I always force my lo 2 take it, but wen I tasted it, I regretted buying it. Wen I give her friso gold, she takes it without stress bt wen it comes 2 d nutrend, na war. I'm switching 2 cerelac once dis tin finish. Sorry 4 d ranting.

Hi everyone, recently my 5 YO Daughter is facing constipation issue. I'm so worrying because she told me that sometimes her stomach is quite pain and she never poo for 4 days. Have u given plenty fruits including orange juice? plenty water? If it has persisted, u can tk her to d hospital.

Kimoni is very correct. Check d pack of golden closely, u ll see whr its written 'golden morn is not an infant cereal' and u kno most infant cereals are usu 6months-3yrs. So dont gv him golden morn yet.

Forgive me, bt i really dont undstd y some mamas dont hv confidence in their drs. U shld cross check d info u get here wt ur dr and nt d oda way round. I think dat confidence is impt, if u dont hv confidence in him, I ll suggest u use anoda. Dont misunderstand my post, bt I m finding it difficult understanding y u re afraid to tk a drug he prescribed and y u didnt ask him questions.

Eeya, pele mama. Its really heartbreaking to watch ur child refuse food. I ll suggest u try oda options. Puree fruits for him, mash fish, u cld also try nutriben children love it. Try nt to gv just one meal per tym for a long tym so he doesnt get too used to it. For formular, just mix it wt his cereals and d puree too. Let us kno how it goes.Wish u luck.

Pls mamas, I wud like to ask a question. My son has this grunting noise dat accompanies his breathing esp @ nyt. The noise sounds like as if mucus is blocking his chest. @ 1st I tot it was cattarh and av used a lot of tings but its dere. A nurse told me that its becos dey didn't suck d mucus out after I delivered him & that with time he wud outgrow it. Pls is dis true cos it breaks my heart to hear d grunting noise & its more audible @ nyt.

Let it nt break ur heart, as it ll pass as he develops. It has nothing to do wt suctioning @ birth. As long as he doesnt hv active catarrh or cough u really dont hv to gv any drugs. He ll stop it as his respiratory system develops better.

Lol...it's not impossible that he is teething but it is very rare. I suspect he's not really teething except if he is drooling and fussy as well.

However, you can buy him colorful teething toys too, he will grow into them.

Some babies actually start teething as early as 2-3 months. @Fexcathy, u dont really hv to gv any drugs, just pcm if he has fever. Get d toy as suggested bt pls sterilize it properly

I saw the rashes on his body. They came on sat n I stil saw the rash yesterday. What do I do pls. Can a 6months old contact measles? Can he receive d vaccine at 6months? Pls help me on what to do.

Hullo dear. Its possible for a 6month old to hv measles. If his mothet(u in dis case) , did nt receive d vaccine then there wont b any maternal immunity passedto him. Or if there was 'vaccine failure' in ur case. If ur child has measles already, DO NOT gv d measles vaccine. I ll say tk him to d hospital to b examined by a paed, so u ll b sure. Bt in all dont get too worked up. Next tym tho, protect ur infant frm such exposures. Cheers mama!

Your village porridge looks nice. It is good to know there are still people who can prepare hygienic food in the African villages. Palm oil is mainly meant for making soaps and I don't think it is healthy for human consumption.

Onye a o jikwa ahu?? Palm oil nt good for human consumption , cos its used in making soaps? Wot do u use to cook ur soup
