Kobojunkie: 1. Ofcourse it speaks of the wicked being cast into the lake of fire. I believe the problem is you misjudge the wicked. They belong in His flock - they too believe in Jesus Christ hence they have eternal life from Him - only they reject His teachings and commandments choosing to live in sin instead.
2. Read point 1 above. The wicked are goats in His flock.
3. Jesus Christ didn't lie at all. You just don't understand what He has been telling you all this while is all.
4. I never said anything about only the righteous being resurrected. You are the one who conveniently assumed that. I instead said it is those who belong to Jesus Christ's flock aka those who believe in Him and hence have eternal life aka spirit that will be resurrected.
5. As for the meaning in Paul's words, it's a good idea to pay attention to context abeg! Again, Paul was not here suggesting that another group would be resurrected after those dead in Jesus Christ. This claim again of similar pattern to the one he made in 1 Corinthians 15 vs 22 -23 Since you claim the wicked means the disobedient flocks, I have taken it upon myself to show you verses in the bible that talk about the wicked. men of Sodom were wicked and sinners, Gen. 13:13. Wickedness proceedeth from the wicked, 1 Sam. 24:13 wicked … will not seek after God, Ps. 10:4. No verse in the entire bible defines the wicked as disobedient flocks but rather anyone that does wickedness. |

87777b Kobojunkie: 1. The earth and sea gave up its dead.... does not imply all those who died since Adam will be raised or are even raisable. Recall God’s judgement as pronounced in Genesis 3 vs 16 - 22, was not meant as a semi-final judgement of some sort. No, it was God's final judgement for the unbelievers, and nowhere in scripture was this judgement reversed by God, or Jesus Christ.
So to assert that all those who perished in the grave would be raised back into existence, to be judged again by God, is to suggest His first judgement failed, rendering God's Word void and God a failure. :-
2. Let's try to keep from deviating here, shall we? The point is Paul's claim in verse 22 he clarified in verse 23 as meaning that those who belong to Jesus Christ will be raised. This instead of your original claim which was that all those who ever died since the time of Adam will be raised.
3. Regarding what is written there in John 5 vs 19 - 29, the same Jesus Christ goes on to tell you in the passage below... ... that it is His sheep that will hear His voice and respond.
4. Matthew 25 vs 40 - 46 - the wicked refers to those in His flock who refuse to obey him, the goats in His flock
5. Jesus Christ made it more than clear through several parables as well, that it is those who belong in His flock, all those who believe in Him - they have eternal life as a result - will be raised by Him in the end. God told Adam he would die, did he die? Yes God never said he would not raise again. No scripture says such so where did you get your teachings from. I was hoping you would show any verse that teaches that the righteous would not resurrect. God's judgment was simply, it said to Adam, you would die. It never said, you would not live again. But now I have given you enough verses that teach all men would come form the grave . The wicked does not refer only to his flocks. It refers to every wicked. Let's not add out view to the word. Again if I may get you, are you trying to say that the disobedient flock would ressurrect but those that are not Christian's wouldn't resurrect? If that is your point, I find it super interesting and I am waiting for you to prove with scripture. Can you explain this verse then? Like 14.28 In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out. Who was Jesus talking to because it was not to the disobedient flock. |

[quote author=Kobojunkie post=109118540]1. Where do you find it suggested , in Revelation 20 vs 12, that all who have ever died since Adam will be raised from the dead?, 2. God's judgement against them, beginning with Adam, is all the judgement necessary. [/quote Did you read Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 ? It talks about the wicked being cast to eternal punishment. It did not say they wouldn't be resurrected. You need to read the verses you are quoting. Again read John 5..28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned. No verse teaches that only the righteous would be resurrected. I have given you enough verses that teach that all would be resurrected. I challenge you to find any verse that teaches only the righteous would resurrect. Read also, Dan 12.2 Acts 24:14-15) the resurrection of the unjust 1 Thessalonians 4:16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. The earth gave up its dead the sea gave it's dead, hell gave it's dead. Maybe Adam dead in the sKY because even he'll gave up its dead. Again you do not understand paul. Vs 23.But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. This simply means it wouldn't happen at once. It's turn by turn. But then let me gave you one more scripture. John 5.28. 28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming(AB) when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemne If the wicked would not be resurrected then why Luke 13:28 In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out. Or is it their spirits that would weep? Jesus never said only his people would be resurrected, he said everyone. |

