The crown Prince's has been decieving the word with the sham he calls reforms so that he will be accepted and supported by people all around the world. For close to five years now, he has only allowed women to drive, allowed women to enter stadiums and abolished flogging. If he is serious about reforms, he would have released the thousands of political prisoners he jailed because they dared to criticise him. He would have stopped the war in yemen and he would have renounced monarchy and called for elections. He should stop being an hypocrite.
Laws are changed by Parliaments or popular referendums in the "civilised" countries he is pretending to emulate, not by a de facto leader. We will never know the public opinion of the saudi people but thousands of people who hates other people and see other peoples' cultures will come here to masturbate.
Some peoples defination of "civilization" is European culture, anything outside of that is uncivilized to them.

Nnpc just concluded plans that GT May contractual agreement still holds although they would not resumed physically. But something, probably would online classes would start May. I hope they reason EH matter soon

I think the paper only mentioned those agencies because they are currently recruiting and not because they are the ones the embargo will affect

It is a good news that NNPC is not part of those that government lay embargo on their recruitments. They listed like 6 affected MDAs on today's newspaper headlines I read this morning on NTA. It shall end in praise for EHs.

You are very correct but Saudi Arabia which is one of most influential OPEC members is US ally therefore, not much frustrate US shale oil. It is Russia which is rival to US that waged frustration on US shale oil. Saudi Arabia is just fighting for their padi(US) so as to retaliate against Russia.
This rivalry war doesn't not pay any of them, though it hurts Russia more than Saudi Arabia.
I am very believe that they will reach consensus tomorrow God willing.EHs will also laugh sooner by God grace.

Presently the oil price is $34.11 per barrel as there were signs that Russia & Saudi were ready to negotiate. The outcome of the tomorrow's meeting will either have a positive or negative effect on the price of oil . The major stabilisation factor which is demand has been very low as a result of lockdown . The question now is will all members agree to cut production in order to maintain or increase the price of oil? Also remember that OPEC members are also trying to frustrate USA shale oil production which also affect the decision on oil production.
Let's pray for the good Lord to help the world overcome this Covid-19 challenge.

I digress: Just to contribute on the ongoing debate

The oil price drop is caused by two factors - oversupply by Saudi is the highest driver (like 70% of the cause) followed by low demand due to the pandemic. Saudi has promised to push in more barrels in April so expect even lower prices in April. The next OPEC+ meeting is not likely to hold anytime soon at least until June. So expect sustained low prices till at least June. CNN has also reported the pandemic may last for up to a year. Hopefully mankind will discover a vaccine before then. So oil prices is not gonna rise in weeks.

Even without oversupply, oil prices wouldn't have gone above the 40s due to the pandemic.


Also, the cost of producing oil in Nigeria is one of the very highest in the world, between $25 and $35 depending on the area. Whoever said $15 is not familiar with the Nigerian oil industry. Nigeria is currently producing literally at a loss. Also remember that we are not able to sell our crude as we are outpriced in the international market by lower cost producers like Saudi and Russia. So Nigeria isn't making any money right now. Worse still, the ECA is almost empty. Hard times ahead.

Let us include in our prayers that oil price doesn't fall below $22 otherwise, EH should not expect any list now. That's reality. They would rather maintain or even cut cost than to add to it. Nigeria needs to think beyond oil as a major source of foreign earnings. NNPC has 50 cargoes of fossil fuel and 12 cargoes of LNG without demand. You know what that means? Dangote has loss #240b in 5hours just because of naira crashes against dollar. Egbadura!!!

I really don't know but from what I can tell, the contract staff that mainly being affected are those in NNPC retail, my guess. When they started that SBU, alot of them were recruited silently. I know some. BTW, these contract staff that you are somewhat seeing as victims are actually doing well financially. Their pay is good as well.

Hey guys, spoke to a Mgt staff concerning EH and conversion of backup staff. He said the issue of conversion of backup up staff is being considered but many of them do not have the necessary qualifications to be placed within SS1-SS6 roles as specified in certain requirements for meeting these roles in Nnpc's conditions of service and also it will be unfair for full staff whom have worked for a long time to get usurped in hierarchy.
The plan is to fix few of them on JS role with a caveat (Could be assessment or getting a better qualification within a time period)

Sir, it is not speculation, it's from a very reliable source. Notifications and APL receipt any time from now and April but resumption in May or June is what I cannot ascertain for now.
