So many jealous people on NL! They just hate to see others propering. Do you guys think Adenuga made all that money by lazing around Nairaland and other social sites 24/7? He got through hard work and sweat and sleepless nights. You guys really need to wake up honestly! Na the same brain God give all of us. Instead of looking for girls to love your (lazy) broke selves, go out and sweat, work hard and God will definitly crown your efforts. Little drops of water makes a mighty ocean. Just find out what makes you tick. Research and see what area that has not been tapped in Nigeria which you know will be a gold mine if eventually taped and you are good to go! Cheers! |
k2039: The bottle was split into two, the eggs were loaded into it, and cellotape was applied to join the bottle back. Yeah I can see signs of the split. You guys look carefully you will see it |
I'm a woman. But I must say that some women are worse than black mambas esp when they want to "protect" their territories. Men beware. Look before you marry such because they are usually the best pretenders during courtship |
Shollypopz: I just want to say I love this thread. Best thread IMO, on the front page so far. |
DailyNews: Seriously, you have a good biz plan but pls do bear in mind that for a business to succeed, it requires the owner's presence at all time. Don't make the mistake of opening up a business for some other persons to be the MD while u are a ceremonial CEO. It has murdered so many businesses. Before u start it, ensure u will be there always to see to its affairs and financial management.Of course I'm resigning! Ain't nobody gonna steal my business from me or take the glory from me! Lol! That kind of thing requires my full attention since I want to add professionalism and elegance to it ![]() |
2sexy: yup... just giving some other options. I used to draw back then but not anymore. Besides, I wonder if one can still get foreign comics in Naija. anyways, good for him.I'm sure @Goldenheart will do a very good job. I know potential when I see it! All he needs is to back it up with action |
2sexy: You need to explore the web and see if you can sell your comics online. I used to be crazy with comics as a kid bbut lost the passion long time ago.His comics will sell like hot cakes among primary and junior secondary school kids. The internet should not be the only place he should sell the comics. Let him make copies and deliver to schools and eatries like Mr. Biggs |
DailyNews: You have a good plan already, because your service is not rampant in Nigeria, so you need to build trust. Nigerians are beginning to enjoy fruits more, why not add that to your list? What about special diets? And why not take it beyond traditional and go online so people can as well order lunch in their offices via your website? And then you make available list of locations where you can deliver in less than hour. Finally in all, Nigerians love security when it comes to what they eat or drink, so u need to build trust for yourselfThanks. I thought of it because I noticed it's an area that has not yet been tapped in Nigeria. As a working class person, I know how many big time office workers crave home cooking while they at the office. Some are even too busy to cook @ home! I plan to give it a corporate, professional, and even elegant touch to add to it's flavour. Now that Iv thought of it the fruits could be added as desert to create a totally balanced, highly nutritious meal |

I plan to go into the hospitality business in 2013. Please what area of hospitality will N500K be enough for? Been thinking of delivering rich native, home cooked food to offices, conferences, etc. May I have more suggestions please? P.S: scammers don't even bother yourselves. All I want is suggestions and not your e-mail. Don't bother dropping your contacts or sending me pms. Thanks! |
BoboYekini: lol,Buka? LMAO! Canu imagine a girl like me as "mama put"? Laff wan tear my bele! I think small scale deliveries to offices will be a fine idea. Suits my budget fine. I want to add a corporate, professional touch to it so buka is just too informal/local. I just want to know more kinds of hospitality businesses I can do |
EmmyDe25: Now i know typographical error lyk mine is now a crime in Nigeria. As if ur any better. #flush left pls.Next time write "as if you are any better" because "ur" is short for "your", ok? Smh @ youths who are too proud to take correction. Abeg make I commot from here before dem infect me |
Serendipity: That is no howler but a mere admissible peccadillo. So why the bedlam?LMAO! |
SamConquer: I am as bewilder as u are.i cant beleive is a graduate that wrote this giberishAnd I can't believe you had the audacity to join those criticizing the op when there are over 3 different errors in just that single sentence of yours |