Kobojunkie: 1. Interesting claim you make of Jesus Christ there.
2. Read Genesis 3 vs 19 -22. Adam was not born imbued with eternal life from His beginning - He apparently could have obtained it from eating of the Tree of Life, but he never got the chance to do that and so perished as God decreed.
3. Your "Bible" does not teach anything of the such. It is instead a book of books. Jesus Christ, however, taught His followers that when He returns, He will raise to life those who are of His flock - not all men - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 & John 10 vs 19 - 29. Adam, along with everyone who died in unbelief, will not be a part of Jesus Christ's resurrection. They all die without an eternal/afterlife. No man is born with eternal life. Each of us have to fight for our salvation with fear and trembling. Yes I agree with you only the true followers of Christ would have eternal life. But all men would be raised from the dead Revelation's 20.12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works Also read 1 corinthians 15 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. This means like Christ, the spirits of all men would against reunite with there bodies. And the scripturesecond you quote in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 & John 10 vs 19 - 29 actually prove that I am right. Matthew 25 talks of a time after the resurrection where all would be judged. The righteous would have everlasting life and the unrighteous everlasting punishment with weeping and gnashing of teeth. Thanks for bringing up that scripture. |

Kobojunkie: 1. God is Holy and it follows that His image is also Holy, or can that which is cursed belong to or be of God, in otherworldly, retain its holiness?
2. Adam was not born of Spirit but of the physical elements of this here earth - Genesis 2 vs 6-7.. God affirmed this when He cursed Adam to die - from dust you were made and to dust you return. Adam had no eternal life hence no spirit - Genesis 3 vs 19 - 22
Jesus Christ restated this in John 3 vs 5 - 8, He stated that the only birth an individual knows from his mother's womb is a physical birth. I agree with you that God is holy. That is why Jesup told us to be holy like our Father in heaven. He knows we have God's image and the capability to be holy. God never said Adam had no eternal life. I didn't read that in the verses you quoted. Remember the bible teaches that all men would resurrect, that includes Adam. |

haddeylium: and the man became a living person.(Gen 2:7). God's we are created and our life started on earth. To create means to come from inexistence or nothing. I believe John 6.63 would help answer your question better. 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. This makes us understand that man could only become living when the spirit entered the body. Prior to that the flesh was dead. It's the spirit that gave it life. Do you understand. James 2.26 The body without the spirithe is dead. So it's nothe the spirit that dies but the body. Hence the bible was clearly talking about the body of man becoming a living soul after the spirit entered it. |

Kobojunkie: Adam was the man who was created in the image of God, an image that was likely lost to us after Adam was condemned/cursed by God for his sin. The image of God did not change. Or was it recorded anywhere that the image changed. Adam looked like God. Man looks like God. Jesus was the express image of the Father. He has a body and a spirit. At the end of this life, the faithful would live with God and inherit all he has just like Jesus Christ. Eating the fruit actually made man to become more like God and not less like God. |

First, to create does not mean to bring to existence from nothing. Remember Adam was created from the dust of the earth. Also that man became a living being does not mean that our spirits where non living. That scripture was talking about the physical creation. Our relationship with God began before the world's were created. Ephesians 1.4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love. You don't choose something that does not exist. He knew each and every one of us and destined us. |

I don't think we need to stretch things from Jesus' statement here Great question. Who was Christ talking to in John 8.23? He was talking to the sinful unbelieving Jews. He made it clear in verse 44 44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. bankole200: PROPHETIC PICTURE OF THE YEAR 2022
By Dr. D.K Olukoya, GO MFM Worldwide
This year is a subtle year, a dribbling and a two phased year
1. It is a year for true sons of God to have a voice
2. It is a year of new and better things for the children of God. So, make sure you serve God wholeheartedly in year 2022.
3. It is a year of falling away of the old and the emergence of the new.
4. The Lord said new, accurate, prophetic voices will emerge, not like what we have now.
5. The Lord says that for many, all the doors that were shut against them shall be forced opened.
6. The year shall be a year of new beginning for many.
7. We need to pray really seriously on strange and great movement in the waters, in the rain, in the river and in the sea.
8. It is a year of positive dislocation; some will be dislocated, they will think it is for evil but it shall be for good.
9. It is a year that you have to be serious with God; sort yourself out and put your life right. Don't play games with God in year 2022.
10. We need to pray really hard to prevent another COVID-like situation or anything that is similar to it.
11. Exodus 19:5-6 will play out very well. So, if we comply with this; supernatural protection, supernatural provision, supernatural preservation will take place. 12. It is a year for the saints to shine as light.
13. Corruptions, evil plots and schemes will be exposed in a massive way.
14. (This is for Mountain of Fire) The Mountain of Fire will manifest more like the pool of Bethesda, where people will come and be healed. 15. It is a year for you to key into your positions as light and salt of the earth. 16. The rage of marine powers, releasing seven (7) deadly spirits. They have started releasing them already. - Sexual perversion and immorality, insanity, confusion, lying spirits and infirmity, mammon spirits, adversity and conflicts.
17. Answers to banked-up prayers and long term problems, the answers will begin to manifest.
18. We need to pray hard to avoid useless wars, wars that are completely unnecessary.
19. All over the world, hard-core occultics and ritualists will be put to open shame.
20. The wailing cry of the saints will trigger divine mercy; so, we should pray a lot more.
21. There will be cleansing and purging in the house of God. A lot of people are just taking God for a ride; this 2022 will not be like that. If you come and start joking with God, toying with the things of God, you are playing with your life in this coming year.
22. There will be laughters in places where sorrows have dwell for a very long time.
23. The Lord said it will be a rain of babies for those expextant parents and there will be mysterious breakthroughs for them.
24. It is a year of uncommon divine favour.
25. We need to pray to avert friendly nations disagreeing and betraying each other and going into war.
26. It will be a year of drought for those without store houses
27. Many prodigals will come back to the Lord, willingly or unwillingly.
28. There will be massive shakings that will expose hypocrisy and corruption in the house of God.
29. We need to pray as a church that God should begin to raise politicians like Daniel and Joseph who will prosper in whatever political and financial climates before them.
30. There will be a release of new generation of revivalists to evangelise this end time harvest of souls.
31. We need to pray against inflation and starvation.
32. We need to pray against massive political instability which will put a lot of people in disarray.
33. One other thing that came up in the radar is that we need to pray seriously for marriages. The devil has planned a stormy year for marriages.
34. We need to pray against strange deaths.
35. No believer should miss the opportunity to bombard heavens with high voltage prayers on 2-2-2022. That is a strategic day.
36. The church needs prayers against increased persecution of Christians.
37. The God of the suddenlies is preparing something for Nigeria and will answer the prayers of His children. For any power that wants Nigeria to sink shall sink, and any power that wants Nigeria to die shall die; they will drink their own blood and eat their own flesh, until they are drunk with it.
In Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries here, our motto for this year is a powerful confession, a proclamation: 2022: My Year of Becoming A Divine Spectacle (1 Corinthians 4:9, John 3:8, Job 9:10, Exodus 15:11).

