I can bet my bottom dollar, that you've neither lived in the States, nor interacted with Americans on a large scale.

That's the reason you think the way you do.
Lol.
You are now interested in the places I have lived. How childish.

Now majority of the people that live in the US think like me. That's why they voted for Trump.
It's clear that you have not been to the US that's why you don't know how Americans think.
But 8 don't even care where you have lived at least you have an internet connection. Make use of it.

Business leaders are one of the people I respect the most. They are the engine of growth and development in any society. Not story writers.
But then I enjoyed many of Woles books.

He’s a criminal convict on multiple Fraud charges. Are you aware of that?

Do you know he is a convicted felon on 34 criminal charges?

What you should be asking if your head was screwed on right is “What is a convicted criminal doing in the White House?” What sort of corrupt system allowed That to happen?
Let's even claim that he was rightfully convicted. Yet, the American people chose him to lead them if you don't see greatness in that, you can never know greatness.
The very same Americans that voted for a black man 2x. The same Americans that kicked him out of office. Clearly, his people who know him much better than you do saw greatness him him.
I actually love his life story. He was accused, indicted, convicted yet he couldn't be stopped from getting to the top.
Lastly, Obasanjo, Nelson Mandela, and many other leaders have also been convicted.
You have no point here.

I can boast that my achievement and role in life has only been accomplished by 0.0012% of the world's population.

You need at least a masters degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering to have reached that accomplishment.

That makes me unique.

Trump lost all the money his father bequeathed to him.

Being a cult leader isn't a big deal.

Charles Manson was quite incoherent, yet he had a following.
Anyone can claim and boast about anything. The difference is that we all know Trump's achievements. He doesn't even need to boast.
Again you are not unique because you went to school. Many people who didn't go to school have achieved more than you ever will.

Lastly, there is nothing wrong with losing money. He lost all his father gave him and made it back many fold. To me, that is the story of greatness.
What is your own story?

I really don't know who is more intelligent between E money and Wole. One is a leader in literature and the other is a business leader and social icon.
They live in 2 different worlds.
Then we have Trump, a political leader, a business leader, a social media leader, a movie star, a social icon.
He is a combination of many good things.

The TV series was put together by a group and he was simply slotted in it.

Unfortunately, winning an election doesn't mean you have capacity, just popularity.

You mean one of the greatest TV series would intentionally star a guy of limited intelligence and it would not flop?

Again I know you don't read books but below is a copy of the Act of the Deal.
If you are lucky to accomplish a hundredth of what this man has accomplished, your name would be remembered long after you.

This was the first politician in modern America to win the presidential election with no political connection.

He has continued to rise despite the hate and opposition.

He was indicted, found guilty, he was kicked out of all social media yet he reclaimed his throne.

Today his social media company that was formed out of necessity is worth billions.

In just one life time, Trump became an American cultural icon, raps were made about him, movies were acted about him.

He build one of the most recognizable brands. Trump towers, hotels and golf courses are notable landmarks in every city they are.

He became one of the most successful politicians in American history.

He build one of the top 30 biggest social media companies in the world.

He ended wars in Asia and Africa

But to you, he has limited intelligence right?

Let's see what you would achieve when you are his age.

Quite erudite, except for WHY. Why was Judas evil? And could he have been redeemed by someone preaching to him?
So the bible never explains what made Judas evil. He listened to the preachings of Jesus Christ everyday. Remember Christ called he a devil. Satan hears the preaching everyday yet he remains in his evil way. Judas was a devil so we don't expect more from him.

Very well-said. But then, what is Judgement judging? Also, if Judas had repented at the last minute, where would we be today?
I don't understand your first question.
But to the second, what really is repentance? It's more than saying I am sorry. Paul spoke about Godly sorrow. I believe, just like the devil, it is possible to go beyond that there is no coming back.
Remember, there are some that will not receive forgiveness in this world or in the world to come.

It means what we are taught growing up that formed our foundation view of things NOT teaching JW to an Iman in Suadi Arabia steeped in Islam all his life!

Meanwhile what do you think of this:
Romans 8:29-30 (ESV):
> "For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified."

See the wrie-up on free will below
Remember Jeremiah 1:5

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Life did not begin at birth. God knew us before our mothers gave birth to us, even before the world began. So prophets and men of God are not chosen randomly.

One more verse.
Ephesians 1:4, "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love".

God's knowledge and relationship with us is even older than Genesis 1.1
So don't be surprised that he also knew Judas.
He knew that the assignment to betray Jesus could only be given to one who is completely evil, A devil, as Jesus called him in John 6.

Those of you who fervently believe in FREE WILL, please educate me, was there ever the slightest chance that Judas would not betray Jesus?
Yes, God has given us free will. It is the freedom to choose between good and evil. Now, was there ever the slightest chance that Judas would not betray Jesus?
This is a much more technical question. I do not have a straightforward answer, but I see a clue in something Jesus Christ said.
John 6:70
“Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

So even before choosing Judas, Christ knew he was evil and had evil intentions.

Again, we read,

John 17:12:
Jesus, in his prayer to the Father, mentions Judas, saying, "While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

The phrase son of perdition, also appears in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, referring to the Antichrist:

“…that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition

So we can tell that Judas was chosen for the task because he was evil. He had given his soul to the devil, and what the devil does is that he robs us of our freedom. He takes away our power to choose the right.

