Sorry i'm seeing this now, i hope its not late...NO you don't have to pay anything if you are submitting your passport to the same VAC you gave your biometrics...in fact if you live far from Lagos like me you can use a prepaid self addressed return courier to send and receive your passport, and you don't have to pay VAC anything, just your passport, passport request letter and the prepaid self addressed return envelope...its super fast...that's what i used, i sent may passport last week Tuesday and received it back on Tuesday this week with my TRV...

Quick one please. I want to submit my passport tomorrow in person. Do I have to pay the N7,690 for passport transmission? I understand that I don't have to pay if I am sending my passport to the same VAC as where I provided my biometric information. Please confirm.

For the hospital to have sent in your medical report, it means that cic must have requested for it. Which means you are on your way to get your TRV, cos cic will not request for your medicals if they want to refuse you.

If they have received your medicals, your status will show "Medical report under review". Keep hoping and praying, I will pray with you.

I sent it to Accra but I CC Lagos to it and it was on thursday, I got no response, the problem is still there, sent them another today, yet to get any response and the problem is still there.

And it's the same issue as yours, been over a week the hospital said they sent in my Med and yet nothing from CIC, not even a we av received it message!

Who did you address your email to? I initially sent an email to lagosimmigration@international.gc.ca on friday, but they responded saying that all study permits are processed in Accra. So I resent the email to accra.immigration@international.gc.ca yesterday and they responded today.

I sent them an email and they just responded and gave me the accurate info.

...so guys, my TRV will be delayed a bit. I just got an email that my 2 year old daughter also has to do Medicals. I initially got the impression that she doesn't need to. I guess it's because she will be attending school. Doing the medicals for her tomorrow.

So for those doing upfront and applying with their kids, pls do upfront for them as well.

i just graduated october 2014.
in Truth i can only point at the advanced diplomas duration is my undoing.
@launrey also went for advanced diploma but its a 2year course and on the form where u need to input ur level of study he put certificate while i put diploma.
The lowest pre-requisite for his adv diploma is a BSC, while i gained admission with my high school certificates.

The centennial admission should sort it out, i would just try to tweak my statement of purpose relating my first application and my new program of study.

I submitted the following for her:

1. Application for Visitor Visa made Outside of Canada (IMM5257E)
2. Copy of her passport data page and Visa pages
3. Her passport Photograph

Then you will have to fill "Use of a Family Member Representative for Online Applications (IMM5713E)" and upload with your app. The form authorises you to apply on your daughter's behalf.
