Believe you me the first category are always more favoured in getting visa of any country than the second category. The excellent category are the people who has above 75 percent in there undergraduate and/or have very valuable work experience. This is why i will always advise undergraduates that has plans to check out of naija in the nearest future to embrace their academics with all sense of diligence and try to finish with very good CGPA. Laziness finished most of us including myself. Canada does not want just immigrants,they want raw talents. Congrats kol1234. Darefestus dont worry, it is for a reason. I am a PG student in one of Nigeria's federal universities, and will be representing the school at a conference at the Uni of Waterloo, Canada by August. I need help/info on the type of visa, costs as well as the mode of application. The conference is just for a week.

i was told to request my institution to send my transcript directly...also my lecturers to send my reference letters directly( 3 diff lecturers separately)..and i should send my resume my self..that sounds like 5 diff mails..me am an ijebu boy...(5 diff mail @ abt 10k) when admission neva sure.

so i called the school if i can collect all documents in sealed envelops and send as one mail..and they said it was ok..that the secretary would transfer them to there respective points.

so i kept all sealed 5 envelops in a bigger one..which i addressed to the school., kept my name on it, and listed all other documents inside it. and sent it via DHL myself. (now i spent just abt 10k instead of 50).ALL GOT RECIEVED AND WAS UPDATED ON MY DOC PROFILE..call the school to ask the secretary if u can do same.

have done it for 3 diff schools. UofR, UofM, U of Waterloo

this particular financial doc dey test me ooo. from 28mb, i was able to reduce it to 5.02mb, i beg you guys, which one of this docs can i take out? i was thinking the one marked in red. but even if i removed it, i will be at 4.02mb helppppppp. what can i do?

All schools have their own format. Don't be confused.

[b] We seem to have high rate of refusal on this thread for 2 main reasons in my opinion:

1) 90% of visitors to this thread only come here to ask for guidance when their applications get rejected, hence the denial stories. This thread is more like a hospital than a recreational centre,one their issue gets resolved and they get their visa, you'll never see their break light again.

2) Most of us here joined this thread cos they had some difficulties at one point or the other, and needed help (pls don't quote attack me, I said most not all) from guys in here free of charge,considering the fact that agents will even want to collect the whole money the applicant might plan to use boosting his account. At times, their issues are resolved, they zoom off and won't even tell you they've got TRV except a few. They only come back when it doesn't work and they are denied.

Only a handful come to this thread and remain here borne out of passion to help others (God bless them real good).

Outside this thread, a lot of guys esp those from affluent homes get their TRVs like UK visa cos the money is there and the VOs don't have an option. (imagine a senator's child applying for Canada visa, what is he or she looking for in this thread?) ..

In summary, this thread is more like a traveling to Canada preparation centre (equivalent of a walk-in clinic)... How many healthy people do you see in the hospital except those that came for check up? (like some do come for check up here to confirm if their documents are on order before submitting). Even Jesus Christ said it in the Bible "Only the sick need the physician".


Whatever be the issue we have here pertaining our TRV application, by trying our best and putting God first in our TRV mission, we'll definitely get good news soonest.

I believe those that have paid the full tuition and those with scholarship always stand a higher chance of being approved. Every other applicant would likely fall under the balance of probability and the VO's discretion.

With the kain cgpa wey she get..nothing wrong in addressing her as ''Sir'' on top ''do bale'' sef.