haddeylium: Do you understand the meaning of sacrifice or you want it spelt out for you? When you made 'sacrifice giving' donations in your churches, do you take it back? What Jesus did was a replica of burnt offering Israelites made(Hebrews 10:8–10) and they don't take back their offering. Jesus offered his human body and life, do you think he'll take it back?
Heb 10:10 By God’s will we have been sanctified once and for all through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus, the Messiah.
Are you sure you read these verses very well before posting? What makes you think the incorruptible body is the natural (physical) human body? Let me simplified those verses for you 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
Do you get the sequence now? The natural(or physical body) is the corruptible one while the spirit (spiritual body) is incorruptible one Do you think Jesus resurrected with the human corruptible body now?
Crown it with verse 45 of that chapter The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [Jesus] was made a quickening [life giving] spirit. I think you are finally understanding. We both agree that our bodies need to be transformed. hence at the resurrection, we get a transformed body just like Jesus. It's a body that can't die again, It's incorruptible and spiritual like the body of our Heavenly father. Remember the righteous are promised all that the father has. This includes the kind of body he has. verse 45... spells it clearly. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. like Christ, every righteous follower would also inherit a quickening spirit. If you want to know the final state of the righteous, look up to Christ. This would help you understand what it means to be created in God's Image Every human has the potential to become like God. First, we have a spirit then a physical body, finally, our physical body becomes spiritual and incorruptible. That is what we learn from the scriptures. |

Rosement: Are you trying to inquire the truth or you just want to debate? I prefer to accept that we are both right in our own ways than to debate.
Synonyms means words that have the same or nearly the same meaning. Wrong might be the synonym of evil because they are nearly similar but evil is not the synonym of wrong because they are not similar. Wrong simply means not correct, not true or incorrect but evil has a wider definition, it means immoral, wicked and harmful. You don't have to be wicked and harmful to be wrong, you can be wrong without hurting anybody. Wrong and evil are two different words and they don't have the same definitions.
Genesis 3:1-5 indicate that Adam and Eve were keeping away from the forbidden fruit because God instructed them not to touch or eat the forbidden fruit, they believed there was a repercussion for it before satan deceived them. satan accused God of being a liar and he told them that God does not want them to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil because God does not want them to be wise and be like gods. They used their ability to make decisions wrongly, they chose to do wrong rather than right. Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
I get your point, God actually limited the knowledge of Adam and Eve, they were just like His puppets. God only allowed to know a few wrong and right, they did not even realize that they were naked. They only knew few things, they knew how to interact on their own, they knew how to communicate and ask questions and they knew how to name things.
God limited man's knowledge because He was trying to protect man from desiring evil and doing evil. If man does not have the knowledge of good and evil, they would follow God's instructions without questioning Him and they would not crave both good and evil, they would only crave the good that God shows them because you cannot crave what you don't know.
God knew evil but He was too righteous to do evil. He knew that if man should knows evil, man will desire to do evil more than good, man will not be able to control himself. We human being prefer to satisfy our cravings, that is why there is a lot of evil in the world today. We now have the knowledge of good and evil but we find it difficult to control our actions, we see reasons to do evil. We no longer desire to good, we even find it difficult to love our neighbours, some people are even despising and killing their fellow human beings. First you are not God so no need assuming God's intentions for limiting Adam and Eve knowledge. It was God that planted the tree of good and evil in the garden. |
