I was given a conditional offer 3weeks ago and I was also told to accept or decline before 14 days which I mailed back by accepting the offer though the condition of the offer was a request of my waec with at least c6 in English language. This morning, I finally got a mail after 11days that my offer has been accepted while I was told to mail result@derby.ac.uk for any conditional documentations

From what I’ve read on student visa,you don’t have to prove how you got the funds cause it’s stated only your parents, spouse or a government body can be your sponsor ,that is using their bank statements. Any other sponsor (family relative or friend or boyfriend) must send the funds to your account.

But I would advise you get the business registered or get a sponsor, it's risky

When printing your bank statement, just avoid dates where large sum deposits are made if you can't explain how.
If you're self-funding, yeah you have to show proof like employment letter, CV, pay slips, business registration, etc. If you're being sponsored, then the letter stating that from your sponsor which must be your parent or spouse.

Hello

If you pay your fees in full then you only need your maintenance, if not then the balance plus maintenance should be in your account.

Before CAS issuance, the school will require you to provide your bank statements for 28 solid days, showing these:
> balance tuition
> maintenance fee for you and your dependants, if any.

If you scale this, UKVI will demand same at visa application stage. This will be accompanied with paying the IHS and visa application fees.

Whereas, there are some schools that will not require this POF to issue you CAS.

So, choose wisely before committing yourself to any school with preCAS deposits.

Please where does it state that the tuition balance must also be in the account, I saw just the maintenance funds on their site after paying the admission deposit.

You need to show £1,023 X 9 months for maintenance (preferably 12 months to be on a safe side) plus the balance tuition of £11,700.

Please i can’t seem to find where they said the balance of the tuition fee must be in the account, I only saw the maintenance funds. where can i find that information?

I think it probably might be stated in the CAS after you’ve made deposit. I’m not sure tho.

I appreciate your swift response. Pls my offer is conditional and the condition requested from me is that a copy of my waec certificate with at least c6. I was also told to write/ mail the admission team by accepting my offer which I have done but nothing yet since last week

They also require POF for cas, according to their site they’ll start issuing from 1st May for september intake

There was no discount in the offer letter, but i according to school’s website, the discount will be applied when making subsequent payment after the admission deposit and it’s not a discount one needs to apply for it would be deducted provided one meets the requirements