Dr. Wise:My dear! The tin don tire me! And to think that so many so-called graduates make this mistake! They mistake there for their, Here for hear, Where for were These for this Waist for waste Write for right Proof for prove. Etc. Reading and comprehending simple essays has become a big problem now. The level of education just keeps diminishing everyday. I wonder if there's still hope for our future generation. So pathetic! |
ITbomb: Escort ServiceCan you please explain further? |
Brand_new: Why don't you try supplying lunch boxes with healthy snacks, fruit Salad and maybe even add diet and vegetarian meals. That's part of my plan. Thanks a lot! |
acidosis™:Yep! The food will be cooked in my commercial kitchen by me with the help of 2 hired hands. But I need more suggestions of other businesses I can do in that area |
acidosis™:Lol! Abi o! |
Hello All! I'm thinking of resigning from my current place of work for health reasons. Since it's next to impossible getting another job, I v decided to do business. Because of my personality, I want to venture into hospitality. Please what area of hospitality will N500K be enough for? Been thinking of supplying rich native food to offices, conferences, etc. May I have more suggestions please? P.S: scammers don't even bother yourselves. All I want is suggestions and not your e-mail. Just drop your suggestions and go. Don't bother dropping your contacts or sending me pms. Thanks! |
jhydebaba: I learnt that Seun Osewa is the owner of nairaland.Laff wan scatter my head o! |
This is so disgusting! It is obviously for an advert. And to think that her parents allowed it!!!! What's this world turning into nau? |
GEJ is not slow, neither is he stupid. The man knows exactly what he's doing! He just puts on the meek attitude to draw sentiments from naïve Nigerians so they can keep blaming "Cabals" and people who are "working against his govt" for his inability to perform. |
E eya! Poster so sorry my dear! Don't mind all these people insulting you here. They don't know how it feels. Please forget this man and move on with your life. I know you love him and you are scared of loneliness but it's much better to be alone and have peace of mind than to be with someone with the heart breaking knowledge that he is married and will never marry you. It's not worth it! Pray harder, hope harder, you ll find your own man soon. |
What some of you guys here don't realize is that not all women esp the ones above 32 yrs (and under pressure to marry) who married poor men, married them for true love. It's called settling for any ANY man. A decision most of them later regreted after realizing he had no goals or ambition. Same way ladies shouldn't get too mushy when broke guys are all over them cos some of them are suffering from low self esteem and are just trying to prove to themselves (and others) that they are capable of having a woman like any other normal man. That's the sad truth of life. So not-so-financially- strong men let me advice you all, the next time a 30 something year old lady showers you with love, pls don't get too excited. Watch well and you may smell some desperation. Instead of looking for a lady to love you as a poor man, look for how to develop yourselves instead. Develop an undying drive to succeed. Same with ladies too. No matter your background, work hard to develop yourself and your personality, skills and acquire some measure of independence. Ciao! |

A focused man with a determination to make it in life. You can NEVER remain poor with such a man! |
safeLove: My dear,My dear don't bother yourself explaining anythng to anybody. Some people here just no dey hear word. They just hate hearing/seeing things like this. Iv learned that lesson. As long as you know you are happy and your hubby loves you, carry go. I'm happy for you! |
The point is that whether a girl marries for love or not. People will ALWAYS point accusing fingers @ her if her hubby is rich. Iv dated broke guys, Iv loved men with only potentials in their pockets, Iv been with average guys, but where did it land me? Now Iv met someone with cash who cares for me and treats me the way Iv only dreamed of. But some people say "she's a gold digger" like the mumus did not see me struggling with broke guys. Bottom line is just follow your heart. If it leads you to a rich man/woman, as long as you know deep down that you truly love the person, go along with the flow, if it leads you to a struggling man, pls go ahead. You can never tell tomorrow. The only BUT is that the man MUST have potentials and a drive to succeed. But if the poor man has no ambition, goal or focus, my dear, prepare to remain poor for life because no miracle will better your condition #fact |
