You're the one running from pillar to post here.
Jehovah's Witnesses aren't against Science but faithless researchers claiming scientists trying to discredit God's word.
Right from the creation God says the life of all creatures is in their blood and it's not transferable {Leviticus 17:11,14} here God is teaching us what scientists later discovered thousands of years later.
So what exactly is the lesson learned?
Everyone must be mindful of his or her health and most importantly blood which is the life in each creature. Jehovah's Witnesses have lots of alternative measures at our disposal to build and increase the blood level. Most of which are from herds! Psalms Psalms 104:14

As regards taking it into our bodies, our God says "blood from other bodies is UNHEALTHY" {Act 15:29} so we are not against Science that's is taught in our book, we are only standing firm for the wisdom found in God's word which surpasses all knowledge! Ephesians 3:19 smiley
Thanks for quoting scripture.
The only commandment about blood was not to eat blood. Remember, we don't add to the word of God.
Leviticus 17:11,14
11 For the life of a creature is in the blood,(A) and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.[a](B) 12 Therefore I say to the Israelites, “None of you may eat blood, nor may any foreigner residing among you eat blood.”

13 “‘Any Israelite or any foreigner residing among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth,(C) 14 because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, “You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off.
Act 15:29
29 You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality.(A) You will do well to avoid these things.

No single verse in the bible talks about blood transfusion. Unless you have a different bible.

All the verses I read talk about eating of blood.QED

Like I said early, you obviously know nothing about the science of blood transfusion. And you showed your ignorance in the topic. You have a right to be against any researcher. But the thing with science is that it is no respecter, of persons.
1+1=2 not minding if it's done by a faithless researcher or a faithful researcher. Scientists can argue but the science is universal.
You don't need to go to church to understand gravity.
So no one cares if you agree with science or not. With science, it's not about what you agree with but what you can proof.

Does it change the fact stated in the newspaper headline, 95% donor blood units unsafe"

When you transfuse 95% unsafe blood to say, for instance, "about 65%" of pregnant women in Naija, what would be the outcome?
Where I come from, intelligent people don't depend on headlines, rather they read to understand the story. Now let's discuss science, when you say 95% of blood transfusions are unsafe, what does it mean? Does it mean that 95% of blood donors have infections? Or does it mean that we as a country only have 5% capacity for safe transfusion. 2 different things.
If 95% of all donors have blood infections, it simply means that almost every Nigerian has an infection because 19 out of every 20 that donated blood had an infection. Also, the newspaper report never pointed to any study. So my advice to you is
1. stick to religion if you do not understand science.
2. You should never depend on a new headline for your source.
3. You should ask for data when percentages and numbers are thrown at you.
4. You should be able to point to the source of your news, if not, don't quote.
5. You remain grossly unqualified to discuss the science of blood transfusion. Reading a few news headlines does not make you qualified.

Just know that when it comes to the word of God Jehovah's Witnesses will stand on the side of God's word against anything you're trying to raise above the scriptures.
For instance, how many people know that the COVID-19 vaccines comes from different makes? We have done our own research to know which is safe for us unlike misinformed Churchgoers who are spewing gibberish about what scientists prepared to help combat the pandemic.
So if you want to talk about science you're free but never come to JWs and place what scientists say above the word of our God! smiley
Like I said stick to what you know. If you want to talk scripture, don't bring pseudoscience into it.
Like I said in science, we use data and facts not argument.
We can argue with the bible but we can't argue with mathematics.

Oga,is your LYING scientific fact?
now I was able to read your newspaper article. Let me send you extract fromy that same article which I know you never read.
Everyday, 537 women in Sub-Saharan Africa die from pregnancy-related complications. Many of these deaths are due to lack of blood. Half of the maternal deaths from severe bleeding in the world occur in Sub-Saharan Africa. About 65 per cent of these deaths occur in the post-partum period, according to reports.

The source you quoted is actually in support of blood transfusion. It is advocating for more blood donors and safer transfusion.

You're just running around like a clown in the circus! smiley

My question to you again!

Doctors always write this in all hospitals:

"WE CARE BUT GOD HEALS "

Then i asked you:

Your response clearly shows that you're trying to lie in behalf of those who said they rely on God as healer.

I'm not arguing with you about science because everyone believe in science but when it comes to treatment the professionals themselves rely on God.

So if God says "ABSTAIN from blood"

Each person must choose how to handle that statement, you're not in any position to impose your own interpretation on me be you a scientist or not. I'm not saying you should not go for a blood transfusion but all i'm saying is "since it doesn't guarantee life then each person has the right to accept or reject it" i believe that as a health professional you should know that each patient has the right to the treatment of their choice! smiley
Doctors always write this in all hospitals:

CARE BUT GOD HEALS
You only find this in religious, mostly Nigerian Christian hospitals. It has nothing to do with the facts. If the doctor was nonreligious, you would not find this written in the hospital.

