You write so little but spew much nonsense. So ICJ rulings are political? Seems you just encountered the word recently and apply it out of context at will. You guys never fail to amaze everyone.

Quite amazing is the attempt to cloak the sufferings in Gaza by GDP comparisons with African nations. LIKE WTF. Still writing little and spewing so much nonsense. According to the UN before the present crisis, 80% of Gaza inhabitants relied on international aid. UNCTAD reported that in 2023 unemployment rate in GAZA was 45% and one of highest in world.

You claim many at the UN are the reason why the crisis never ends. Wow! Seems the prophet of the word 'political' has no inkling of international politics. grin
Before reading this, I advise you to read my post below which directly addresses your legitimate concern. Even though you are being very emotional, it seem to be more honest than most of the Nairaland team Hamas hence, I have decided to further educate you.
Let's do it point by point.

1. The international bodies use different rules for the Israel-Arab conflict from any other similar conflict. Let me explain.
In other conflicts over the legitimacy of land and borders, the borderline is drawn at the point where the battle freezes.
Here are some examples.
A. China vs Taiwan. Both claim legitimacy to each other's land and government. Even though by 1980, most of the world stopped recognizing Taiwan as a country and technically, the war never ended, the world respects the war front boundaries as their international borderline.
B. North and South Korea, are still technically at war yet the recognized borderlines rest at the point where the last battles ended.
C. Chile vs Bolivia and Peru. Today, Bolivia no longer has an oceanfront because Chile took it all at war. Chile also took up part of Peru. There is zero international pressure for Chile to return any land despite the two countries doing all they can to get their lands back.
D. Most of Europe's borders were drawn by war.
Then we have Israel returning Gaza and parts of the West Bank. They are the only country to willingly do so. Yet the international community is pressuring them to do more.

2, I am sure you don't know that 800,000 to 900,000 Jews were kicked out of various Arab countries in the late 40s and early 50s. These were lands they occupied for over 200 years in some cases. Yet, you don't see anyone fighting for them and you don't see Jews terrorizing Iraq or Morroco to get their lands back.

3. Between 1948 and 1967, the Palestinians never fought Egypt for Gaza and non-Jordan for the West Bank. They also had the opportunity of forming an independent country in 1948 but they rejected it. These people do not know what they want.

4. Finally the Palestinians are the only people in this world who claim genocide is being committed against them yet their population is growing faster than most places in the world. It does not add up.
If you are interested in fighting and lending your voice to the true victims of genocide, you would be talking about the Kurds. They are the most victimized people in the Middle East yet your pro-Hamas bunch never talks about them. And your friends at the UN don't take them seriously.

Please educate your pro-Hamas friends with the facts.

It's easy to claim that I spew nonsense yet you can't prove anything I have said to be wrong.

At least this time you attempted to challenge one of my points so let me respond to the only point you made.

Is it not amazing that with 45% unemployment, yet Gaza has lower poverty than nations like. Nigeria, Burundi and Niger.
Here are the UNDP figures for Gaza.

https://www.undp.org/press-releases/poverty-state-palestine-set-soar-more-third-if-war-continues-second-month
Is it not crazy, these people don't work yet you are poorer than them grin grin.

Also please go to the link below so you can understand that UN resolutions are all about voting and politics. With 57 countries as members of the international Islamic community (the OIC) and only one Jewish state, one would be a fool to expect a different result from these resolutions.
https://news.un.org/en/story/2023/12/1144717
Stop believing lies.
Meanwhile I am still waiting for you to explain how every UN resolution isn't political. Anyone who can prove that deserves a gold medal.

No one has insulted you.It does not work with me.Stop trying to look for an avenue to throw victim sentiments on an argument.

You are even the one dancing around naked with a broken trumpet screaming " terrorist supporters" on anyone who speaks against the indiscriminate killing of women and children in hospitals.

No one is supporting Hamas but all united( except the US and its brainwashed supporters) against genocide, dehumanision of a people, land theft and ethnic cleansing and we have have to tell ourselves the truth about the remote and immediate causes of their actions. if you still have a little bit of humanity in you, you will realise what the UN has been trying to achieve peace but for US veto.

Did you just suggest that ICJ rulings are political? I guess there is no point engaging you then.
You write so much but you are making no points.

To sum up all you are saying, because more nations voted to find Israel guilty then Israel must be guilty of genocide.

Please let me teach you the meaning of the 'political'
When you depend entirely on a vote to find a country guilty, that's the meaning of politics.

Then again you are trying to be sentimental talking about me not having humanity but the truth is that people like you are your UN are the only reason why this crisis never ends.

