeting so I was kinda uncomfortable letting him into my room.

He sat down and had this bewildered look on his face, the next thing I heard was, Bros omo you get mind dey stay inside this kind empty room o, so na ontop this kind flat bed you dey run all these your babes wey dey come see you ehhn....nawao you be badt guy oo. So na ontop this bed that one wey get big nyash dey even lie down with all slay queen shakara. He kept blabbing while I kept silent, I asked him so even if I want to buy a better it should be because of ladies baa, and he said ehhhn now, how you go dey run matters on top this mat. This someone that I gave transport fare to go and meet someone he said was owning him.

He kept quizzing me on how I'm able to attract ladies despite the vaguely furnished room, I went on to tell him that girls are not my problem now. Moreover I'm not dating most of them, I run projects for people so some of them are people I'm working for.

Even though I've developed a tough skin to this kind of negative comments, I was upset though I masked my embarrassment. But why do some guys feel everything must be to impress ladies, I for one don't have time for them and I'm fully focused of sharpening my programming skills in order to get a job before the year runs out so I can renew my rent by January. For someone that was once homeless and slept in lecture halls, this my current place is like a duplex to me, and how I got this place is still a miracle to me.

Hence my question is the room really that bad? I've visited some friends and my room is nothing to write home about. Is it so bad that the guy feels I am not worthy to have a girlfriend just because of it?

Ladies can you date or marry a guy living in this kind of apartment?

I just finished binding of my project work, but my supervisor is insisting that I have to pay a sum of five thousand naira for publication of the work. we are over 30 students under him and he choose only five projects for publication which my own falls under. I'm cash trapped at the moment and can't afford the money.

I want to know if it's compulsory or not so I can know my next line of action because I'm not interested in publishing anything at least not for now.

I hereby proffer my profound gratitude to money121 and despian for their immense help towards my final year project. God will continue to bless protect them as they help the less privileged in the society.

I recently sent an application for a web dev job and the supposed client got back to me, he said he was willing to Pay $1800 for a website(first red flag). I was skeptical because the price I see on most freelance site for a similar job is between $300 to $500. Well I took a leap of faith since no one knows where the saviour will come from.

The next red flag was his insistence on paying through cheque which he kept spelling as check, even after I suggested western Union and other methods, therefore I had to provide a resident in the US that he will send the cheque to. Poor and desperate me started scampering around looking for a US resident since I didn't know any.

I sent the screen shot of the mail to a friend in the UK and he told me bluntly without mincing words not to get involved because its apparently a scam. A Nairalander also helped me to get someone in the US who confirmed it to be a scam.

My question know is where the scam comes in because I don't have shishi to give anybody, and would've backed out immediately I'm asked to pay anything. Or is the US resident the target of the scam??.

Few days ago I sent another application this time on what's app and got the same message word for word and the same sample website only a slight change in the price which was reduced to $1500.

I'm going through that phase now. Mine is even worst than Op as i based in Lagos with high cost of living viz a viz low standard of living. I practically live from hand to mouth.

I got curious how Op was able to keep a relationship with his present condition. We're truly different indeed. I'd easily get carried away having a relationship with my condition. I'm not happy with my present state, having a relationship wouldn't make me happy either
