Until you are using gas and it runs out on you on the expressway. for this to work we need many more natural gas stations suitably distributed across the country. |
the rubbish family should tell us why the office of the NSA is paying for "media" . Is the NSA the media arm of PDP? they will vomit all our money by force. PMB No mercy! |
OP solution to your problem is simple. Just get a police report and declare your old passport missing/stolen. with this you can go to any immigration office and apply for a new one. this time do it in akwaibom. why travel all the way to Lagos in the first place is there no passport office in akwaibom? |
you politely declined the job? ha you no need work in the first place. |
it depends on what you want. If you are desperate for marriage better marry Joe. because even In 2 years time things might not still work out for Daniel the way he wants, then no marriage. He might end up hurt and all But believe me you are doing him a favour. let the guy pursue his dreams without you standing akimbo looking expectantly at him everyday pointing at your biological clock. He is a focused intelligent guy whatever happens he will get over it. I am speaking from experience. |
what breed is this? |
Why now FG? why reduce it right there. .. that is free money to repair our refinaries plus extra change. MTN deserves all the get. They don't pity us with their ridiculous data charges and stealing of credit through dubious subscriptions. You will just be pressing your phone and suddenly they send a flash message asking you to subscribe for one thing or the other knowing you might mistakenly press yes. what kind of scam is that? |
I wonder how the other newspaper called them APC members. what useless journalism. GEJ where is our missing $20 billion NNPC money? you want to fake your death and run like Alameishegha ba? it won't work! You and deizani will vomit that money. nonsense. |
are they pure breeds or mixed? |
RIP. we need to know the full details of what exactly happened in that attack and how many lives lost. the military can't keep hiding this iformation. |
how does this phone interview thing work... will they email you or call you ahead of time to fix a time for the interview? or they just call you out of the blue and interview you? I'm expecting one that's why I'm asking.. |
the journalists who wrote this article have no sense at all and should be ashamed of themselves . are they saying if Dan Ali had become the president there will be issues with the military top brass as they "cannot" take orders from their junior who is now C in C? what arrant nonsense. By virtue of the office Dan Ali holds he is superior to them and they are to take orders from him. Even if Buhari appointed a retired coporal to be defence minister it's non of their business, they are to respect that office irrespective of who is there . |
we are tired of all these probe probe probe with no end result. what happened to fuel subsidy probe years ago? farouk lawan is still a free man . All these senator fools know is to shout probe after collecting 'probe' allowance nothing will come out of it at then end of the day. |
this is what happens when you put illiterate touts in offices of responsibility. They have no slightest idea of rule of law, conduct and human rights. |
I thought they boko haram claim western education is a sin. Now they are using tools from Educational trust fund to fight for their Allah. what an irony. bunch of confused dolts. |
redcliff:thanks man |
redcliff:please how much did you buy this paint using the colour code from audi. thanks |
rhymz:It's easy to sit in your comfortable neighbourhood with probably tens of private hospitals within your reach including several secondary and tertiary health institutions easily accessible to you in case of health emergencies and call this country a jungle but for a majority of Nigerians who live in rural communities this is not so. these are the harsh realities on ground well known to us in the medical field we are adequately trained for such . Where I did my internship you don't get signed off until you have done some basic surgeries under supervision and picked up a few skills to prepare you for rural medicine then you can go out and do them in the field with confidence. Alarm all you want and lament on the "recklessness" of the authorities meanwhile tens of thousands of lives are being saved daily by corps medics. I wonder what you want the authorities to do that will not include better incentives for health workers to go to rural areas. But when they reduce pay for the professionals sustaining the rural system you jubilate. in countries like US and Australia primary care health workers are being encouraged with crazy money to go work in rural and remote areas but when health workers in Nigeria strike for better pay which will encourage better spread of health professionals rather than them being clustered in big cities due to economic reasons people come on nairaland and shout blue murder they should do humanitarian work like we don't shop in the same markets or pay the same bills and taxes. Your stressing of the word "service" doesn't mean they should work for free or for silly money. after all military Service they get paid , or maybe fire service should work for free since the word service is included in their name. The indisputable FACT is that the average corp Health professional who is usually posted to govt institutions does more work in terms of time and workload and shoulders more responsibility than the average other Corp member (mostly in govt institutions too) wherever they are serving, Which is mostly schools anyway and as such they can NEVER be paid the same. Corpers posted to private institutions such as banks, oil companies etc in their respective fields get paid well by such institutions. The health service is considered essential services that is why during public holidays, curfews, state of emergencies , elections etc most of you people sit your as.ses at home and watch telemundo while this group of people are exempted and are expected to move around their normal duties. Thank God you saw a perfect example of what happened in your Sokoto where you served. The Corpers moved towards areas where there is better incentive for them . This exactly what will happen in ebonyi state ultimately they will be the losers. we can't be doing humanitarian work for useless pay. We are not Jesus Christ. Even NGO's that do so called charity work pay their workers sumptuous pay. |
