Putindbutt: What Tinubu sees sitting down, one thousand wailers could not see it even if they climbing the Kilimanjaro. How many times Ramaphosa would be embarrassed abroad?. First, Trump talking down on him like a school boy at the White House and then his mic switched off before the world watching. This past UN meeting was a display of clownery generally, from Trump's teleprompter not working, the elevator he was in suddenly developed a fault, to delegates walking out on Nentayahu, Tayyip Erdogan being embarrassed, Ramaphosa being embarrassed, Macron's convoy blocked and was made to get down to walk to the venue. President Tinubu and Putin were just watching and laughing Anyways, Shettima delivered his speech in recognizing the Palestinian state and nothing happened to him, not a scratch. It shows that Nigeria, when you're big, you're big. Please tell Tinubu to stand up and see the poverty and hunger of his people. He is not seeing that one sitting down. |

And you can just easily confirm that Spain has canceled ALL its defense contracts with them. Sincerely, in this era of internet, you don’t have an excuse to argue without knowing I read your stuff and comprehended it but even if Spain has cancelled all contracts with Israel, the EUs weapons deal with Israel is still bigger than ever. And yes with the internet, you have to research and know. Clearly you are still in the dark. Stop leaping at the headlines please study more. Israel is now a top 4 weapons exporter with the EU as one of it's biggest markets. Who needs mangos when you've got tech. The EU is still above 50% of Israel's weapons market. |

Btw, EU members have started scaling down. Spain canceled, Slovenia, Ireland too. Norway has divested and Germany has limited restrictions. Italy may soon join leaving only Hungary, the poorest amongst the 3 strong E.U backers of the genocide in Gaza Actually no, the EU has increased their purchase of Israeli weapons systems. Also, defense contracts like all contracts can be cancelled in a second so your excuse doesn't hold. |

Proudlyngwa: Is benue crisis religous or territorial
What of zamfara, sokoto, katsina, bornu , how do u explain those It is both. But most importantly, it is genocide and ethnic cleansing. But you never talk about it. Note, the fulanis have zero claims in Benue. In sokoto, katsina, the could stake their claims. In these states, both Fulani and Hausa trade blames and claim ownership to land but not Benue, not southern Adamawa, not Plateau and most of Taraba. Please study the crisis in your country more than you study the one in Gaza. Again, do you even know about the attacks on christian communities in sokoto, katsina? I have visited all these places and I know where the killings are taking place. |

God1000: This is a controversial topic, apart from a handful of incidents involving the killing of few persons over blasphemy, I can't say there's general persecution of Christians in Nigeria I can bet you have never been to Adamawa, Taraba, Benue or Plateau. Educate yourself on the matter before speaking. Do you know that entire christian communities have become Muslim after the original inheritance have been killed ane expelled. Do you know christian communities have their vigilante arrested all the time giving the Muslims easy access to commit genocide? If you don't understand that genocide and ethnic cleansing is going on in Nigeria, you really know nothing. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Bill Maher Claims Slaughter Of Christians In Nigeria Is Being Ignored by tctrills: 9:28am On Sep 28, 2025 |
God1000: Nigeria is a very polarized country, issues like this will surely ignite serious debate among Christians and Muslims.
As a Christian, I believe people from both religions are dying from Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, unknown gunmen, kidnapers and ritualists everyday, it will not be fair to say Christians are facing persecution.
Go to several communities in Borno, zamfara, Niger State and the rest where bandits control and commit atrocities daily
There's general insecurity in Nigeria and government failure to address it over the years has put the entire country in this current situation.
Some politicians are behind the crisis in States like Benue, plateau and southern Kaduna where Fulani herdsmen are killing ethnic minorities and seizing their lands You need more understanding on the matter. We are talking about the biggest ethnic cleansing going on in Africa. We are talking about Muslim Fulani taking ovet communities in Adamawa, Taraba, Benue and plateau.Mostly christian communities are targeted and after the destruction, the fulanis occupy the lands as anyone alive will never return out of fear. I have traveled to many of these places and I understand what is happening and who is being targeted. Christian ls are facing an existential threat in Northern Nigeria. And even you a so called Nigerian Christian is unaware. I can bet that you know more about the war in Gaza than the war in Benue. |

