Politics / Re: Nickel Discovered In Dangoma, Kaduna, Nigeria by tayotemowo(m): 3:41pm On Aug 29, 2016
Well in my opinion this isn't such a bad thing for Nigeria if PMB can be smart enough about the kind of people that are put in charge of the exploitation of the mineral resource. It's not enough to just dig it up and export it how about getting manufacturers of the industries that need it as a major raw material to come and set up shops in the country that way we can also export the finished goods it's used for. I can imagine what the company in charge of Ajaokuta steel mill had been paying to import that material and now we don't have to import that as stated above their are so many things needed now that nickel is used as a major raw material for. Well hope we're smart enough as a nation.

Hey, all this name calling and stuff isn't helping any of us really. Even though I didn't have anything against the past president because from everything I've heard so far he's a good man even though I've not met him one on one to know any better, in my opinion he was too soft was the only issue I had with him. Because in the real sense if he had been a bit firmer I'm sure we wouldn't have decided to vote for Buhari (call him what you may Daura President or whatever) he's the first democratically elected president that has given us a glimpse of the powers a president has and how much he can achieve if he puts his mind to it. Has there ever been one that makes the so called powers behind the scene shake like this? I hope that the looted funds that are being recovered are put to good use and that we really are recovering this loots we're hearing about and we really will have much to rejoice about in this nation. That not with standing we need to stop insulting people like GEJ he seems to have done the little he could really cool

Well sincerely I don't know what book you guys are talking about but I'm sure it's not the game of thrones collections which I've read and as far as I'm concerned GRRM as you guys have christianed him can do no wrong. The book in my opinion couldn't be better written any other way. OK tell me who would you have preferred be the main character? Ned Stark? Who is too stiff? Rob Stark? who isn't intelligent in anyway, or any of the Baratheons please I don't see any heroes in this guys. But Jon Snow, Arya Stark and the dragon mother now this are truly worthy heroes and my main man Thyrion Lannister that's my best person in the book all of this one's are still alive and you keep saying he's killing of the main characters. Please he's on the right path oh there's still the Jon Snow part I mentioned as still a main character. I'm practically writing his book for him. The presence of Lady Melissandre tells me he'll be brought back to life since he had to die to leave the brotherhood of black and he couldn't do the things he has to do while he's a brother, that's why they say and now his watch is over (in fact I believe it is so we can know this fact that we were shown some funeral of some brothers) he's going to be brought back to life just as Starks wife was brought to life.

Don't know nor do I have any evidence to prove it but it's just becoming too coincidental or what do you guys think?

That he said it's a civilian rule means he has committed an offence or what? The so called military illiterate sure don't know that civilians have even more right than they do but because their leaders have repeatedly done coup-de-tat and have seemed to get away with it seems to have empowered them so much that they don't realise that they are to serve and respect the civilians and not the other way around. The government pays them from our taxes and not the other way.

The funny thing a lot of people don't realise is that sometime when you begin to sense some foul play and you decide to collect your money they actually give you back paper instead of your money. They actually wrap some money around a couple of paper cut to the size of money I almost fell for it once but I was lucky I notice it early and this is because I had been duped once before and a condemned bold 2 phone was sold to me for a good amount of money. I think the only way to stop them doing it to you is to always buy a phone inside a shop inside computer village if not from a very popular shop like slot or its kind then a real shop there. Walahi I'm still hoping I can organise for this people one day and organize someone preferably an off uniformed military or police officer to scout my moves from a distance until they've finished an believe me to be going and then pick them up one by one and lock them up and treat their Bleep ups for along while.

Obviously a lot of us don't know the difference between transgender issues and homosexuals. According to a program I listened to on Nigeriainfo today the 26th of October the young child had a from birth issue where she had her clitoris almost as large as a little penis and because people saw it like that they just assumed she was a boy when in fact she is a girl. The whole program was just supposed to show what she went thru when people tot she's a male but she felt she was female.................................. down like that and then possibly (this is because I've haven't seen the series not like I like watching anything series especially all those their reality shows where they only show what they want people to think) what she went thru after she went thru the operation that corrected the issue for her meeting the people that knew her as a boy and now see her as a lady ( I mean people like you, who don't try to understand something before their share their myopic opinions and all). Even though I'm not sure I would have understood myself if I hadn't listened to that program with the medical doctor who was invited to the program and who explained all of this things well to all the listeners I wish Nigeriainfo would just repeat that program so that more people will listen to it. So what am I saying most of us Nigerians don't even try to understand what the issue on ground is before we share an opinion and most times that opinion isn't correct. I would have taught that a body like nbc would have requested that they want watch the program before they follow the opinions of people who think they are doing the right thing but aren't this isn't a case like that guy that said he felt like a woman but really was a man since he could father children unless Kim and what are their other names in that program are not his children and the whole show has always been a lie even from the onsetm but this a serious illness and the correction. So what am I saying Nigerians don't always allow yourself to be pulled around by the ring nose like an ox always listen and find out for yourself before you share that opinion that most times are very wrong and misleads other people even further because they believed that you shared it with because you knew what you were saying in the first place only you know you didn't know jack.

