@ kola oloye thank you! that's wat I tried to explain to the peeps on that thread. @ blood_shed I got only one reply for you, and it's psalm 14 verse 1 "The fool [a] says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good." 1. Psalm 14:1 The Hebrew words rendered fool in Psalms denote one who is morally deficient. |
true, but I never said that particular story was true, the issue here is do we disregard stuff just because we didn't see it/experience it ourselves? I asked a question in the other thread, I asked why then do we admit the existence of GOD and satan if we haven't seen them physically. we cannot deny the fact that there are evil forces out there with menacing powers, that was why I asked people not to ignore such stories, but pray, not just for themselves, but for Nigeria. |
I was on a thread about a guy that disappeared after wearing a crash helmet given to him by an okada man. along the line, some people doubted the possibility of such an occurrence just because they didn't see it with their own eyes, a particular fellow even tried to prove it with logic that it is totally impossible. I just told em it's a sign of the end days. nairalanders, wat I'd like to know is, IS THE SUPERNATURAL SUBJECT TO LOGIC? please do respond. |
jazz freak Ok Bros, give me one substantive proof & where it happened Huhyou still ain't answered my question, since when has the supernatural been subject to logic? does the fact that you've never seen a witch or a demon mean they don't exist, logic ain't everything mister. like I said before I ain't saying this stuff happened, but let's all be prayerful, a word they say, FRSC has my 100% support on the use of helmets |
@siena what's education got to do with it? these things have been happening for ages, and it won't stop just because people are now "educated", whether we like it or not we are in the "end days" and it had been predicted that a lot of crap'll start to happen, both physical and spiritual. these things are reminders that the lord is coming soon. an adage in Yoruba land says esu lagbara, sugbon ko ni igbala. (the devil is powerful and can give power, but he can't give salvation, cos he ain't got it). |
I am a realist you know. Ritual killing happens and is explainable. But when you say someone wears a helmet and disappeared, unless you can grant me a demonstration, then I will believe.dude let's set things straight 1st i didn't say the story was true, all i just said is the situation calls for prayers. there are a lot of things that are beyond human comprehension, hence they are called mysteries. now do you have to see stuff happen before you believe? dat's living a risky life (so you mean say you don see both GOD and satan before abi? cos you believe theyboth exist). What !I know your type always looking for logical ways to explain things, and when things defy logic, then it can't be real. but guy answer me this if ye please? since when has the supernatural become subject to logic? when i hear stories like this I tend to pray, pray for the nation, pray for the people involved(both those rumored to have suffered, and those flyin da stories). @sojioguns i resent that comment, you've insulted a lot of people by sayin wat you said. |

If you believe disappearing people is a problem, then good luck. I know ritual killing exists, human parts, and stuff, yeah all that is REAL but a man disappearing after wearing a helmet?I really don't understand your point you know ritual killing exists, but you don't believe the ritualists can use diabolical means to kidnap(via teleportation)? funny ![]() |
@sojioguns does pretending the problem doesn't exist solve it? I believe what the poster's trying to do with this post is open our eyes to the evil our people commit because of money(an evil we all know is spreading like wild fire), and make us realize the need to pray for our beloved country. 9ja oni baje, ko si ni daru o! GOD bless Nigeria. |
Bronx_dog@ bronx_dogThis shows that i have been right all along - Nigerians are nothing but funny, dik scratching Hot billies and pussy scratching Hot bitches. Omo ale lo'n fowo asi juwe ile baba re. let me break it down for you, only an illegitimate child disses his roots. |
hmmmn!!! I knew stories like this would start popping up. though this kinda stuff was rumored to have happened way before the use of helmets was made compulsory, there's been no concrete evidence to prove such occurrence, but that doesn't mean these things don't happen. after all the greatest lie of the devil is making people believe he doesn't really exist. |
bravo! bravo!! bravo!!! these dudes deserve an award and a major contract for this. daarsat/HiTv/Multi choice I hope your watching? |

we gunn whoop em tricks. bolton's goin down |
thank you dayokanu I wonder why people always turn a blind eye when hamas and hizbeolah are on the offensive, only to start wailing/name calling whenever Israel puts em in a choke hold. it's a pity a lot of people especially women and children are dying/getting hurt, but it's up to them to weed out the militants, else they'll keep using them as human shields (what kinda man I'll go looking for trouble, then hide behind innocent women and children? I'll tell you a low life retarded bum). let's stop committing atrocities in GOD's name, or we'll pay dearly for it. PLEASE LET'S END THE WAR!!!! FOR THE SAKE OF THE WOMEN & CHILDREN. |
let's put sentiments aside, and call a spade a spade, these people weren't only breaking the laws of the land, they were a big pain in the backsides of lagosians. they caused traffic jams, polluted the environment, their kiosks/counters/stalls provided the perfect hideout for hoodlums after dark. now that we've got a governor that has taken the bull by the horns tongues are wagging (to blazes with alternative arrangements/compensations/hand outs) these people had been warned (both by this admin, and the previous ones), so why cry for them? should we continue to endure the consequences of their actions:endless traffic jams (in which motorists are mugged, precious man hours are lost), pedestrians are deprived of their valuables, ladies are raped on a daily basis, narcotics are sold and abused openly? I say the governor deserves a pat on the back for boldly doing what his predecessors dreaded. I'm also of the opinion that most of those criticizing him either live outside Lagos, are pdp sponsored or do not ply the oshodi route. I remember when the previous admin started the brt project, people screamed and screamed, they said all sorts of things about the project, but i think the project speaks for itself today(though not perfect, it still works very well). I say the governor needs our support to make Lagos more habitable. |
awww dat's too much stress, why can't we have our own child board just like they do in sexuality (under romance)? searching burns too much credit (especially if you're browsing on pay as you browse) have a heart and return the child board or give us a link |