rhymz:Dey Der let pant wear you. you claim to serve in sokoto and corpers running a general hospital is news to you. well welcome to reality. how many doctors do you think we have in the whole of Nigeria? it's not your fault Sha. no wonder you are so shocked about the pay, you have no idea what work the corpers do. I have a friend who manned singlehandedly a hospital servicing 2 big local governments he being the only doctor available for miles. I did CS, appendicetomy, herniorapphies, ectopic pregnancies , ovarian cysts, removed fibroids removed bladder stones even prostatectomy as a corper unsupervised heck who is available to supervise? these are basic things primary care doctors should be able to do in Nigeria and you are trained for such. After doing all these sometimes at very odd hours of the night when other corpers here wailing are busy enjoying sound sleep with their babe's, you will be paid 15k ...tufiakwa. any doctor sent there had better redeploy else hunger will kill you. |
Onyiridike:Lmao at the bolded . all because you studied biochemistry. this reminds me of a saying of one of my professors...and I quote him " Any fool with half a brain can treat any fever or headache as malaria and typhoid but when they start pisssing blood, or convulsing or having serious abdominal distension with massive rock hard spleen, with hyphema that is when they will remember you are a doctor and some will come to you half dead after trying whatever antibiotics and paracetamol they can get their hands on" Lmao..carry on my sister one day monkey go go market and come back with k leg...we are waiting for you in the Accident and emergency. We won't turn you away , it's our Job and we are well trained for it. |
The 130k in itself wasn't even regular and most state governments don't pay on time...you find yourself being owed 9 months . Most doctors have to do some other small jobs on the side either way it has always been as good as them not paying any allowance. I see NYSC as a Time to gather valuable experience and any smart doctor who knows what he wants will use that 1 year as such. Forget about the money when you have picked up valuable skills the money will roll in later. The best place to gather hands on experience is in the North but you find most doctors running away from the north. you are probably the only qualified health professional in a local govt and you man the health Centre or even general hospital. you get to do a lot of procedures and perfect your skills and after NYSC you take those skills anywhere you want and work with them, skills acquired can never be taken away from you. Although where I served in the north I earned way more than this 130k and i had collegues in federal institutions who didn't get up to that but with Private practice able to sum up way more than that because demand for doctors is high. But it's wasn't about the money for me, I was more after the experience. However it's also not fair for one to expect a doctor to work for 15k month. it's entirely ridiculous. you cannot be seeing tens to hundreds of patients daily , run clinics, attend to emergencies , do surgeries take deliveries , work weekends and night calls etc and get paid 15k. The state govt cannot expect you to work as a full Medical officer and pay you 15k just because you are a corper. with this joke of a pay corpers should only run morning clinics 8am to 12pm , work Monday to Friday just like every other 'equal' corper. |
Present247:Imo state government is owing workers about 7 months salary. Better forget it if you want to serve in state govt hospital. you will not see any pay. My friends posted to general hospitals are crying. |
how does this work? |
Hello guys anybody know where I can get materials for Anesthesia primaries both national and west africa? plus anybody who has passed these primaries I'll love to get some ideas from you. thanks |
trendphemmy:I don't think neurosurgery has its own direct primaries. . you write primaries for surgery , enter general surgery residency then after your part 1 you now move on to neurosurgery subspecialty and write that for your part 2. |
if I have this fitted to in secret compartment how do I get it to be charging? |
donodion:What does hematuria have to do with anything? obviously you don't even know what uric acid and hematuria means. I suggest you research. As a healthcare provider, a self mobilizing client (or patient) on routine check up,however with abnormalties found in diagnostic test of say urine sample, what category of medication would you prescribe to treat or reverse abnormal findings?, step doses (such as effective, inexpensive, well-tolerated drugs that physicians regularly prescribe to treat common problems.) or High risk component medication with severe side effects such as Allopurinol? No offense but you are talking absolute rubbish here. Medical practice doesn't take guidelines based on your own "common sense and reasoning". Obviously you haven't been anywhere close to medical school. what are "step doses (such as effective, inexpensive , well-tolerated drug, regularly prescribed etc etc)" kinda drugs will be used to treat hyperuricemia? Apart from allopurinol (Zyloric ) we have Probenacid and febuxostat which are not readily available, not as cheap, and have their own potential side effects such as liver damage and necrosis even heart block and many more. Every drug has side effects and adverse effects. And oh the fact that a patient's walks to you with his two legs doesn't mean all is well and he is not at great risk. you have no idea how high the uric acid level was and what risks it posed to his organs like kidneys and his health in general. |
amparas:what test should the doctor carry out to know if the patient has allergies? which one did you invent that is widely available and we can use? pls name the test. |
the pharmaceutical company and the doctor are not at fault ...it is an unfortunate side effect and can happen to anyone with any drug. many drugs people take routinely can cause SJS and other severe drug reactions like cough and cold medications, antibiotics even tramadol boys abuse anyhow. it's just what it is. Even after taking a drug history one can still come down with SJS. Its unlikely the man has taken allopurinol (Zyloric) before so he wouldnt even know he reacts to it. The man is just unfortunate. |
