LaudableXX: I am, o! In fact, that LUC is just the last straw. He increased land surveying charges in Lagos state by over 200% last year, nobody made noise. He followed it up with increase in toll gate fees. People made small noise, and later kept quiet. Now, he has added a 400% increase in LUC. Haba!! Na only im waka come? it will take special grace of God to liberate lagosians from the shackles of their oppressors ,the Yoruba's in Lagos can't do it because of their present way of thinking, they will need help from other right thinking nigerians |

Owamudia: True.
Nevertheless, we Yorubas just had to boot GEJ out as a result of political expediency and the need to preserve our political destiny.
We don't care if the pigs from the yeast mourn GEJ's exit till eternity. The most important thing is that we acted in our best interest. I would have said you are not Yoruba but I met 2 elderly Yoruba men today who should know better, I was ashamed for them because of the hollow argument they were putting forward, in their del elution they extended it to the southwest meaning they have group like them whom they share common thought, it was then I started believing what's been said on nairaland because I can't believe any one in his right sense. will say he will vote buhari especially when he has no cogent reasons to do so. |

nairavsdollars: It seems Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has also been bitten by the APC NEGATIVE CHANGE bug. Or how do you explain the over 200 per cent increase in annual land use charge from N58,000 to N400, 000? Now many landlords across the state are already threatening their tenants with rent increase. I read Jimi Disu's analysis today and i am impressed. Has Ambode forgotten that the election is next year? Lagos is APC conqured territory they can do what they like with the people in fact they see the people only as money making machine, they are always bragging about IGR, which they get from the blood of lagosian ,look at the lekki toll gate increment. if you do a thorough audit ,you will find huge difference in revenue generated and below average projects they are executing ,they are lucky lagosians don't ask questions, in fact they are not looking at their side, they are busy chasing survival.. |

MrPolitics: TBH Atiku may be PDP's best bet for now. He has the money to run a successful campaign, he is just as popular as the likes of PMB, GEJ, OBJ, IBB who are the most popular politicians in the country. He can take fire and he can give it in equal proportion. It's just there's a perception of corruption around him. My findings in the south show that SS and SE are willing to look over that but SW isn't. He isn't very liked in the SW. I honestly don't know the perception the north has about him, but I believe he can help divide Northern votes He is their in law in southwest ,the south west have something in common with him unlike buhari, what did the sw gain from the non corrupt buhari, the tinubu you think will sway votes have been humiliated and demystified. the south west will vote en mass for him, nobody have time for stupid propaganda again |

Does he have the clout?
Does he have records of achievements?
Where is he better than Dakwambo?
He helped bring about the Buhari mistake. He shouldn't benefit from it.
And he's a Tinubu ally. Forget estrangement. That's Nigeria for you buhari truncated democracy, some people fought to bring it back with their blood and sweat only to dash it to buhari on a platter to waste the opportunity same with tambuwal he is part of those that created this mess, just like buhari I won't be surprised if he is a prime beneficiary because this is Nigeria. |

The only time it became scarce was towards the tail end of GEJ tenure when Buhari started claiming that fuel subsidy is a ruse and that he does not know what fuel subsidy is. Therefore fuel marketers started hording the fuel since they were afraid Buhari would not support subsidy. Today Buhari is Importing fuel ,paying subsidy and fuel situation worse than ever before. How on earth did the 6th largest producer of crude oil in the world become the largest importer of same oil Because of docile citizens, who do not see themselves as deserving of any good ,thing, who think they are meant to serve their leaders instead of the other way round, they dwell on things that are not important, they are easily distracted, and believed good governance is meant for only developed countries. |
