Politics / Re: APC Targets North’s Bloc Votes, PDP Rules Out South West by Taye4j: 4:30pm On Jun 10, 2022 |
Steveabbeyly: That's the problem, Igbos have burned too many bridges. Do they even expect Northerners to vote for them? Pure no. A Northerner would rather vote another Northerner or at worst a South Westerner or someone from the South South. Even if Obi picks a Northerner as his VP, he's not going to win except if there's a divine intervention. Anyway, I believe in miracles. 1 Like |

casualobserver: As far as 2023 presidential election is concerned, Peter Obi winning is a pipe dream. I like the man personally, no doubt. But with the way Nigerian is structured, there are gatekeepers in the political system who are majorly in APC and PDP. If you are going to be the president, you have to pass through them. 1 Like |

casualobserver: Honestly, are you actually canvassing for a Muslim-Muslim ticket? Doing so is actually playing right into the hands of Atiku. In this Political era that we are in Nigeria, there are two main things you can't take away from Nigerians when they are making their choices the party they want to vote for : Tribe and Religion. |

casualobserver:. It's as if you read my mind. I would have given Peter Obi 50% probability of winning 2023 presidential election if he stayed in either PDP or APC, but with Labour Party (no disrespect to them), he will only come a distant third. The funny thing is that you will hear Igbos claiming they've been marginalized again after the elections, or that they've rigged PO out of the presidential race. Most of them believe the social media hype is enough for Obi to win. By the time Tinubu and Atiku rolls out their campaign machineries, e go shock PO supporters. Come to think of it,how many states does Labour Party control? None. And you want to win a presidential election? I laugh in Mandarin. 1 Like |

I've always said it, the best way or sure way for Atiku to defeat Tinubu is if he picks a VP from SW. As it is, if Atiku picks someone from SS, he will share the votes between Atiku, Obi and Tinubu while Obi holds SE bloc tightly and Tinubu holds SW bloc wholely with votes from his VP in the North. The only option for Atiku is to pick a VP in the SW and split the vote which will affect Tinubu massively. 1 Like |

sweetjohn: Lol. That must beIN your dream. Yoruba can never be excluded from Nigerian politics because they have everything working for them. First, they hold the economic power in Nigeria. All major companies are situated in the SW. Secondly, talk about population, media, technology, education etc. They are all situated in the SW. As long as Nigeria exists, Yoruba have all it takes to determine what it wants. 4 Likes |

Cherez: I know people like you will come up with excuses and statistics from IPOB Bureau of Statistics. So, are you telling me your 2*2 shops where you sell okrika wares are what is generating income for LSG? Your brothers and sisters are littered all across the streets of Lagos with their Fanyogo and gala selling business - and you think that is where the LSG generates its income? Even Dangote with over $16B refinery company and another $2B fertilizer plant built in Lagos cannot claim to be the one tributing to the income of LSG. And let me ask, what is the population of Igbos in Lagos apart from the Yorubas who are indegenes compared to other tribes and nationalities in Lagos? Stop saying trash about the 1967 civil war which you brought upon yourselves as the reason your region is lagging behind. Even Japan that was nuked by the US are a world power now. Bunch of illiterates, always claiming what they are not. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Where are the Ndi billionaires from the East? Can you imagine, the biggest and most resourceful state in the East couldn't even beat Osun state not to talk of Oyo and Ogun . Jealousy and hatred will kill Igbos very soon. 8 Likes 1 Share |