You made the Palestinians eternal victims.
Before October 7th, Gaza had a GDP per Capita better than many African nations but people like you keep giving them excuses go be terrorists and to be stupid.

And stop blaming the US for all your problems. The US has done more for the Palestine people than all their Arab brothers put together.

You seem incapable of comprehending a simple comment on moral suation as a guiding principle to deter nations to an extent from territorial adventurism. If these resolutions are meaningless like you say, why have they continually been passed? Non enforcement resolutions may not be legally binding in the eyes of the myopic but the voting patterns and numbers shows how the world views the actions of the terrorist state, Israel. The country with the most UN resolutions against it.

You may educate yourself more on the rulings of the ICJ on the Israeli wall and occupation. Maybe then you may grow to understand that the fact that some resolutions are not enforceable does not mean they do not carry weight.

Keep your wiki link for your personal study. Even a school kid knows the difference between chapter vi and vii of the UN charter and how the US abuses vetoes to prevent enforcement.
You spent so much time writing and insulting but forgot to explain you position. All you Hamas supporters are the same. The moment you meet someone who is ready to counter your claims you begin to call names.

One more thing, the ruling against Israel carries zero weight. There has been little to no consequences. The resolutions are just child's play. And the world is not a better place because of the UN or it's resolutions.
We both agree that the UN members voted to find Israel guilty of many things. But unlike you, I don't believe that justice should be entirely political. But you seem angry and unable to sell your argument. No one is contesting the fact that the UN found Israel guilty.

Let me leave you here so it doesn't become an insult contest.

Let me explain.
A UN resolution only means more nations voted one way or the other. Hence it's boils down to politics.
Again the idea that UN resolutions is what's stopping invasions is false.
The UN resolutions did not stop the Iraq vs Iran war, the gulf wars, Russia vs Ukraine, Second Congo War (the African world war) so why exactly are you excited about UN resolutions?

I'm not an anyone's side as I'm neither directly or indirectly affected by the ongoings there.

And the last time I checked, Houthis are still allowing ships not linked to Israel to sail through the Red Sea ⛵. It became a media noise as it was US's vassal state that was affected by the Houthis sanctions. When all is said and done, everyone is protecting their interests so I can only look on and see the endgame to this Middle East political problem from the media. Whoever is right or wrong is none of my concern.
Some of the world's biggest shipping companies have stopped using the red sea. Already international shipping is more expensive and it is affecting the final consumer.
Linked below are the list of companies that have suspended Red sea shipping.

https://www.rappler.com/business/list-shipping-companies-avoiding-red-sea-houthi-attacks/

One way or the other we the consumers are affected.
Again just because you have no interest in the middle east doesn't mean that those who are interested one way or the other are hypocrites

which automatically absolves Iran of any wrongdoing through proxy. If we can agree the US and others are right to send Ukraine weapons to protect their interests, then we can as well agree with Iran helping their interests by doing same through the Houthis although in a minimal level. Anyone frowning to the Houthis but praising arms shipment to Ukraine is nothing but a shameless hypocrite.

End 🔚.
It only depends on which side you are on. For US allies, Iran sending arms to the Houthis is not to their advantage. And for all the countries who depend on ships passing through the red sea the arming the Houthis is bad news.
But if you are excited at the news of civilian ships being captured I will understand your excitement at the arming of the Houthis.
If you are also against the funding of terrorists you may not be too happy with the arming of the Houthis are the are currently terrorizing international waters.

She should have left them till the sister returns back.

If na me..... she will buy back those formula..

When you leave your child in the care of someone else, don't expect them to treat your child like you do. Expect them to treat your child as they treat theirs.

Throwing tins of baby formula away and breastfeeding the baby without the birth mother's permission is so very wrong and not safe because of chances of infection, reason they have to thoroughly screen women before donating breast mil, make baby no go drink syphilis, Hepatitis B and C join.

In the olden days, it was it way to go for any baby who lost his mother or who's mother was no available for breastfeeding.
Breast milk is also much healthier.
I understand a modern day mother not being too comfortable with that but it's a simple matter they should talk over as sisters

In 2023, we needed to vote for a very frugal leader. We needed someone that would reduce our spending. But clearly, we got another spending machine.
I remember Kemi Adeosun telling us that the borrowing and spending was going to save the economy. It's clear that she never knew what she was talking about.

Facts! Facts and more facts I bring. I am not going to elevate Hamas into sainthood but Israel is a state that is involved in barbaric ethnic cleansing, genocide and crimes against humanity. They have also consistently contraved UN resolutions for decades.

