Have you ever check a complete engine of other brand of cars? All the parts are not usually manufactured in one country. Even televisions, some of the parts are manufactured in another country. My phone is made in Hungary, while the earphones is made in Indonesia.
BMW, Mercedes manufactures almost 95% of her parts just that the country varies. BMW In China produces certain parts based on the resources here and then shipped to BMW Germany or wherever but it remains manufactured by BMW.

Operation Crocodile Smile: Troops raid residence of militant leader in Delta
Troops of 222 Battalion, 4 Brigade, of the Nigerian Army, involved in the training exercise of Operation CROCODILE SMILE, on Wednesday, raided the residence of a suspected leader of a new militant group, Otugas Fire Force, Gabriel Ogbudje.
Ogbuje is alleged to be the mastermind behind the bomb attack on Nigeria Petroleum Development Company, NPDC, trunkline in Ogor-oteri communities on 29th August 2016, in Delta State.

This was contained in a statement released by the Army spokesman, Sani Usman on Wednesday.

According to the statement, “At about 3.45am earlier today, another patrol team of the unit raided house number 4, Temile Street off Egor road in Ughelli, which served as the residence of Mr. Gabriel Ogbudje (a supposedly ex-militant leader) and now leader of the Otugas Fire Force, a new militant group in the Niger Delta.

“Although still at large, he is suspected to be responsible for the recent acts of economic sabotage perpetrated at NPDC/shoreline major delivery trunk line within Ogor-oteri communities on 29th August 2016.

“However, Messrs Vincent Ekeke and Henry Koko alongside Mrs. Racheal Abbah and Mrs. Amaratefa Odada found at the residence were invited for questioning, while efforts are ongoing to track down the wanted suspect.

“The troops will continue to maintain vigilance, carry out raids and patrols as part of the training exercise in the general area as part of their routine activities to improve proficiency and professionalism.”

The statement said the troops in its patrols raided suspected hideouts of criminals.

“Following intelligence report, a patrol team was despatched to raid suspected criminal hideouts at Ehweru community in Ughelli North LGA this morning. The team was able to track down and arrested hoodlums known for terrorising commuters plying the East-West road between Ughelli to Patani.

“The patrol team arrested 5 suspects which include Messrs Oruno Egbede, Atiyoyo Rewemuesere, Peter Kehinde, Wilson Godbless and Friday Odede. They also recovered1Locally made gun, 1 dagger and a cutlass from the suspects,” the statement added.

Usman further disclosed that a reconnaissance was also ongoing to detect the site of economic sabotage on NPDC/shoreline pipeline along Ogor-Oteri swamps in Ughelli South and Ughelli North Local Government Areas by some criminals.

Unconfirmed report available to Thegistbaze has it that the Nigeria military and Niger Delta militants have crashed in the creeks of the militants, whereby many soldiers are reportedly killed while others sustained various degrees of injury.

According to the report, most of the Nigeria soldiers were buried inside hot oil after a gun battle with militants that lasted over an hour and some minutes.

Lead vehicle hits a rut in the road and loses its axle. Trail vehicle following too closely for the speed being traveled rear ends it. Apparently the crash causes the two back tires on the right side of the vehicle to deflate. This should not have been a mobility kill. I'm sure the driver of the LAV probably sustained serious injuries in the crash.

The third vehicle in this tragic comedy zooms around the first two. This was the chance to assist his comrades but he was having none of that and simply unassed the area at high speed. I guess the thought was better "you than me".

The survivors of the crash realizes they're in deep doo-doo. I can't even imagine the conversations going on inside the vehicles at this time. The radio communication back to whatever HQ is probably laced with profanity. I'm sure prayers were said.

Didn't notice it the first time I saw the vid but the turret attempts to orient toward the enemy. I never saw it fire and the fact that the rear hatch is open means that at least one person in the vehicle has made a decision to leave on foot. The fate of one guy trying to hoof it out is shown on vid. He sprints for what looks like a half mile to me (world record fashion) and is finally clipped in the ankle and sent to Allah.

The death of the 8x8 IFV. I never saw rocket fire and it appears that they killed it with small arms. I have to repeat. Not counting personal weapons, but with the 90mm on the LAV, plus the 50 cal on the Hummer, the ambushed force had FAR MORE FIREPOWER than the enemy. They quite simply had no idea where to fire.