Judas was lost beyond recovery, marked by his betrayal, and fulfilling prophecy as one doomed to eternal judgment.

The gospel must be heard. Go through my post again. In 1 Peter 3:19; 4:6 Jesus preached to the spirits in prison. The spirit were people that have died before but did not have the privilledge to have listened to or rejected the gospel.

(1 Peter 3:19) "By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison." This verse refers to Jesus, after his death, proclaiming his victory over sin and death to spirits held captive, who are understood by some to be fallen angels or those who rejected God's message in Noah's time.

1 Peter 4:6 " For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit."

The fact remains that, the gospel must be heard and accepted by anyone living or dead before judgement.

Romans 10:10-17 "With the heart we beleive unto righeousness, but with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"

So when they have heard the gospel, it's left for them to believe it or not.
This makes a lot of sense though.
Why don't Christians talk about this. But then, it says the gospel was preached to those in the days of Noah. My great great grandfather came after Noah, does he also get a chance to hear the gospel.

Good.

So it's ENOUGH to get to your father's house by road.

Years later, your father discovered flaws in that old route and asked you to fly going forward if you want to come home

1. Will the old route still be considered ENOUGH?

2. Are you going to disobey your father?

This is common sense
To answer your first question, yes, the road is still enough. I travel to Enugu from Lagos by air and sometimes by road, and both serve the purpose; they both are enough.

Now let me ask you the same question. If you have a road from Enugu to Lagos, but then you want to create an air route, only to discover that it would require the death and extreme pain and suffering of your first son. A pain beyond anything imaginable, would you make your son go through such pain, or would you continue with the road?
Again, if the roadway way available to all your children, no matter their beliefs, to come into your presence, but then the air travel is only available to your children of a certain belief (in this case, Christians), would it be worth it? In fact, which would you consider better, a road that is open to all or by air that is only available to very few?

Exactly my point. The method of our fore fathers; animal and human sacrifices and other fetish requirements were questionable.
People should be able to serve God willingly with having to offer anything to earn salvation or receive answers to prayers. I believe Christianity (true Christianity) shows to be better than that if our forefathers in that regard.

Thanks.
You claim their methods were questionable, yet they found salvation? If the better way gives the same result, then it is not special. Was it worth all the suffering of Christ?

Check your dictionary for the meaning of sufficient and salvation

The old note was improved upon , and it has nothing in todays Nigeria, if you like have 20million notes of it
sufficient: enough; adequate. I just checked the dictionary.
So again, was the law enough for salvation?
So, like the new note, please note how the gospel improves the law if both give salvation

If you study your bible, some question you are asking will not matter.

Rom 8:3

For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh,

Heb 8:7

If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second covenant to replace it.

The law was allowed within its ERA but it wasn't sufficient, hence the new covenant.

When N20 currency was changed to polymer, did you continue to spend the old paper note?

Was the old paper note not acceptable in that ERA?

Can you refused the polymer (improved version) just because the old was once accepted?
You just said the Law was not sufficient; this means the law could not give salvation. Where really do you stand?
Let's look at your N20 example. Would it be wrong to ask that if the old paper note had the same value as the new one, why the change?
Are you saying that the law had the same value as the gospel of Jesus Christ when it comes to salvation?

If I speak plainly, you may not understand so I like making comparison to drive my point.
It's like asking "What's the essence of Democracy when we have Monarchical system before democracy comes? What is the essence of Christianity when we had our fathers who serve their gods before the white came? What is the essence of education and innovation when we have our forefathers living in huts without electricity or luxury and they were happy?
My brother, questions are endless.
My submission is "Christianity is believed to have offered a better, easier way through its teaching on living a very good life than to live by conscience without any written law about what could be right or wrong."
Disclaimer: All other written or oral traditional religions could also lay claim to this too.

Thanks
You are not making the right inferences. So under democracy, you have Freedom of speech and other freedoms. If a Monarchy offers you the same privileges and advantages of democracy, then it would be right to ask, "What's the essence of Democracy when we have a Monarchical system before democracy comes?"
So if the ways of our Fathers can give the same salvation as Christianity, it is only right to ask what the need is.

Those that died before christ came were judge based on the law

Those under grace will be judged for rejecting Jesus.
I fully understand your point. My question is, if the law was sufficient for salvation before the coming of Christ then, was there any need for Him to come?
And even after his coming, hundreds of millions died without hearing about him. For example, Christianity only came to west Africa in the sixteen century.

Would you prefer to stand before a Judge to prove your innocence and be open to his fair judgement. Or would you prefer for the president to grant you a presidential pardon?
Jesus justifies believe who trust in him alone for salvation and help even in their weaknesses.
Good works saves people who lived pious lives with good conscience irrespective of what faith or creed they belong.

Just Imagine how many Cornelius we would have in the world then. What if Cornelius has died before his encounter with Peter? Would you think I will be fair for a just God to send him to the lake of fire with the wicked people?
Would that be fair?

Thanks.
I understand what you say but you are not tackling a very serious question. If the many Cornelius who died before Christ could easily be saved without knowing him, then what is the purpose or need for his sacrifice and his gospel. Many have suffered and died preaching this gospel. If salvation is possible without hearing the gospel, then their suffering is unnecessary.
If there was salvation before Christ then what did He come to do? To bring a second salvation?