By the way, hope you can manage to read the reasons I stated earlier for the Egyptian closure of the Raffah crossing.
You are just doing what you said you wouldn't do. Secondly, the UN resolution does not mean much. Just because Pakistan and any other nation voted against Israel does not mean they are right.
So if you really want to look at facts, I would be interested but presenting UN resolution as your facts is just being political.
Facts are facts and votes for or against don't change that.
More nations voted against Israel is not prove of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and crimes against humanity.

Shalom.
Stop playing to the emotions. We both know what would happen if there is free flow of movement between Israel and Gaza. And it's hypocritical to accuse Israel of creating an open air prison in Gaza since Gaza has a common border with Egypt.
No one is accusing Egypt.
Why don't you ask the Egyptians why they also have a blockage against Gaza. No one wants to be overran by terrorists.

Igbos and Nzogbu Nzogbu! When will you stop? The same thing that cost you the last election! You always blame others for your woe!

USA has a Jewish backbone! And many other NATO countries have a stake in the Jewish nation. Jews are everywhere in Europe!

The Palestinians are the original settlers on the land before the USA and NATO group brought Israel there to destabilise the Arab nations!

They even gave them billions of dollars! And USA keep supplying arms to Israel to fight Palestinians. But if Iran supplies Palestinians with the same arm, Iran will become terrorists.

Is that not hypocrisy?

The land occupied initially by Israel in 1948 keeps expanding into Palestine up till now! And now the aim of Israel is to kill all Palestinians and fully occupy their land simply by destroying their kids, schools, hospitals and other social amenities!

You seem to running away from the argument that Igbos started the first coup in Nigeria!

Igbo was the first person that cancelled regional control of resources to himself at the federal level!

Biafra was selfish to have wanted to annex Lagos and fight the rest of Nigeria!

Biafra killed itself.
Nigeria defended itself!
Israel came to settle on a land that Palestinians have been for ages! Then they started pushing the settlers away killing them since 1948!

Whenever Palestinians retaliate they are terrorists!

Just as Igbos are the ones killing themselves every Monday in the south east yet they'll blame others as usual!
Sir it's clear that I can't argue with you. But first here are a few points then I will let you be

1. The Palestinians are not the first settlers.
History has it that the Jews dwelt in the land 1500 years before Islam was founded.

2. 3 major world religions Christianity, Islam, and Judaism speak about the people of Israel. No major religion mentions Palestine or even the land of Palestine.

3. It was not NATO that divided the land between the Jews and Arabs, it was the UN.

4. The US only begun selling weapons to Israel after the 1967 war. Prior to then, the US was actually had an arms embargo against Israel.

5. Small Israel defeated the entire Arab forces in 1948, and 1967 without the help of the US.

6. It's ok if you support the Arabs and hate the Igbos but no one would take you serious if you think one group deserves to die and the other does not.

7. Even before the October 7th attack, the Palestinians have committed more the 2000 terrorist attacks against the Jews.

8. No one cares about an Igbo president. Nigeria needs a good president not an Igbo president.

9. The poverty and hunger in Nigeria today did not happen because of an Igbo president. The price of fuel in not cheaper in Yoruba land or Hausa land.

10. Among the last 5 presidents, we have had, 2 are Yoruba, 2 are Hausa/Fulani yet Nigeria only gets worse so it doesn't matter where your leaders come from, an idiot will still be an idiot.

11. Now can you give just one reason why you think the igbos deserved to be killed but the Palestinians don't. Just one reason. Go ahead.

Same Nzogbu Nzogbu mentality! And Ojukwu actually aimed to annex Lagos just as you guys are still trying to do now!

You killed yourselves!

The war didn't start on October 7, it started decades before that. And there has always been killings

Probably you're a kid who just started watching news from October 7.
Your point is that the igbos deserved what they got because Ojukwu survived right but the Palestinians don't deserve what they get because their leader Ismail Haniyeh is in Qatar, a millionaire while there people die. I love the way you think.

To your second point, the war between the Jews and the Arabs began in 1948 if that is what you are talking about.
It started when the Arab forces refused the UN resolution and declared war on Israel.
So you feel the Igbos killed themselves but the Palestinians were killed by Israel?

Don't you see that it's not possible to fault Israel and still claim that Nigeria did not commit genocide against the Igbo without being a hypocrite?

Igbos started the first coup in Nigeria!

And what are the reasons behind the fights in Liberia, Ukraine and Palestine?

Each has a peculiar reason and USA has always supported the devil!
So that was a good reason to kill 2 million civilians mostly babies right?
Because half a dozen Igbo military men stated a coup, that is good enough reason to kill 2 million innocent kids?
Don't you see that you have a strange way of thinking?
Again, using your logic, the Palestinians are the cause of their demise on October 7th, they attacked Israel, killed raped and kidnapped innocent civilians.