Ethno-religio-tribal bigotry is your problem concerning Buhari. You can try to fight the facts but you will always lose. Under this man life got harder for Nigerians, outcomes became worse, security was non existent. Nigerians got hungrier, poorer and sicker. If this is your president doing his best then your country is finished. You talk about ethni-religio-tribal bigotry because you have no understanding. No need pointing accusing fingers on other people. I understand your point here. But how can the people be on your side when you align with the enemy of the people. Bihari is the cause of so much suffering, pain and even death in thousands of Nigerian households. So when the guy shows unnecessary love and loyalty to the enemy of the people, how do we expect the people to think well of him or regard him as their champion? AJ has become buharis champion. He is no longer the people's champion. Still I wish him well. He already has a great life and has done what most will never achieve. Politics › Re: US Opposes Palestinian State Recognition by tctrills: 5:26pm On Sep 24, 2025 |
FIRDAUS3: I am Israel. I never miss a chance to claim victimhood while inflicting violence.
In 1947, the United Nations handed me more than half of someone else’s land. A gift I didn’t earn, from colonial powers who didn’t own it. I accepted. My neighbors objected. I called it war—and in the chaos, I began my cleansing. Over 700,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes—some fled, yes—but many were forced out at gunpoint, their villages razed, their names erased.
Then I planted pine trees over the ruins—to hide the memory. Forests where homes once stood. Parks over cemeteries. I made it green so the world wouldn’t see the black underneath. I called it “reforestation.” They called it erasure.
I am Israel. I have never chosen peace—only dominance.
In 1967, I launched a pre-emptive war and seized Gaza, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, and Sinai. I claimed it was for security. I held onto it for power. I built settlements, one by one, choking Palestinian towns. International law said it was illegal. I ignored it. My map grew. Their freedom shrank.
I am Israel. I could have ended the occupation. Many times. But I always said no.
In 2000, at Camp David, I offered a patchwork of disconnected enclaves surrounded by walls, checkpoints, and soldiers. I called it peace. Palestinians walked away. I called them extremists. Then I built a wall, not on my border—but deep in theirs. I called it security. They called it theft.
I am Israel. I glorify militarism. I raise children to believe they are chosen.
My textbooks erase Palestine. My soldiers patrol streets with rifles pointed at teenagers. My media justifies bombings. My politicians joke about flattening Gaza. I send airstrikes to refugee camps, schools, and hospitals. Then I say they were human shields.
I am Israel. I elected Netanyahu. Again and again.
Not once, by mistake. But knowingly. I voted for leaders who vowed to crush the Palestinians, to expand settlements, to never allow a Palestinian state. My ministers speak of “the Arabs” as a demographic threat. My settlers burn olive trees. My mobs chant “Death to Arabs.” I call it patriotism.
I am Israel. I speak of democracy—but deny it to millions under my control.
I rule over millions who cannot vote in the country that controls their lives. I build roads they cannot drive on. I issue permits for them to breathe, to move, to live. I bomb Gaza, then seal it off and say it’s their fault. I say I left Gaza—but I control its air, sea, and borders. I say they are free—then I starve them.
I am Israel. I demand recognition—but give none in return.
I demand that Palestinians accept me as a Jewish state—while refusing to even say the word “Nakba.” I ignore the homes, lands, and history of those I displaced. I hold their keys in museums, not their hands. I deny the refugees their right to return. I make laws that call them “absentees,” even when they’re just over the hill.
I am Israel. I cry antisemitism—when what I fear is accountability.
I call any critic a hater. I blur the line between Judaism and Zionism, using one to shield the crimes of the other. I weaponize history to excuse apartheid. I manipulate trauma to justify conquest. I say “Never again”—but let it happen to others, by my own hand.
I am Israel. I will never be secure.

SmartPolician: The comment you quoted has nothing to do with Nigeria. I'm writing about global attention. The founders of all big US companies investing in China don't speak English, yet they have businesses worth billions of dollars in China.
By the time Donald Trump is done dealing with America, every reasonable investor in America will pull their businesses out of the country.
It has already started happening, but the guy is too blind to see it. A country that used to create over 300k jobs every month is now creating 22k jobs. Donald Trump is America's nemesis. I can bet you have never owned a business. If you have, answer this, would you pull your business out of the worlds biggest consumer? Since Trump's return every major tech company, nations from UK to the gulf states have committed to investing hundreds of billions into the US economy. Apple will begin to produce hardware in the US. So you are wrong. These companies are not running away. Now to the Job reports, we are just learning that Biden's jobs was a mirage. About a million of these jobs did not exist. So there was the Job crisis before a trump came to power. Again , we know and understand why very few jobs are being created. The US has very low unemployment and it is purging itself of illegals so this remains a transition period. Let's have this jobs argument in a years time. |
