Second time alone also denied, but is it possible for me next time to to change the sponsor of the trip to her since she is civil servant while i have my own business.

Why would you want to put your wife as the principal sponsor, is her income more than yours? If you cannot convince the vo concerning your business and your income, your chances are slim.

Sorry for the denial, you were just not convincing enough. The vo did not even ask if you have traveled before, she was already convinced you are not genuine tourist, mind you, I am not saying she was right.

Be persuasive next time, answer with more conviction, like where are you going, tell her the specific location, not just Chicago

Go on vacation to the UK or other European countries, with your profile you will most likely get their visa because they consider documents. This will help to proof your ties and increase your chances in your next US application

Ours was 8.00 am appointment. The guy before us was denied, he said he is married with a child but was traveling alone, but the lady before him carrying a baby with another child standing beside her in school uniform was given.

Sorry about the delay, the issue of your sponsor was a bit complicated, your tuition is already taken care of with the RA, you should have emphasized that and just add a letter of support from your mum that will take care of you accommodation and maintenance. It is normal for a mother to commit bulk of her gratuity to sponsor her child to study abroad. sometimes when things are complex and not very clear, they take it that their is no real sponsor. repackage immediately, thank God they did not hold on to your application for long.

The vo was pleasant and friendly, the whole session was not more than a minute, he did not ask for any document, not even our old passports that contain all the travel history but the new passports contained new five years UK visa that we have not used

The VO gave you reason why your visa was denied. your husband got his US visa recently and has not traveled with it, the VO concluded you all were intended immigrant and you decided to apply separately to disguise it. Now that your husband has traveled you can wait till when he is renewing and apply together

I'm still filling the forms right now. I will be filling in single right there not even in a domestic relationship. Then if asked if I have misinterpreted... I would click Yes and state the wrong information I supplied not married as I stated in my previous DS-160

Yes this is the right thing to do. fill single and state that you misrepresented before because you were in a domestic relationship and you called it marriage. Once you own up to your previous misrepresentation, you still have a chance if your current ties are good

it does not seem okay for a married person with young family to go on vacation alone. if it is conference or job related travel, that is okay but not vacation. Go with your family on East African tour and apply together next year for US visa.

Circumstances always change, the issue is to have a reasonable explanation. You know why you did not plan to stay with your cousin the first time, may you do not have your cousin contact back then but let your explanation be reasonable. Having family there is a big plus because it gives more valid reason to embark on the trip, to visit family, just tourist visit without family usually requires that you are more financially comfortable, also having a host over there reduce the financial cost of the trip and makes it reasonably within your earning power in the estimation of the ECO

Two different scenarios, Promotions can be back dated,from the date it was due and all arrears duly paid,things like that could be view as administrative lapses.....But like I said she has choices to choose from,but if I was her,I will include only my leave letter and letter of introduction to safe my self from any unnecessary explanation

What matters is the document was back dated and its not her making, she should just go ahead and explain, it will do more good than harm

Every application is treated on its own merit. The OP has been denied a visa when she was unemployed. Trying to explained a backdated employment letter will only make matter worse. If she is now in employment, all she needs is an introduction letter from her employer backed up with payslips to reapply in 6 months time.

One thing you must understand is she is not forging the documents, that is the actual situation, and so she should just explain how it is, furthermore, your application must always be consistent with your previous application, last application she was jobless now she has a job and no letter of employment, it is a red flag and can cause doubt in her application.

The fact that she is truthful about her situation will actually be a plus. she is not stating that she started work earlier but that her employment letter was back dated. she should just explain why it was so. It will help her application to come out straight

Yes the explanation will be tenable. When my wife applied for a renewal sometime ago she included a letter of promotion which was back dated to before her previous application, she stated that she did not include the promotion in the previous application because she had not received the promotion letter by then though the promotion had been in effect before then and her renewal was approved.

The things in the letter were confusing basically because I had explained what they said o didn't explain and believe I put the evidence they said I didn't but I guess it not my time to travel. I have travelled to uk b4. Had 2years visa in the past (2x sef) but I was single then, now married. Was unemployed at d time of application (just completed nysc), might have counted against me. Employed now sha so I guess I have something for future applications.

Sorry about your visa refusal, the monthly income claim is too low for the closing balance in your account, a similar application like yours with closing balance of N3,500,000 also a director of his company had a monthly income of 850,000 and was given 5 years.

Also the turn over is also a factor otherwise, it might look like lodgment just for the purpose of visa and that the money is not really yours

Also you should have answered yes when asked any other sources of income and state how much your earn from these other sources, either investment or dividend. The ECO just believe your monthly take home does not justify your closing balance, but many times they don't consider this fact, it depend on the officer.

Apply again and state other sources of income such as investment even if it is profit from your business and the annual amount.

I have always known that Satan is grand master of deception now I see it openly here. Jehovah same as satan and some people believe this, deception cant get anymore beyond this. But I am not surprise, when you go close to Satan that is what you get. Will be praying for all of you in this trap.

Yes it means TLS has received your pasaport back, you just go to them to collect it, there will likely be no more update until you collect your passport

The list is not complete, I think Unilag was in a hurry to get the list out before end of 2016 so they push out the once they were able to upload then, while they keep updating the list.

Surely when they are done with this list they will have supplementary list because it is not likely that everyone will accept the offer of admission or pay the acceptance fee

The list is out, I was able to check and saw my name there , The list appears as 2015/2016 but when you click on it is show 2016/2017 admission list but the site appears to be down now, I think it is because they are updating the list because I believe the list is not complete yet. Btw, I got a text message for offer of admission from the school of postgraduate yesterday.