NIGERIAN AIR FORCE HELICOPTER ATTACKS NEW BOKO HARAM TERRORIST CAMP IN NORTHERN BORNO

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbhuOMzN2oA
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), during a night operation conducted yesterday, successfully destroyed a new Boko Haram Terrorist (BHT) Camp located between Malam Fatori and Kangarwa in Northern Borno. The new camp is about 4-6km away from the BHT location attacked earlier on 20 August 2016 by NAF Mi-17 helicopter within the same vicinity in a similar night operation that led to the death of about 300 insurgents. The post-strike Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) mission had revealed that surviving BHTs converged at the new location. The information was later confirmed to be true by series of follow-up Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions that led to the latest strike. Recall that the general area around Malam Fatori and Kangarwa is infested with BHTs hence the need to clear the remnants of BHT in the area. The air assault is therefore expected to further degrade the capability of the insurgents while fostering the creation of the necessary enablement for own ground troops to operate.

Meanwhile, NAF Alpha Jets have helped to repel an attack by BHTs on troops of 153 Battalion who were on fighting patrol at Ala Lumshe. The troops, on Saturday 27 August 2016, had come under attack from BHTs about 4km south of Marte when the Alpha Jets were called-in to dislodge the insurgents.

The Battle At Mammy Yoko Hotel, Freetown On 26th May 1997The Battle At Mammy Yoko Hotel, Freetown On 26th May 1997

Nigeria has played a dominant role in ensuring the stability of the West African sub-region and its troops have shown exceptional valour in taming some of the most savage conflicts including the Sierra Leone Civil War. An outstanding show of bravery and iron-like tenacity took place at the luxurious Mammy Yoko Hotel in the Sierra Leone capital of Freetown.
Six years after the brutal start of the war in 1991 between the government and bloodthirsty rebel army, the Revolutionary United Front (RUF), a military coup by Sierra Leone Army (SLA) officers overthrew then President Tejan Kabbah and brought Major Johnny Koroma to power. Astonishingly this new regime invited the RUF to help it capture Freetown from forces loyal to Kabbah. The RUF had since the beginning of the war engaged in mutilation, mass rape, looting and unspeakable evil that elevated the horror of war to a new level. The RUF accepted the invitation and helped the regime, known as the Armed Forces Revolutionary Council (AFRC) capture Freetown. With this done, a wave of death, mutilation, torture and rape swept the capital.
The international community including Nigeria was outraged at the coup and carnage and opposed the new regime. Suddenly, Nigerian troops who had been stationed in that country for years as part of the ECOMOG force as allies of the Sierra Leone soldiers found that their allies had become overnight enemies. Fewer than 700 grossly outnumbered Nigerian soldiers were suddenly pinned down in a hostile capital crawling with thousands of soldiers and deadly rebels who had been on the receiving end of Nigerian bullets for some time. Out of the modest number of troops, 50 men were posted to secure the luxurious and International Mammy Yoko Hotel which was safe haven for more than 1000 foreigners unable to leave the country including West Africans, Lebanese and international journalists. Unfortunately for the lightly armed men at the hotel, a Nigerian warship stationed offshore started shelling the Sierra Leone Army headquarters. This angered the SLA troops and their RUF allies who in their thousands angrily attempted to storm the hotel, and laid siege with rocket launchers, assault rifles, heavy machine guns and other heavy weapons including a few strikes by an attack helicopter piloted by a Ukranian mercenary.
The Nigerian troops spread themselves out over strategic areas of the huge building (especially the roof) and frustrated the vastly superior rebel force for several hours, killing many RUF rebels and SLA fighters. This group of Nigerian fighters not only secured the hotel, it also committed a sizeable part of the enemy forces in the intense firefight and bought time for the larger Nigerian force to secure the airport and enable Nigerian Air-force jets take control of the airspace as well as ground forces that eventually recaptured Freetown.

Nigerian soldiers are among the finest fighters in the world and on a good day they can really kick butt! Enough respect to the Nigerian Armed Forces. Keeping the peace everywhere they are called to.

Keneking:
Nice...

Nickel-containing materials play a major role in our everyday lives – food preparation equipment, mobile phones, medical equipment, transport, buildings, power generation – the list is almost endless. They are selected because - compared with other materials - they offer better corrosion resistance, better toughness, better strength at high and low temperatures, and a range of special magnetic and electronic properties.

Most important are alloys of iron, nickel and chromium, of which stainless steels (frequently 8-12% nickel) are the largest volume. Nickel based alloys - like stainless steel but with higher nickel contents - are used for more demanding applications such as gas turbines and some chemical plants.Turbine

In addition, iron and nickel alloys are used in electronics and specialist engineering, while copper-nickel alloys are used for coinage and marine engineering.

There are about 3000 nickel-containing alloys in everyday use. About 90% of all new nickel sold each year goes into alloys, two-thirds going into stainless steel.

But soon some government officials would begin to use to fill pot-holes grin

But where is lalasticlala sef undecided
I hope we do not sell this. Nickel is of great use in engineering and material science.