I don't understand why Nigerians won't ever learn that name calling doesn't help anybody. cheesy I concur. The name Nnamdi does noes connote wisdom just like bearing the name Mandiba does not mean you're doing right by your people. As much as I don't see any right for him to be incarcerated unless found guilty of some charge, though I don't think it will be difficult for plenty to be found.
The man may think he's trying to do right for the Biafran cause but I've never seen a more idiotoc way of causing harm to any cause than this, even the ways he advises violence is stupid. As much as we all say we have right to freedom there's a saying even by those that brought about the freedom speech "so long as your right to freedom does not cause harm to the freedom of another person" or something around that. His speeches has been causing fear for a lot of Nigerians. The first time I saw and heard him spouting the arrant rubbish that he was on I think was it facebook or some online platform I was disappointed that someone that says he's fighting for the emancipation of a people could be saying this kind of nonsense.
In as much as I want to agree that what was done to our eastern brothers and sisters was wrong very wrong, I still want to believe the bible in the saying that "all things work together for good for them that love God and are called according to His purpose" you say why am I quoting the bible here abi? Has it occurred to you guys that the Igbos may not have been this entrepreneurial if they hadn't gone thru what they did even though it was a bad thing that happened to them didn't it result in good for them now they are as good in business as the Israelis are and here you're still fighting for yourself when God himself is fighting for you. But then what do I know I just see what I see, who knows who else see it like that?
He doesn't deserve to be killed let him be prosecuted found guilty and incarcerated and lets see if he won't be forgotten in six months.

That wil happen at the initial stage, but by the time the offenders are prosecuted extremely, it wil stop.

That's not the only way to go about it sef. To do it you make the bicycles a particular type and make sure no one bring the type into the country or better still start a bicycle company that makes the peculiar so that anyone that you see like that you know it's not for individual that way shame will not even allow people to take it home because people will know it's for the public and not yours.

How many Nigerian can ride a Bicycle

Believe me if we have reasons to ride a lot know how to and others that don't can learn to. My mum rode a bike at age fifty something and I was surprised when she did so if we make that as a means of transportation by making ways for them (bike ways) people will be encouraged to do it. I once rode a bicycle to work one day (it's not that long a journey - from Surulere to Obanikoro) but the fear I experienced was from danfo and other motorists on the road was enough to discourage anybody that wants to learn it.

That was his exact words. So cheer up bro!

Even though I've not read any one after the death of Jon stark I was always of the opinion that that red lady with the king will bring him back to live because she has the power to do it and she needs him for her plans as well as the kings to work but then this is my guess the real interest I have is with Arya men that girl has trained so well to become an assasin so I'm thinking she may be the one to avenge all the Starks and their injuries and insults. But then the story goes on as to what happens to the girl is that Sasha with little-finger men you just can't guess what happens in a book where the author doesn't mind killing off the main characters.

if only Buhari agreed to represent Boko haram when they appointed him as their spokes person in negotiating with the federal government, by now boko haram would have been a forgotten issue but he refused because he is gaining from their attacks.

And if he had agreed to speak on their behalf and be their spokes person and they had stopped, all of you would have said it's because he knew who they were and wanted them to stop also if they had continued of increased their attacks the same people would have said it was because he wanted them to continue so they can make Jonathan vacate the seat of the presidency and now that he had chosen not to speak on their behalf you say he should have. You see you people are just proving the truth of that proverb that say no matter what you do you can never satisfy the world. On the other hand Jonathan had a big hand in his fall he had a lot of opportunity to correct a lot of things that he didn't see now we are seeing the numerous faults one like the person up there said he could have shown some backbone and enforced some of the things that he saw were necessary like remove the ministers he appointed who were not doing the needed, but did he? Of course not. When it was needed for him to speak up and even punish the ones who were erring he didn't do anything either infact his mistakes are too many to count and to add to that his being a good person has nothing to do with his not wanting to step on toes but that is one of the reason for a good person to be known in that when people are doing the wrong things and you're looking the other way especially when you can do something about it and have the legal power do it and you're not a good person but rather a bad one that's just pretending. Mean while we have a president that's doing the right thing he may be slow but he's working and doing it right let's give him time. I may not agree with a lot of his methods but I'm willing to give him the chance.

Someone just lost his fiancee and to make matters worse he's being detained..double tragedy..he should be questioned and released not detained..nigerian police and their archaic way of doing things...

Old boy you obviously didn't get the gist they said the lover not the fiance which means she had a fiance she was going to get married to and then a lover. So obviously she was cheating on her fiance with this man and that's what warranted his being arrested and put in detention. Even though it may still be wrong because the said man may not know anything about it because since he was getting it already why would he rape her but then as the bible says "the heart of man is wicked" who can tell if he did it to spite her or someone else even so the man deserves his day in court and is not guilty until proven so.
