yep, d folic acid s fine. But u may hv to change d obron6 cos d components may nt gv u all u want, like d iron component, calcium etc.

I think there's a gape kind of but its not painful and doesn't look like a wound, I don't even know where my vag.na is and recalling that sewing experience makes me cringe. The reason they gave for the 3weeks wait was because they used elastic thread for the sewing.

Wch 1 s elastic thread? Its d same thread dst s used to suture episiotomy. If d gape u re seeing isnt so wide, then no need to worry. Bt i ll strongly advice u start ur sitz bath ASAP.It ll help d healing process. Hope u were given pain killers?

@mamas, please I had these tears when I put to bed and the nurses that attended to me said I shouldn't sit on hot/warm water till after 3weeks when it might have healed.

My dear, sitz bath is commenced as soon as possible after delivery. Wch one s 3wks? Sit in warm water to wch u shld add savlon and salt.U shld actually sit IN d water so get a wide-mouthed bowl. Abt d site, it wont look pretty at all for nw.lol.Since u re seeing thread, its likely its still intact. U ll b worried if u start seeing a gaping wound/sore.

@ 6months, a baby can tk family food.So as long as he tolerates d cheese balls, y nt? Nothing wrong wt it @all.
There re yoghurts for babies(gerber, pascual etc)

Please mamas, i have observed my six wks old son and i discovered that when breastfeeding or formular feeding him he makes some kind kind of queer noise,then stretches his body & cry as if in pains then discontinue feeding,then resumes feeding again & does same thing over & over again until he finish feeding. I'm just wondering cos i didnt really experience this with my first who's a female. Could this be the colic we always talk about? Is it a male thing? Cos i never experience such with my dd

lol. its most likely colic. i dont think its a gender thing. its just nt so pronounced in some babies.

I'm contemplating VBAC 11mths after CS, mostly because it's what my doctors prefer and secondly it's cheaper.

Whatt do you think? I got preg 8 - 10 weeks after the last delivery, sincerely, it's given me sleepless nights because I'm due in August and the docs want my decision before end of July.

11months s quite close o. Most tyms, every woman is given an opportunity to try vag delivery(unless there s an absolute indication for cs). Bt i wld hv preferred an elective cs. Ur dr will hv to monitor u very very closely wen u re in labor. U wont need to labor for long to avoid rupture

Mamas we can worry unecssarily sometimes o. Sess as u dey shout imagine for 9kg@ 6months.Wetin u want odaa mamas to talk na.Biko dat weight s completely normal for his age. Some babies dont tk food easily, so since he keeps d food down wen u feed him, then u re fine. nt all kids tk formula too.just mix in his pap ad cereals. u dont need to waste dmilk.na money b dat biko.

lol. mama abeg tell ur SIL to relax, her baby s fyn. My baby started wt dat style too b4 d proper crawling. In fact, wen he started crawling, he ll raise one knee up and crawl wt just one knee. These children eh.

Mama, its false dat u cant tk malaria drugs if u test positive(significantly) cos d malaria can harm ur baby if left untreated. There re safe drugs for ur stage. Pls go to d hospital and b seen by ur dr.
