COMMENCEMENT OF ORAL INTERVIEW PHASE OF 2020 MIDDLE MANAGEMENT INTERNAL RESOURCING EXERCISE





Dear Colleagues,



Further to our earlier communication on the approved cut off mark for the 2020 Middle Management Internal Resourcing Exercise for both Management Promotion Exercise (MPE) and Internal Open Resourcing (IOR), Management has approved Monday, 2nd November 2020 as commencement date for the Oral Interview.



The venue of the exercise will be Corporate Headquarters, Abuja and it will be face to face interview for both MPE and IOR.



Accordingly, eligible candidates will soon be advised on their respective interview dates.



We kindly request the active support of all Business leaders, Management staff and employees who will be nominated to participate at different capacities in ensuring a transparent and smooth conduct of the Oral Interview Exercises.



Finally, we wish all staff participating in the MPE and IOR Oral Interview session the very best of luck.

CONCLUSION OF COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT) PHASE OF 2020 MIDDLE MANAGEMENT INTERNAL RESOURCING EXERCISE





Dear Colleagues,



Please recall our broadcast of 14th September 2020 in which we advised Staff on Management’s approval to conduct the Computer Based Test (CBT) for the 2020 Middle Management Internal Resourcing Exercise. The general CBT for both MPE and IOR held on 22nd September 2020 while a Mop up Exercise for MPE was conducted on 28th September 2020.



After a careful review of the candidates’ general performance at the CBT, Management has considered and approved cut-off mark of 50% for MPE and 70% for IOR. Accordingly, eligible candidates will be advised on their respective dates and venue for the Oral interview phase of the exercise soonest.



Finally, we would like to use this opportunity to appreciate the enormous support extended by Business leaders and Staff in ensuring a successful conduct of the CBT exercise across the various centres within and outside the Country.

I agree with you. Every time they say the skills they are looking for wasn't found, instead of saying tribal region looking for was not found.
Na angel dem de find? masters and PhD holders wey apply no be their level? trying to blame their incompetence on other people. Who knows whether they do not even have the skills to find the skill amongst the brilliant applicants? This people don tire me.

I know some people with crazy degrees and certifications cum experiences who are part of EHs hopeful. GMD is just playing politics.

This is the reason why people with info fear to drop them. It is true that there are strong rumours of cancellation. You don't just dismiss that guy's claims like that. Besides, the corporation is even looking at offloading alot of the SS1 and SS2 guys into M6. This is because promotion is accelerated from SS6 to SS3... From SS2 and SS1 upwards, promotion drags. So you see people spending a lot of time in those two positions..

The GMD once mentioned that expertise they were looking for, they could not find it among the interviewed EHs. He mentioned that the corporation could not afford to hire EH and still go ahead to train them like GTs.

Dropping the info of cancellation here takes a whole lot of courage.. No one is happy about it and the prayer is that the corporation should have a change of heart. It will do a whole lot of good. Even in the midst of all these, it is the hope of the GTs that they will get to receive the EHs soon.

Train who, how, when? If you see the level of certifications and experiences of these most EHs you go fear. For instance, if you don't know any, you must know or have read about Jarus who is also among EHs applicants. So no point in that statement!

May be they went FCC for cancellation when GMD has said they will get back to EHs as soon as possible. Even when the interviewer did not even ask question on EHs and GMD magnanimously addressed the EHs. The truth will soon unfold.
