@ everyone thank you so much for your outpouring of love,i will still see my Doc today to decide on the way forward.I have done three tests between sunday and this morning and it's till negative.
@ Bucacious i do appreciate your concern,this was my first cycle and i feel so emotionally drained already but i have so much support from nairaland and hubby so am taking it easy,you obviously do not leave in Nigeria,am trying to look for the right words to say.Let me speak for myself,am aware that 4embies does not necessarily mean 4 babbies or 6 or 8 and i also know that more embies does not mean positive preg but madam,Nigeria is not as updated as UK,US or SA,so i do not even think ESET is good in Naija,i hear the FET done is Nigeria is slow freezing and not vitrification so that's a problem already,for me,i have the option of going abroad for my treatment but it will cost me extra which i can save up for but my greatest challenge is the time for the treatment i have only 4weeks leave in a year and i know ivf is at least 6weeks and sis i need my job to fund money for treatment,it's such a silly rollercoaster but in Nigeria am not sure there's any insurance co that pays for fertility so i do not blame anyone that even decides to put back 4 or more than .Nobody prays to keep money in the bank for IVF ,as dangerous as it is people have taken their chances and have multiples,if i get preggo with multiple i will leave Naija at 20weeks,that's my plan so it's our choice but Nigeria is not ready for Eset and by the way i met an FS in maryland USA last year that as a matter of policy implants 4 embies with Assisted Hatching sef and when i asked her why she said it's expensive and people should have value for their money.Drugs alone in the US cost as much as $8000 or is to cheaper,i must have sent mails to like 15 ivf clicins in the us and uk before i started on this journey so my dear am sure you offended one or two people but as far as ttc is concerned the experience itself is hurtful so no yawa.In the mean time i would appreciate if you can PM me on dketubah@gmail.com maybe we can talk further.
Does anyone know anyone who got preggo naturally or even with IVF with PCOS,i spoke with a nurse who walks with Diff Abuja and she said to me that the prob with pco is that you have loads of dead eggs,i do not know what that means o,anyway am seeing my doc today for a final test and then discuss way forward.i love you all and all this will never be in vain

Thanks my people I don't want to sound like I don't have faith cos I was almost sure of a bfp,I had prayed a lot b4 I started and few days b4 d hpt I was peeing a lot,could it have just been my imagination? @ arisolama I do not know much abt fibroid but I've heard that when you take it out u shld try and get preggo within six months I do not believe u shld wait for more than 3mths cos a family friend of mine removed a myomar from her womb and started ivf 6 weeks later,the baby is 2yrs old now but I think you shld ask an IVF specialist to be double sure

Ok people so I did the test y'day and it was bfn,am surprised at the way am taking it,hubby is not even allowing me to dwell on it,though Emeka wants me to test again on Monday since I still have not seen AF but my mind don comot,so right now I just want to pray for direction and spend time in the word of God,I did get preggo once naturally but lost it at 18weeks,I did 100K contribution for 7mths last year to raise money for dis ivf o nd hubby gave me 400k,I had to pay extra for epidural for d ET cos d last time I was put to sleep I had a cardiac arrest,but am not dwelling on all dat now,I think I shld plan a vacation for easter o,make I go pamper myself for a change jare how are u all doing?God cannot lie

@ Gimnaeto,usually when d doc sees an anomaly in ur womb thru a vaginal scan,he may ask u to do an hysteroscopy,an hysteroscopy is to check inside ur womb,to know if ders anything that cld be der hindering the implantation of d embies,its aa routine done in most fertility clinics in SA,so I think u shld do it just to be sure all is well ,keep fighting u will laugh last,I was told severally to do it but I was sure it was not neccessary cos I had already done 3 HSGs to check my womb structure and I was once preggo but lost it at 18wks,keep the faith,u will get loads of support here

@tontolo I've read on foreign post of people getting preggo with just one embie with even a 2day xfer,blasts are good but ders no guarantee embies can get to day 5 which is why some pple opt for a 2 or 3 day xfer,but don't lose hope I think with ivf when it wants to stick it wiLl stick,it's not over until u WIN,tell God to do the impossible with ur xfer u will be shocked dat it can even spill to 2.My 2WW ends tomm but I don tell Emeka am comong to test today

Am supposed to test tomm too but am tired of waiting so I've told Emeka am coming in today to test,its 15dp ET today,am sorry abt d bleeding did u call Emeka?Its not over until u win o stay hopeful,I did not bleed but I've been anxious abt many things too,the truth is its not under your control now,just pray and know it's a battle u will win eventually.

Hello Joyful mothers of children,satan na liar and he's in trouble,am new on this thread,CJone gist caught my attention.I get first hand experience,a very close family friend had a baby boy from Ondo state,same story,no scan go se am,na herbs and you must deliver there,they will call u and tell u to come on a pArticular date,they rtold me to come to ,I cld not sleep when they told me,this person na born again o,I told my hubby if I go and I born how will I share the testimony,dis babe was just blowing up o ,no ante natal,na herbs and I hear when u have d baby you have to leave the hosp same day,they are everywhere even in Lagos,there was a doctor I met like thAt in Yaba,na so he dey pump people nd they think they are pregnant o until when one of his paatients decided to do a scan at anodA clinic lo and behold empty belle,belle wey dey say don reach 8 months ,I did not go back o,while sEeing anoda doc I mentioned it to him his exact words were the man is untouchable cos he's a retired colonel,anyone God almighty don touch am o as he don die.Let's. Be careful o,God is able,pls am interested in this fast and prayer o,pls can someone fill me in?

