 I have always said that democracy as practiced in Europe and North America cannot work in Africa due to the endemic illiteracy and poverty. Let every region/country find a system of governance that suits them, just like the Afghans did. Say what you wish about the Taliban, truth is majority of Afghans welcome them and that in my opinion is democratic enough. 3 Likes |
