What should you expect from a poor and unhospitality called isolation center. They might possibly feel insecure and treat to life. I think there should be proper orientation for the victims of this virus and make them feels at home in the isolation center. Give them proper treatment and care they never get before in thier entire life. Make them feel better than a victim of circumstance and see if any of them would run away thereafter. |

Sammy07: Then why will the infected citizen run away from isolation centre if not for ulterior motives? i'm not saying any one at isolation center should run away but is shot on sight the best way to control such situation ? What if they are capture alive and guid under strict supervision. How on earth would they have to escape in the first instant if the security at the isolation center are compitent and know what they are doing. Say No to killing on sight. That could lead to lot of things if you think deeply. |

Kenn55: While money is good, the most important resource in times like this is infrastructure and technology. At some point, you will have the money but you might not be able to buy as countries put restrictions on their export to ensure that they can meet up their local demand. It is already happening now.
A lot of US,UK, Canada and most European companies have retooled and are now producing ventilators, test kits, vaccines and other equipment for their front line workers. This is what they were not doing before because they were importing them from China. But as demand skyrocket and China cannot even meet up demand coupled with the fact they have their own problem, they had to start manufacturing by force.
The question is how could they have retooled and started manufacturing? The answer is because even though they were not manufacturing before now, they had the technical know how and infrastructure to support manufacturing. So while some countries will be trying to import supplies because they don't have the capacity to manufacture, others will produce from within to meet their demand at least till the crisis is over and this is the key to overcome a pandemic like this. Right now, we are relying on money which is not even enough.
I hope that when all this is over, Nigerians will take development seriously because lack of development is dangerous. That is exactly what has affected every aspect of life and every sector of this country. Lack of equipment and lot of ammenities in our university laboratry. What new innovation has any of our scince and technology institution brought to the development of this nation ? You can even imaging this our billionaire donating billions to fight this pandemic invited experts from abroad and most of their materials and equipment use in thier various company are order from abroad. How many of them make use of nigeria product in thie various houses. Including the product they consume on daily basis. How do we develop when we keep on consuming foreign product in our so called society. We value foreign designers more than our fabrics. I only pray for better leader that have a great idea and not self center orianted leader. |

Shellsploit: Prayer for Nigeria in Distress.
All powerful and merciful Father. You are the God of Justice, Love and peace, you rule over all the nations of the earth. Power and might are in your hands and no one can withstand you. We present our country Nigeria before you, we praise and thank you for you are the source of all we have and are.
We are sorry for all the sins we have committed and the good deeds we have failed to do. In your loving forgiveness, keep us safe from the punishments we deserved. Lord, we are weighed down not only by uncertainties but also by moral, economic and political problems. we are weighed down by clueless and inept leaders. Listen to the cries of your people who confidently turn to you.
God of infinite goodness, our strength in adversity, our health in weakness, our comfort in sorrow. Be merciful, to us your people; spare this nation Nigeria from chaos, anarchy and doom. Spare us bad leaders. Bless us with your kingdom of Justice, Love and Peace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen Amen in jesus name. |

Lisaint: Ooh it thought its today before We await the to hear from the Supreme Court tomorrow.. Am really interested in the case Thou am not an akungba indigene but I just felt the state government and the local government is really cheating them cause they have no king, There is no one to speak for the town in official capacity.. Neither the state or local government has any project ongoing or commissioned there... And it house a source of revenue to the state government Take a look at the light situation, network, infrastructure, even the primary school sare just their without adequate attention...
I heard there's is a rd down permanent site that leads to Okah.. Network like that ought to be open But I think the scared throne has alot to offer in terms of development and representation Wow... I must confess to you that I gladly appreciate your concerns and your view about the town . Yes you're right again.. This town has been one of the major source of revenue generate to the state and yet lack enough government attention. Imaging a town that hold the state university without king since 2003 till date . God bless you again brother for your observation. |