Tunnel is not the same as canal. The canal is a massive one ... not a drainage canal as you may want to believe. It will cost Israel billions to make a detour and ships will take longer to get through the canal. Gaza is in the path of the canal. Ask yourself why Israel did nothing to prevent the attack ... athough they were warned about it? ... why did they step down security instead of step up security? ... why did they not respond immediately? ... allowed the attack to continue ... civilians to be kidnapped and taken all the way into Gaza? It was to give Israel a reason to clear Gaza ... and that's what they are doing under the pretext of destroying Hamas. Netanyahu said the operation will run throughout 2024. Really? ... or that's when Gaza will be cleared to make way for the canal? What in this makes you believe it's a conspiracy theory? Isn't Israel indiscriminately bombing residential buildings and claiming to be after Hamas while killing women and children by the thousands more of a conspiracy theory? This may interest you .... if you have an open mind.
Oga you are making a fool of yourself.
First the website you showed couldn't prove that the war had anything to do with the canal. Also, as I stated earlier, it would be cheaper to move the canal by 40 miles than fighting a very expensive war.
Here are some stats for you.
The approximate cost of the canal is $100 billion dollars while the war would gulp 50 billion this year alone.
It's much cheaper to move the canal by 40 miles than spending 100 billion on the canal and an additional 50 billion on war.
Plus the war will end up costing much more than that.
What about the cost of life, the reduction in productivity. The cost in terms of tourism. It makes zero sense
My advice, stop foolish conspiracy theories.

So the October 7th attack never happened right?
Gaza is only 40 miles long and you think your tunnel can't be moved by just 40 miles to prevent this very expensive conflict that would cost the Israeli GDP much more?
Use you head and stop believing foolishness

Perosnally to me what is happening in Isreal is not war.

If you claim it is war who is Isreal fighting ?

Who ever isreal think it is fighting how many tank, war plane, missile defence does it own compare to Isreal.

Isreal is not waging a war but committing mass murder on innocent civilian who it did not even allow to have guns.
Oga please tell me how you will fight this war if you are Israel?
Again comparing the stockpile of Hamas to that of Israel is unnecessary.
The Taliban had much less yet they were able to withstand the US and NATO for 20 years and ended up taking back all their territories. So just because an army is less equipped does not mean it is not a war.

All this you listed which of it was carried by the Nigeria army. In all of the article s.
I am sure you have not read any of them please read.
If you don't see any wrong in these but somehow you see wrong in the actions of Israel then you are not being serious.
Be honest with yourself, what happened in Nigeria in the 60s is many times worse than anything the Palestinians have faced.
Just before this war, the GDP per Capita of Gaza was better than that of many African countries. These are the people you claim the Jews are killing. I laugh.

[quote author=blancsn1 post=127949844]There is no war zone it is just your delsuion.

If it is a war zone Palestinians won't be working Isreali farm n other Isreal firms. Isreal is not waging a war isreal is mass murdering Palestinians n it will pay for that crime sooner or later

So when n where did the Isreali army found them guilt n of what ?

So because Isreal law isn't sufficient Palestinians should be locked up for it.

I bet you will be laughing 😜 at your own foolishness on this type of reasoning.

Oga, when you have heard over 2000 terror attacks, it is a war zone.
Just one terror attack took the US to war with Afghan.
If you don't see this as war, the various terror groups have already openly declared war on Israel.
So if Hamas says they are at war with Israel it's foolish of you to claim it's not a war. Let's just believe your friends at Hamas and the Arab league.

Now you are coming out small small as the ipob member that you are.

Let assume over 2 million died in Biafra war, the over 2 million were they only Igbos ? No other tribe died in the war.

Did the Nigeria army slaughtered your so called over 2 million ? If so we're are the bodies n if you can not provide the body you can at least list location of mass graves because even Gaza that is pounded day n night is yet to witness 100,000 death but here you are talking about over 2 million death.

You just finish from primary school or you get brain paralysis ?!
It's ok if you call me an ipob member no p.
Now you ask the questions of the uneducated but I will try to answer them.
You ask where are the dead bodies as if i should be keeping dead bodies but then the dead bodies are in the same places you found the dead Palestinian bodies.
You found the Palestine dead through the media and the internet so let's do the same for the dead igbos right?
Here is the Wikipedia report of the Biafran war. This is Wikipedia not ipob news.

You are clearly a hypocrite. It's so easy for you to see Palestine genocide but somehow you can't see it in your country. haba
