In December, 2014, NNPC aptitude test was written for Operators/graduate trainee and experienced hired. Successful candidates received invitation for interview which was later halted but some persons still got APL in 2015. How come?
In the DPR 2016 Junior staff recruitment which was concluded in January, 2018, there was no interview after the aptitude test. APL were issued.
In PTI 2018 recruitment which was concluded in November, 2018, there was no interview after the aptitude test. APL were issued.
That you have not seen or witnessed it doesn't mean that it has not occurred before. This is Nigeria where "everything" is possible.

If you like continue wasting your time praying and hoping for a miracle and don't move on. Imagine thinking replying tweets and constituting a nuisance on twitter could ever have any effect on a recruitment process. Most of you people are clearly not bright upstairs and the truth is even if they had concluded it, most of you would not have had the intellectual capacity to scale through from what you are displaying on this thread. My former lecturer who applied for EH, told me that they’ll be employing about 20 per state. He got that information from his source in the NCDMB.

I think the GMD is trying to cut cost at the detriment of the productivity of the Corporation, we know they are grossly short-staffed.

I just heard from one of the commissioner at the FCC that there are some states with no representation at all in the NCDMB and according to their agreement with the board, those states will be considered this time around along with others.

Guys, what do you think will be the fate of those of us hoping that the exercise will be conducted on merit? Because the tales of lobbying flying left and right are not very encouraging. I believe this is the type of job that the "powers that be" would want for their children/wards, leaving n-power for the common man. I'm just thinking aloud and asking questions.

I am trying to update my details but I cannot proceed because I don’t have second class upper degree and for second class lower that I have I can’t proceed, was it compulsory that one must have a second class upper degree and or a masters degree in other to be eligible, so all my effort of writing exams will just be in vain like this. In a country where the president does not even have have a BSc . Some one please tell me what to do.

The cut off mark is 70% and they are not using time sequence or percentile...

Selection is going to be based on the following criteria:
1. The average of your scores in both the first and second tests...eg. if you scored 70% in the first test and 50% in the second test your average would be 60%.

2. Federal Character .ie. each state would have their highest scores taken...eg. if d highest in delta is 50%, he would be selected for delta state, over someone from the same score in bauchi, because probably a lot of them scored above 70%

3. Discipline would also play a huge factor too...


Mails would start rolling in from the first week of March...

Let us wait till the end and stop all these speculations. They will surely call conduct interviews and I know they are not recruiting large numbers because from the adverts, the employment is for their glass house and other skeletal areas in some states. So keep your fingers crossed.
The only government agency that closely recruit based on merit is NLNG, dem de try.., the rest agencies and ministries na ogboju

From what I feel the first score might still be considered.So if you didn't do well in the second stage test is expected you do well in the first stage test or vice versa.Just to prevent a situation where someone will end up accusing the recruitment agency of not conducting a fair recruitment.Just like the case mentioned here that someone got 94% in first test and 34% in the second test.This guy will definitely be called for interview because he did well in the first test despite the fact that he had a low score in the second test.

Happy Sunday guys. Just want to give my 2 cents on this contract staff debate. I have been a contractor for one of the IOCs and they recruited for permanent roles while i was engaged by them and i wasn't successful. The process of recruitment for contract staff and permanent staff is very different. It was not my divine right to get the permanent role because i had been doing the job as a contractor, I had to go through the process. Also when the successful candidates came in i had to assist in their onboarding and getting them up to speed, no bad blood it was a competitive process and they were selected. My point is this, the knowledge i have acquired over the years is not lost and it is what has enabled me get other roles (even higher paying than the IOC contract role). I would advise any contract staff, Your destiny is not tied to NNPC or any company. With your acquired knowledge and experience please test other waters!!!! Nobody has a monopoly of opportunites, don't let anybody talk you into staying in an organization for a number of years in the hope that you would be favoured in the next recruitment whenever that is. I have also worked for one of NNPC subsidaries for two years and i don't see myself working for a singular company for 15 to 20 years. Furthermore, please let nobody make enemies for themselves, the water is large enough for everyone to drink and be satisfied. Let us focus on the much needed change and improvement we can all bring to NNPC and our nation. I believe that the EH component of this recruitment would be concluded succesfully. Lets keep the faith and continue demanding for closure.

Inasmuch as d contract staff were given opportunity to apply for the EH positions and they didn't scale through d selection criteria, they're not qualified to be in the vacant positions, it's very simple.

It's a different case if they weren't allowed to apply. But since they were and even with their advantage of having more knowledge about NNPC's inner workings, they still couldn't scale the recruitment hurdle, what value will they be to the organization then?

My opinion : But i believe they will release it,But not now to see how long this covid-19 will be with us .If they will be no more lockdown ,You don't expect In this pandemic that Even No 1 biggest economy in the world is affected and you expect a Country like 9ja to employ people staying at home doing nothing and will be getting their pay .
