Shymm3xx: God forbid a war breaks out in Africa - these are the countries Nigeria would have to compete with for air superiority (looool):
Algeria - Su-30 and MiG-29
Angola -Su-30 and Su-27
Egypt - F-16 Fighting Falcon and Dassault Mirage 2000
Uganda - SU-30
Tunisia - F-16
Morocco - F-16
South Africa - Saab JAS 39 Gripen
Lol, it's going to be so one sided that these countries would fly into Nigeria and bomb any part of Nigeria at will. These are African countries - not even mid-tier countries. SMH. That's not possible. With our navy and air defense systems. |

africaken254: jesus christ ! @ tdayof did you assume that was my intention.i know for sure nigeria air force had to have them weaponised, because by US law the company that had acquired those alpha jets from germany had to remove components e.g fire control systems which would have allowed those jet to drop bombs or fire rockets lol sorry I got your post wrong. |

Do you even know what grossly dwarfs is? Some comments you people make leaves me shaking my head in amusement.
The Ethiopian or South-African air forces are in no shape or form better than the Nigerian Air Force. After Egypt, Algeria and Morocco, Nigeria is next.
South-Africa, a country that has only 8 or 9 Gripen pilots is what your comparing to a Nigeria. Nice post. Good to have you talk some sense into their head in here. |

dermmy: Forget JF-17 Alex Badeh and former Airforce chief went to pakistan to inspect this jet and the money for the purchase of JF-17 were released but they embezzeled the money. NAF is eyeing Scorpion joint strike fighter. It's a new fighter et designed in the United States. JF-17 is a cute fighter but our former military chiefs aborted because of their stomach. Dnt mind that guy i dnt knw where he wants us to see d money to buy and maintain f-35 stealth. JF-17 is still on. Will be sure to mention you when it arrives. |

Nigeria with all her resources wey suppose boast of top notch military hardware shouldnt be celebrating an alpha jet recon Tell me how we are behind south africa? Ethiopia only has air superiority over us with her su 27 and we will match them up with the JF-17's. |

jakeporeshenko: NAF is really taking PR serious these days. I think it's all about leadership, this current Chief of air staff knows the benefits. Kudos to them for keeping the citizens informed.
NAF SUCCESSFULLY TEST FIRES ANOTHER LOCALLY WEAPONIZED A-JET AIRCRAFT The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) today successfully test fired another locally weaponized Alpha Jet aircraft acquired from overseas without weapon delivery capability. The latest feat makes the third Alpha Jet aircraft to be so reconfigured and weaponised locally. The NAF, at the heat of the Boko Haram insurgency, had acquired three Alpha Jet aircraft from private individuals in the United States however without combat capability. Subsequent efforts to use foreign vendors to re-militarise the aircraft proved abortive for several reasons. The challenge led the NAF to look inward for solution locally by assembling a team of engineers and technicians designated NAF “Technical Response Team (TRT)” comprising serving and retired NAF personnel, and civilians. The team, has since its inauguration, achieved tremendous successes that have greatly enhanced the operational capability of the NAF, especially with respect to the ongoing fight against the Boko Haram insurgency in the North East, as well as saved huge foreign exchange for the nation. One other major feat achieved with the latest reconfigured aircraft is its ability to fire rockets and bombs from both the East and West blocks. This is a good development. It should open the government eyes to see the need for more research and development and reduce the dependency on foreign technology. |

As for Samsung s6 , which I was opportuned to lay my hand on it and took some pictures with it because it is a phone my course mate is using, I can authoritatively tell you that c9 took more decent and clear picture than s6. Are you joking or what? |

Ibadan is not fast growing because religion has crippled their reasoning for Development. They look contented without development, so what the need? Many Ibadan guys on NL can attest to this. Enough of all this political shiits in Nigeria. Every actions/ blames are always directed to buhari because of the hatred you all have for him. Do Nigerians forget easily? What happened to Amaechi? What happened to Aminu Tanbuwal? A sitting governor and the speaker house of assembly. Those shiit happened during GEJ regime and everyone keeps blaming PMB for what happened today in rivers state.
I am not trying to blame GEJ or support PMB. What I am trying to say is being politically biased will not help anyone in this country. The fact also remains no one gives a damn about your opinions. When we see whatever that is right let us all appreciate it. |

If there were civilians, the fighter pilot would relay his findings and mission control would tell him the next course of action. What is this one saying? |
