Here everyone is busy talking about a submissive woman. for goodness sake, she is a human being and the world submissive is subjective. It now depend to who am I submitting to? No you cant do that. The only time a man can have 100% authority over his home, where he want his wife to be seen and not heard, is when he is the sole provider of the home. And that means that the woman in question will not be too educated and expose enough to know her right. To this very woman the man is her savior that brought her from the village to the city and as such she is ready to abide by what ever rules the man decide set in the home.

Nigerian men love master and slave relationship, they want to eat their cake and have it in this modern world...They look forward to getting a financial independent woman that is accomplished and still exhibit that archaic misogynistic behavior in such marriage ,expecting her to be subdued just like they would with a plain girl from the village.

Please if you wish to marry a very submissive woman that will never question your authority(Either good or bad) get a woman from a remote village and marry her. Then you can be the supreme lord of your own manor.

The law says 10k per child after divorce. It was 5k before it was increased to 10k for one child.
