This government like creating problem where there is none. I don't understand why some people like doing things in an archaic way. For crying out loud, electronic voting and computation of election results shouldn't even be discussed in this 21st century, but because of shameless, corruption and their penchant for election rape, they'll rather abandon electronic voting and take us back to the Stone age. Bunch of foolish leaders. |
Ibkhaleel:What about your leaders that have said bandits and Boko Haram members are not terrorists but business men? El rufai said they can't be compared to Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu despite killing thousands and displacing millions. Gumi will always go to the forest to negotiate with bandits but none have been arrested. A bandit mentioned the number of soldiers and policemen he has killed, rather than arrest him on the spot, you have Governors and politicians taking photos with him. We all know if he were to be a Southerner, DSS, Army, Navy etc will bombard his house and shoot him on the spot. Be sincere for once, if Buhari was a southern president, will the North have stayed silent? The hypocrisy from the North stinks to high heavens. I know a southern president will emerge come 2023 and will pay the North back in full. |
sencekompis:Those fools from the North took a lion as a pet, nurturing it while it grows; forgetting that they will end up in it's belly one day. Let them continue to romance Boko Haram, bandits and killer herdsmen, thinking they are supplanting the South. A time is coming when they will cry in their graves while their grandchildren will curse them from generation to generation. |
These Fulani terrorists from the North are very funny. If the Southern governors are behaving like Nnamdi Kanu and Igbo, Northerners are behaving like Boko Haram and bandits. Seeing Southerners come together is sending shivers down the spine of these uneducated fools. So, these idiots will sit and have their own caucus meetings in the North but will rush out to masturbate on any news from the Southern governors. What they don't understand is that the governors are powerful enough and strengthened by the Constitution to frustrate the president if they so decide to do that. Their silence all this while was to ensure peace and stability. Since the president and his cabal has decided to enslave the North with the help of the Northern oligarchs and ensure their is no no justice and equity, it's high time they showed the president their ability and how far they are willing to go to protect their people. If the North doesn't like this, they can meet us in court. Quota system fools. |
Since it will be old wine in a new bottle, I won't support this new party. Baba needs to understand that the cronies and looters from both APC and PDP can't bring anything new or meaningful to the new party. Unless we see new faces that are youths, we won't support any party. Those PDP governors that are decamping to APC are joking, come 2023, we won't vote for any of them. |
Yorubas are doing well. Kudos ! |
When a government decides that everything must be settled with force, this is what happens. People no longer fear Buhari and his soldiers, seeing a soldier or a mobile policeman shouting orders no longer scare people. When you push people to the wall through injustice, nepotism, tribalism and all sorts of madness, this is what you get. I was listening to political discuss on radio this morning in Ibadan and you see hear and feel the anger in people's voice from their calls. It seems are leaders are intentionally blinded to the fact that people are angry at them, a time will come when this Government will beg people for dialogue and they wont listen. |
Nigeria has taught all these countries how to deal with big tech companies. Who say Bubu no get mouth? E don talk to them in the language they understand. Lol |
Okay, next African country will be South Africa. |
VULCAN:What people don't understand is what we call "INTEREST" in politics. The UK has just gotten Brexit and would need countries to stay afloat economically and Nigera is one of the key partners the UK needs in Africa because of her huge population and both human and natural resources. Handing over Nnamdi Kanu to Nigeria is a little price they can pay to secure their economy and cash flow. Considering the recent Twitter ban which is also a slap in the face, it's imperative that the UK plays to the gallery and ensure broken lines are mended. Since it's a win-win situation for both government, Kanu had to be sacrificed cos he had no bargain chip. |
Kobicove:Sincerely, you read my mind. I won't be surprised if Twitter' suspension is lifted before the week ends. I think the FG has used two stones to kill one bird. However, Igbos should shelve their agitation and find a way to play themselves into the scheme of things politically. The message from the UN is a pointer to the fact that the world powers know it will be a disaster not just for the African continent, but the entire world if another war breaks out in Nigeria with a population of over 200million. Igbos should start working with other ethnic groups and stop the blame game and name calling. As it is, South South is about to displace the Igbos politically, they are rising up in the pecking order and will shoot their shots at usurping the Igbos. He who has an ear........... |