I'm not arguing with you about science because everyone believe in science I am happy you have finally decided to stay away from science and stick to religion.

Each person must choose how to handle that statement, you're not in any position to impose your own interpretation on me be you a scientist or not. This is the beauty of religion, you can give it any interpretation but you don't try that in science.
My point was to stick to what you know. You obviously have some experience discussing religion. stick to that but you clearly don't understand how science works so don't even try.
I have no problem with your beliefs. I wouldn't teach you what to believe but when you began teaching pseudoscience, I felt the need to correct you.
Christianity Etc › Re: Jw.org: 100 Years Of Failed Prophecies. by tctrills: 2:02pm On Dec 15, 2021
MaxInDHouse:
Well you failed woefully!
Because i never said blood transfusion doesn't keep the patient alive for more days but what is the end result after decades?
Most patients that have undergone blood transfusion surely develop illnesses in the future of course they can't connect such illnesses with the blood taken due to the timeframe. When God said abstain from fornication does it mean all fornicators will contact deadly diseases? NO!
But even though some may die after contacting deadly diseases through it all those engaging in it will later suffer either psychological or emotional crisis in the future.
So when our God says "abstain from blood" {Genesis 9:4; Leviticus 3:7; Deuteronomy 12:23; Act 15:20,29} there's nothing any faithless, hopeless and worthless researcher can say to make us turn against what the greatest healer (God) say in the Bible.

We will put God first then anything else may follow! Matthew 6:33 smiley
There is zero scientific backing to your statement that Most patients that have undergone blood transfusion surely develop illnesses in the future. What sickness do they develop? What percentage of people develop such sicknesses? This is where science comes in. You need to show me the data. I am very open to learning. Just point me to the data.
I keep saying we cannot discuss this topic on 2 fronts. choose one, do we discuss science or religion.
Abstain from blood could mean
1 Abstain from shedding blood
2 Abstain from eating blood
3 Abstain from touching blood
4 Abstain from seeing blood
In fact, there was no blood transfusion at the time the bible was written so it clearly wasn't talking about that.
But then, if you want to talk science, show me, studies, facts, and data.
We can argue religion but we can never argue science. It's based on evidence. Provable evidence. In science, we don't just open our mouths and spew out things that are not verified. We do that in religion but not science.

"A particular discipline or branch of learning, especially one dealing with measurable or systematic principles rather than intuition or natural ability" Oxford Dictionary

Science connotes what is WORKING not what isn't producing fine results. So if there is still ongoing debates on the end result of a system then such is better referred to as experiment not accurate knowledge.
Many died after blood transfusion while some survived the process, many also died without blood transfusion while some who got alternative non-blood treatment survive.
Therefore no scientist can confidently say that it's due to blood transfusion that lives were saved.
Remember the motto of all medical practitioners:

"WE CARE BUT GOD HEALS"

So do you think any right thinking professional in that field will ignore what the true HEALER says regarding the care for life?

Well when it comes to KNOWLEDGE we know that everyone has gotten it because KNOWLEDGE is the accumulation of useful information

But

WISDOM is the PRACTICAL APPLICATION of accumulated information which is for LASTING BENEFITS

Real Scientists think about the LASTING BENEFITS of what they will do regarding human health, it's the faithless ones among them that are hasty when it comes to the treatment of creature in God's image! smiley
I don't think you are qualified to talk about science. From your writeup, you have shown that you don't understand the basic scientific method.
Now allow me to teach you. The scientific method is a process of determining what is and what is not. We use what is established to determine what isn't.
saying many have died after a blood transfusion is like saying many still die after taking malaria medicine. This doesn't mean malaria medications do not work. I beg you to stick to the bible and leave science for those of us that do it for a living.

You again said So do you think any right thinking professional in that field will ignore what the true HEALER says regarding the care for life? The answer to this is yes. No science is established based on what any religion feels or believes. The scientific method had nothing to do with your religious inclination. That is why we have had amazing world-changing science coming from people of all sects.
Now, what is the science of blood transfusion?
Blood transfusions replace blood that is lost through surgery or injury or provide it if your body is not making blood properly. You may need a blood transfusion if you have anemia, sickle cell disease, a bleeding disorder such as hemophilia, or cancer.
This is an established process recognized by every single medical body.
so unless you come up with new findings just keep to the bible.
The good thing about the bible is that anyone can claim to be an expert without being challenged. But in science, you don't just say anything.
Again, science is not a democracy, it's about proof of concept not about what is popular. So when you quoted a newspaper opinion piece as your science it shows you are not really serious about your science. We do not argue with science. We prove science using empirical data.
