Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Dangote Vacancies For Drivers A Big Slap On Nigerian Graduates by swiftycool(m): 9:33am On Aug 03, 2012 |
samguru: just flipping through Guardian newspaper and saw an advert from Dangote group, seeking for graduate drivers,it was stated the drivers will be driving trucks and the qualifications must be B.sc,HND,OND or NCE Why not say same about those working in mtn, etisalat, glo etc as customer service agents, even bankers and air hostesses sef. Other countries employ highschool cert holders 4 all these jobs but in Naija its only 4 graduates. If u can't see anything wrong with those there's no big deal bout Dangotes |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Dangote Group: Graduate Trainee Driver Job Vacancies by swiftycool(m): 9:06am On Aug 03, 2012 |
In the UK most bankers are merely colledge school graduates, call centre agents, air hosts/hostesses and customer care personel are high school/college graduates or mostly even drop outs, shoping mall atendants and customer service assistants don't even need beyond primary school education, yet in Naija all these jobs are specifically graduate positions. So what's the big deal about graduate drivers? Don't u guys know Nigeria is full of graduates in various jobs than can even be handled better by secondry school graduates? Abeg no be new thing, most degrees in Naija are a waste sorry to say. 1 Like |

Our company is new in Lagos developing alternative and very cost effective building solutions for those who cannot afford the luxury of todays architect's and builders construction specifications. We present to you a cost effective solution by using stabilized laterite as well as clay bricks for building both external and internal partition walls. We have been operational in other parts of the country but wish to bring this solutions to Lagosians. Mind u the compressive strength analysis of this method has been carried out in two federal universities and found to be stronger than the usual sandcrete blocks as well as approved by relevant bodies. Please we'd like your feed back on what u think about these and if u might be interested. Happy viewing |

Car Talk / Re: 25 Rules For Driving In Lagos by swiftycool(m): 3:14pm On Aug 01, 2012 |
Good one! Might I also add a few 26. Always drive with ur full light at night, all uncoming cars would blind you with theirs as well anyways 27. After any two cars clash in an accident the driver who cannot show a higher level of "craze" is judged guilty irrespective of who actually is at fault. 29. Putting a L sign on ur car is just an attraction of bully drivers, don't do it u will be totured! 30. If u are waiting for cars with right of way to finish or stop and allow u join traffic from a connecting road, U might as well be prepared to wait forever, just block everybody till they have no choice but to let u go. 31. If you are sensitive to heavy abuses and curses, make sure ur AC is working so u can wind up and play some loud music (try MI-undisputed) if not the rain of 'thick' curses and abuses from frustrated lagos drivers alone could actually kill a young child! Religion / Re: Prosperity Gospel - Questions by swiftycool(m): 12:14am On Jul 15, 2012 |
The charge of every ministry is to go out into all d world to preach the gospel. With the new age in technology, this is made easier through the internet, satelite broadcast and other like means. The cec new year program was broadcast live to hundreds of countries with translations in some cases in real time. If u can ask anyone in the media how much it costs to pay for a world wide live broadcast per minuite perhaps u would understand how much the church expended 4 the purpose. It runs into millions of dollars and is not sponsored by coke, guiness, nike etc, but by free givings of d members of the congregation. As said b4 the pricing strategy was to ensure orderliness and I must add what u are desperate to hear AS WELL AS RAISE some of the MONEY for this broadcast. A lot of people value being at the main arena and would gladly pay for it knowing dat this donation would as well go to the broadcast. Hence I believe it was justified |

AK 48: Yea,I don't agree with you, after all the malpractice as u put it,we still go out to america n london to be their best graduating student.how come? Well unfortunately the actually best students not involved in the so called malpractices often come out as average because of overwhelming cheating of dullards to score higher grades above them. Hence many Nigerians can only truly prove their worth abroad where all is fair. No wonder many top Naija students are constantly disgraced while the ones labelled as average from the country actually come out Outstanding in other stricter countries. Am a witness |
