A god fearing man? Can't speak for all religions but as a christian, someone who obeys God and believes in Jesus Christ, simple. Doesn't matter about status, even some pastors/preachers go against God's laws behind closed doors. BUt at the end of the day who doesn't want a good spouse?

Pataki:
Are you saying because a woman is God fearing her partner should automatically be God fearing? I seriously do not get your point here sorry.
no i'm saying a woman who is god fearing will most likely seek a partner who is god fearing and like minded. She has beliefs and principles she follows and would be better off looking for someone with those same beliefs. If she's against fornication, stealing etc,  why go out with someone who does these things? that's all i'm saying  cool

how r u by the way?  smiley

well if the woman is truly God fearing aswell she wont want to do those things in the first place. It's abnormal to want to be with a bad person especially if he's supposed to be the head of the home, it's like the blind leading the blind. God fearing or not God fearing nobody's perfect, but it's like choosing between a diamond that has a few chips in it and a piece of coal, atleast the diamond has value.
RomanceRe: Why Do Men Convienintly Forget The Loving Their Wives And Hammer On Submission I by syren: 9:36am On Oct 22, 2008
I believe it's called selective amnesia and at present there seems to be no cure.
The reason these commands are stated in the bible is because people have such a hard time doing them. Even from the beginning God knew men would rather rule over their wives than love them as they should, so he had to order them to do the opposite. Same with women, very few actually like the idea of submission, while some grit their teeth and bear it, others have started a whole political movement against it.
What can we do? The human nature can be very stubborn.  huh

First and foremost, the easiest what out of this dilema is divorce (Think about it). You'll be doing yourself and your partner a very big favour. It will hurt at first, but time heals all wounds.
Let me also add that I blame you for all this. I know you thought it would improve with time but you should have called everything off immediately you found out that she was no longer appealing to you sexually anymore.
I am not married (yet), but I can only imagine how you feel. Sex with someone you are not emotionally attached to must be hell. Now about telling your wife about how you feel, I suggest you exhaust all other options of resolving this within yourself before you do that.
Now as ridiculous as this might sound, you could try hypnosis. It does work.
You could also talk to a counselor or a shrink, and seek their advice. Marriage counselling could also work since the only problem you have is the sex.

In summary, I would suggest you search yourself and be absolutely sure before you tell her about this. Divorce!! Thats my advice.
That must be sarcasm. Guys are pros when it comes to having sex with no emotional strings.

Anyhoo @ topic

I am sure you can already see where your mistake was so no need to state the obvious.
Since divorce is out of the question, I agree with the people that said you should talk to her and see if she is willing to compromise. If she wants the marriage to work out as much as you do then she will do something to make things better.
RomanceRe: When Should Guys Quit? by syren: 6:23pm On Oct 19, 2008
There has to be some cooperation on her part, if she doesn't appreciate the fact that your trying and there is absolutely no progress it's probably because she doesn't want there to be any. Then leave her.

RomanceRe: IQ: Kini Big Deal? by syren: 8:26pm On Oct 16, 2008
@post

Academic Intelligence/ IQ isn't everything but being on the same level intellectually is good in a relationship.

Intelligence isn't necessarily genetic and isn't always dependent on socioeconomic background. If that where the case, the royal family should all be considered geniuses but they're far from it. These all can play a part but it mostly depends on one's own inherent aptitude to learn and understand.

stress is a normal part of life, how it is handled matters more than the stress itself because its what makes the difference!!
u don't have to break our "agreement"
we ll play by the "rules, "
I'm gonna remember that. smiley

Rule #1: take things one day at a time.

I'm running out of time it feels like I'm doing 3 days worth of work at once. I just wish I could escape for a while. Let the world carry on while I sleep for several weeks. lol

RomanceRe: Why Do Ladies Think That Nigerian Men Are Not Romantic? by syren: 6:21pm On Oct 13, 2008
Everyone has their own idea of what romantic is. Some people find flowers and gifts romantic while others prefer a more abstract approach. Ideal romance doesn't exist in my opinion. cry
FamilyRe: Who Owns A Child? Father Or Mother? by syren: 8:15pm On Oct 06, 2008
Wrong!! Your parents own your ass at least till you are old enough to fend for yourself. They could have aborted you and there aint shit you could have done bout it.

Wrong again!! Children are not gifts from nobody. Onless you are also telling me that puppys, calfs, Kids (baby goat), cubs are also gifts from God to the animals. Children are a result of the fertilization of the eggs in the womb of the woman by the sperm of a man, the whole process is called "Sexual Intercourse" or "Zap.i.n.g". If you don't engage in intercourse, you wont get pregnant.

so I'm wrong because you say I'm wrong? All you had to say was that you disagree.
FamilyRe: Who Owns A Child? Father Or Mother? by syren: 2:19pm On Oct 05, 2008
Children are a gift from God, he owns them.

Parents are merely stewards that must raise the child.

In terms of responsibility, the parents have equal responsibility over it.
