What network is it locked to?? |

Just like my ex, she once smashed my s7 edge and then proceeded to almost strangle me. My neck was sore for days Any form of domestic violence is wrong. Either male or female. I couldn't forgive her after that incident cos it wasn't even the first time. |

Aside that, lemme tell you this...you are HYPOCRITE..and you are just like your father the devil who is a liar and no truth is found in him. Your dad never did what? Ask your father...as for not beating your sister once..maybe your senior sister, buh if na your junior? Na lie go send you go hellfire Oh shut up please. You can't read to comprehend. Product of a violent home! If you can't correct someone without violence then you and the males in your family are possessed and not every Nigerian man is like you. |

onedayatime: sharap and keep shut. You talk as if you no know woman. Maybe you still be kids. You think say marriage na courtship wey be bed of roses? ask your popman if he touch your mama, ask your grandpa if he never beat your grandma before, ask your uncles if them never beat their wives before. Ask your leaders(Imams, pastors, alfas, govenors, ministers, senators etc) if them never beat their wives before. Na who him wife report na him you know and you wey dey here dey talk rubbish go beat una wife pass this. Abeg, park your useless comment and go. Shior, I pity the lady but you can never underestimate a woman when it comes to trouble, dem go provoke you do wetin you no believe say you fit do. Dat is woman Don't quote me again. Retar.ded child. I can't make sense of your gibberish My dad never hit my mom, I never hit my sisters. As usual nairaland boys will still find a way to blame a female and justify the males actions. Most Nigerian male youths were not brought up well, at all! Parents need to train up their male kids in the same way they train female kids. We just have ego inflated males walking about with the notion that a female must do everything to please them and not provoke them. |
Education › Re: Some Of The Horrible Realities Of Being A Woman Throughout History. by tartarus(m): 8:35am On Dec 20, 2016 |
LaEvilIMiss: **NOTE** this may be a global phenomena but it is distinctively thriving in Africa
There are several fora and public initiatives that encourage women to come out of this age-old shell of gender stereotypes established by Religion, Traditional Social Societal Structures and primarily an Intellectual Eco-system that teaches biological and physiologic differences as evidence of Male Superiority. It is a deeply entrenched disease that ignores the fact that without these unfounded barriers mentioned above.. there is no telling who would be a better human male/female.
But it seems even if you find powerful, successful women at various levels in society.. there is very little drive from other women to embolden initiative, passion and courage to be better persons and thriving in circumstances where we are previously thought to be lacking in conviction.
Let us take caring for female children.. here is what typically obtains... while females with brothers break apart in their teen and pre-puberty years, the formative (early) years distinctly shows a higher level of maturity intellectually and socially on the part of females who are same age as their male siblings.. when they get past teenagers.. there are several stereotypical parental behaviors that start damaging the psyche and reasoning of females as they grow into adult-hood
1: Beauty over Intelligence: At a young age.. boys can be rough but girls have to preen and prune and look pretty. they get rewarded and complimented for simply being cute and they recognise that there is a quick reward to looking beautiful rather than intelligent. 2: Marriage as an ultimate goal over Independence and Career: When a boy grows into a man, his ambition and goals in life seem limitless.. for a woman you can only go as far as Marriage.. you can go further but the male society now sees it as usurping a God-mandated Male role. So women stave ambition and passion just to remain under the roof of her husband's house as he is the bread-winner. should he fail and she becomes the bread-winner, she is seen as proud and unsupportive 3: Submission rather than Cooperation and Collaboration: The Man is the head and the woman has to keep her gaze low and her head bowed. but they are proud to claim that behind every successful man lies a woman. All lip-service
We could go several pages on this issue but this is what women ought to do to change this unfortunate trend that has bedeviled AFRICA for centuries now
1: Parents should recognize that it only hurts the survival of future generations if stereotypes are nurtured and sustained. give equal importance to female and male children - Enlighten them in equal boundless measure.. success is not labelled by gender but by courage.
2: The institution of marriage is not a license for gender un-equality rather a message of hope for humanity .. Man+Woman inmarital harmony produces generations of successful children.. better 100% than 50% or less
My 2 cents This still doesn't answer his question. |

mastermaestro: The way some guys talk contemptuously about women shocks me. It forces me to believe that their mothers are dead. Not just dead but died wastefully with zero impact on their upbringing. Also it forces me to believe that they have no sisters, or if they did, they are irrecoverably lost somewhere in the dark tunnel of prostitution. In addition, I am inclined to believe that they have rid themselves of all female-producing sperm.
Only dumb men have no respect for women! You should know most "males" on nairaland are kids. |

Most nairaland men are lousy. The question is "why do most men patronise prostitutes?" But as usual they'll also find a way to blame women for their predicaments. It's always a woman's fault! |
Romance › Re: Why Do Men Patronize Prostitutes? (Video) by tartarus(m): 1:03pm On Nov 02, 2016 |
vodutive: 90% of women are prostitutes, it's in their DNA. There are just different levels of prostitution and not all is so overt. You don't have to walk on the streets to be a prostitute. If you have a sugar daddy you are a prostitute, if you are sleeping with a married man in return for range rover and Dubai trip you are a prostitute, Even some wives are prostitutes because they are only in the marriage for the money. The thing with many women is they come with a lot of BS and for many men "pay as you go" simply eliminates the need to listen to BS. Perhaps your mom is one. |