Igbos are cowards ! Igboho will rather die than run, Sowore will Rather die than run. Ojukwu was the first to run with his rapper to Ivory coast and now, Nnamdi Kanu but those those foolish Igbos will be the first to call some people cowards; abeg, make Dem put AC for his prison cos it's going to be a longggggggg time. |
BiafIntel:I'm not sure you understood what the writer was communicating. Don't let your hatred for Buhari also cost you your thinking faculty. Read again and this time slowly. If after reading and you still find the comprehension hard, kindly look for someone to read to you and interprete. Unfortunately, I won't do that for you. |
This is a good news for Nigeria and Africa at large. The production and export of both fertilizer and crude oil will exponentially improve our GDP, it will help stabilize our foreign exchange, it will eliminate petrol subsidy and incessant fuel scarcity, it will provide jobs for our people, ultimately make our Naira stronger, improve and increase our agricultural produce. If Nigeria can tackle insecurity, we are in for a good time with a lot of projects coming in from all parts of the country thick and fast like the Lekki deep sea project, the NLG train 7 project, the Akwa Ibom deep sea project, the railway constructions, the petrochemical plant in the SS etc. Africa and the world go hear am in the next few years. We need to be aggressive in Technology too. |
How do I care with propaganda without credibility. Anambra is second commercial after Lagos Anambra ranked third in numbers of commercial banks After Lagos and Abuja ranked second in Micro finance banks after Lagos followed by your big for nothing state Oyo, Anambra top your states in GDP is measures economy that's the point not your Lagos/Ibadan rubbish Below are credible source https://www.cbn.gov.ng/OUT/2011/PUBLICATIONS/STATISTICS/2010/PartA/PartA.html https://www.proshareng.com/news/REGULATORS/The-List-of-882-CBN-Licensed- Microfinance-Banks-in-Nigeria-As-At-Sept-30--2018/42497
If it were an aboki that is writing this, I wouldn't have responded. I expect you as an Igbo guy to be slightly above our aboki brothers from the North. How the number of micro finance banks and the number of banks in a particular state correlate with the development of the state is still a mystery. Stop exposing your hatred and bigotry online; it sucks. |
Broveens42:And who says Yorubas don't want? We only have a different path that doesn't require physical violence. |
Princedapace:I like your write-up, but I beg to differ on the latter part of your message. Some states get revenues from the FG plus their IGR. Infact, what some States command as income surpass what some countries in Africa generate. Until our state governors become proactive and begin to judiciously use what accrues to the state, even if they are given Lagos to govern, there won't be an appreciable improvement. Also, another factor limiting most states is the Constitution. Until some items are removed from the exclusive list of the FG and states are empowered to control their resources, we will always remain on a spot. |
I always tell people, if Yorubas were given their country/region, they would be competing with Japan, Korea etc. Yorubas are really blessed with both human and natural resources. With just six states, they can rule the world. |
Burruchaga71:You don start your attache by force abi? Even the Yorubas that are distant cousins to the Edos won't claim him. |
The way these blacks are claiming Nigeria these days is alarming. You will even see some of them come to Tiktok to celebrate their DNA ancestry test result. |
I swear to God, these abokis/shoe shiners from the North always make me laugh. They have no thinking capacity at all; foolishness is their stock in trade. I NIGERIA were to break up today, North would be worse than Chad or Somalia. Haha ! Foolishness on steroids ! Can't stop laughing. |
God bless Yoruba land. |
Which one be young blue again? Abeg, na baba blue I know. Park well jare ! Anyway, welcome. |
Buhari is a disaster; it's very evident now that this administration has an agenda to grab land belonging to other tribes for his marauding fulani brothers. Dear Buhari, for that to happen, you will have to kill all Southerners before you can take an inch of our land for your terrorist Marauder's |
pacespot:Bros, it's the same train that will pass from Lagos through Abeokuta to Ibadan. It joins 3 states in the South West. |
Chai, Igbos don suffer ! Henceforth, if any Igbo man or woman shout marginalisation again, na thunder go fire the person. |
Twitter should be compelled to have an office in Nigeria, they make the highest incone in Africa from Nigeria and as such must open an office here. It's an aberration to ditch Nigeria for Ghana. For crying out loud, Ghana has just 3million users while Nigeria has over 40million users. |
Yorubas are good in combat sports God bless Oduduwa nation. |
Shiites joining this protest in Abuja is a bad move. Those legitimate protesters should quickly separate themselves from the Shiites. |
Police should be careful not to let what happened during the endsars protest repeat itself, don't push people to take up arms. Let them protect the people to protest. |
mrkings84:Head slammers from the North are too daft. |
Shameless people. |