hello everyone inwangobio i shed tears when i read the good news,i was in the toilet with my lap top and when i saw it especially that song he's able,i was shedding tears,i had to be quiet so my hubby won't hear me.
When i joined Nairaland i was not sure i was going to be a regular poster but now i know more than ever i need some suport through this journey.Am in my 2ww too,cycled with Emeka,i feel comfortable with him,did i have a bed rest during the 2ww,not seriously cos it was so tough lying down for that long so for the first few days i was lying down but after three days i started moving around a little though lying down in the living room most of the time,my PT is on saturday,i've been positive,had doubts,had faith,and sometimes felt defeated.
I had cramps up to 10 days post ET but the cramps are almost unoticeable now which discouraged me a bit, cos i hear most times cramps are a good sign,i feel like my periods are coming ,i've been feeling that way since like 6 days now but the thing never show.i don't want to test before sat on my own cos am afraid but am still hopeful,initially i had sore boobs and some breast pain especially when i wake up first thing in the morning but that has since stopped,except for some spasm or fluttering i feel on my belly,i remember i used to feel that way when i first conceived in 2009,though i lost it at 18weeks and i've been trying since,am hopeful and trusting God that this time sat it will be celebration galore in my household.Whatever happens i will share the news here.
At double blessing your testimony moved me to challenge God with his word,that scripture is powerful,pls let's not all forget that everything begins and ends with God,he has all the answers.Love you all

It's always so easy to give advice when you are not directly involved.I met a woman who has been married for like 15yrs,she married as a virgin but she said she has slept with more men as a married woman,it's a tough one but i realise that most people who cheat especially women really don't plan to cheat,i've read stories and am in a dilemma myself but as for the guy in question, she won't admit cos she loves you and maybe you should just let go ,don't keep punishing HER cos am sure she feels bad enough,and if you choose to leave her,it's your call but will THE next girl be innocent too and for all the advisers let him that has no sin throw the first stone.

By the way when my triplets or twins come i will tell anyone that cares to listen that it was IUI /IVF,i remember asking my darling mother to loan me 1mm for IVf abt 3 yrs ago and her exact words were she does not use her money for such.I will remind her when the babies eventually come.

@pikinmama i don laugh tire,how are you all doing?blendy darling how far,joyful mothers una welldone o,am a little discouraged so i wanted to share some thoughts.Few months ago my hubby told me am not serious abt this baby matter and he told me abt a friend of ours who had a similar challenge and they have put to bed now,so i asked them which doctor they used o,my sisters,the revelation i got was alarming,na agbo o ,somewhere in Ondo but the part i dont understand is that no scan will see the baby so all the antenatal she did was by taking agbo o ,and the people will give her the EDD and you must deliver in their own clinic.I lost my peace when i was told and kept asking why won't a scan see the baby,the preg no go even show too much sef but she don born,i really do not have plans to go that route and guess what delivery is N1.2mm and you must go with cash and i hear it's less than 10mins to deliver o.Hubby of cos does not want that route too .

Anyway i don go see Emeka but am waiting for my periods so i can do my tests.

he said i may have to do IUI first since my tubes are fine but if you ask me i just want to go the IVF route first,really anxious ,been 7yrs already and i feel so guilty i did not take this serious until now.
i also want to encourage us all to ask questions whn we are not sure,ive been mismanaged a lot in the past ,am only lucky that am still alive o ,i once had a cardiac arrest while trying to do a laparascopy o can anyone beat that.Thank God for his mercies,he's still faithful.

Hello all d mamas in d house,sorry I can't keep a tab on evryone's name but OloriL PGD is not available in Naija,I did dat research yrs ago,Dr Ashiru of MART said he does it but they will need to freeze ur embryo first nd send cells from d embryo to d states.Your best bet for PGD is in the UK and US I know PGD alone in d UK is abt £3800 to £4200 depending on which part of towm u are,but weigh all ur options,if I may ask y do u want a PGD? @ blendy I finally saw Dr Emeka o ,we'll run some tests in my nxt cycle nd dat will depend on d course of treatment,Dr Emeka told me am still young I laughed o @ 33?,I met a woman who has been trying for 20yrs y'day,she had so much positive energy ard her I had to ask her how she's been coping with her inlaws she simply said her hubby is her focus not her inlaws.I suspect I mite be doing IUI first cos my tubes are good and hubby's SA is solid,anyone with success stories of IUI?

Hi blendy tanx I know tru care very well,I used to see d gynae der then infact he was the one that diagnosed pcos and suggested IVF,however he left tru care to start his practice,he's told me to come do ivf with him but am not so sure abt dat yet,I already spoke to Dr Emeka of georges and he's sent me a maail that I shld fix an appointment.How are u and ur lil one holding up?

Hello everyone,am new on d forum,am sorry if I get anything wrong while posting,am just anti social media,congrats to evry one who is preggo now and plenty congrats to dos still trying we will all become joyful mothers so I've. Been trying for 7yr though I've been so inconsistent but disgnosis I'd pcos,tubes fine,DH SA soliid,its not just happening.I got preggo in 2009 though thru clomid and some injectn I don't even know the name but had a mc at 7 and 18 weeks respectively,twas a multiple,nothing has happened since den and am confused a gynae wants me to do iui but am just so lost.I've heard positive stories abt georges on dis trend can someone pls advice me on the nxt step,am trying hard to hold back tears ,if u had a positive.
