lol. Thank you so much! My dear, no be by that one o. This one is God for me. I was really scared especially because a lot of people had reservations about applying with my daughter cos of home tie thing. I think it is always better to know that your app is not perfect, that way, you just rely solely on God...his grace can NEVER be over emphasised!!! richcasey: Team12 I'm not typing this because you already received you medical call. Because I actually used your documents submitted as a guideline for mine. I almost wanted to mention you yesterday to say if you didn't get it I would barb gorimapa. You were detailed to the core. Although I couldn't be as detailed as you were but I tap into your testimony. |

It means your application is being processed. Mine still says "open". It remains open until a final decision has been reached. I wish you God's favour! easyxtan: Congratulation Team 12, I have a question, My Online application status is Open does it mean processing of my application has not started? If application is been process, will they Update it on MYCIC that my application is been process? |

You say you did upfront meds and they are requesting for another? Keep praying. |

Let me be the first to release good news from those on the list of TRV hopefuls....
I just got a request for my medicals....I almost fainted when i got the email and was shaking as I was logging into my account.
But I did an upfront medicals sha and i uploaded the proof of medicals to my app. I guess I will just contact the hospital to send my result.
I am soooo happy, considering the fact that I applied with my daughter... I Can't stop thanking God.
...and to think that I just sent @Taike an email telling her how scared I am and I also sent @mrnlbrown an email for an option 2 with aussie...
Applied 15 may (online) Biometrics 19 May medical call 11 June
Less than a month!!! Na God win ooooo |

@ahyotmiwa I agree with you. This works too. I used this approach when I had to send transcript and reference letters from my lecturers to UofW. The difference is that I was the sender. But some schools are very particular about the Nigerian school sending transcript directly to them, so it depends on the school he is applying to. I know UofW and UofM don't mind. @Bamz, if your school does not mind who sends what, you can actually adopt @ahyotmiwa's approach by sending everything in one big envelope and stating your name as the sender (this is way cheaper). Otherwise, you can use the approach I stated in my earlier post. In all you do, make sure you don't open the transcript envelope o. Just put the sealed transcript along with other documents in one big envelope and send, but don't use the Nigerian school as sender if you adopt this approach. I believe you now have enough information to make a decision... ahyotomiwa: @BAMZ.
i was told to request my institution to send my transcript directly...also my lecturers to send my reference letters directly( 3 diff lecturers separately)..and i should send my resume my self..that sounds like 5 diff mails..me am an ijebu boy...(5 diff mail @ abt 10k) when admission neva sure.
so i called the school if i can collect all documents in sealed envelops and send as one mail..and they said it was ok..that the secretary would transfer them to there respective points.
so i kept all sealed 5 envelops in a bigger one..which i addressed to the school., kept my name on it, and listed all other documents inside it. and sent it via DHL myself. (now i spent just abt 10k instead of 50).ALL GOT RECIEVED AND WAS UPDATED ON MY DOC PROFILE..call the school to ask the secretary if u can do same.
have done it for 3 diff schools. UofR, UofM, U of Waterloo |

Please ensure that the transcript from your school is sealed o. Do not include any test result in the same envelope as your transcript. This is what I did... Step 1: Get your school to issue a transcript (official) with forwarding letter to the sch in Canny. The transcript should be put in an envlope addessed to the canadian sch, sealed, signed and stamped across the seal. Step 2: Get the school secretary (or whover is supposed to post it on behlf of your Nigeria school) to put the sealed envelope in another envelope (normal brown A4 envelope) address to you and send it to you via public transport (bus) Step 3: When you get the parcel, open the envelop addressed to you, bring out the sealed transcript, go to Fedex (they are very cheap-about #10, 260) and send the sealed envelope (transcript) to the school in Canada with your Nigerian school as the sender.Fedex delivers in 3 working days. Note: If you have other documents you need to send, like official test results, you have to send it seperately, even though it's going to the same school as your transcript. It will only cost you additional money. PLS DO NOT SEND IT IN THE SAME ENVELOPE WITH YOUR TRANSCRIPT, in order to avoid a situation where the Canadian school is wondering how your naija sch got your test result to the extent of helping you send it with your transript (since your naija school is the sender). If possible, do not send the test result same day with your transcript... Pps pardon any typo... in a hurry Cheers! Bamz: Oh thanks a lot Vycta. That's one great idea. |

I will suggest you guys scan as black and white o. It is better for the VO to be able to read its content than over compress coloured documents that the VOs cannot read. ugosh: Please which application did you use to reduce it from 28mb to 5.02mb ? |

Thanks Bro..... see you in Canada soon jooo |

Amen o!!! How many cartons u want? Infact you deserve the whole UAC bakery for that prayer Fhemmmy: Very interesting that people are still on issues of tax or not tax almost 24 hours after.... lemme ask this: 1. If Canada say your income tax should be 50%, how many will return the visa and say forget you? 2.How many applicants will write in the Sop that the tax is too high? 3. How many current applicants will cancel the application because of the taxes? If none, then please sheath all sword.... purpose of this thread is to help people "chop ".visa and hopefully they will remember me nd bring me some gala.
Yes, Fhemmmy don't know it ALL and never claim to do so, however the earlier we lay aside the entitlement attitude better for us all.... Canada is a "no man"s land"
You my brother and sister only last within the church and only few carey on such outside od the wall of the church.
I was taken out of context but if you have beef or problem with me, lets take it off this thread and attack me via my mail.....
Again, please allow the applicants to enjoy the thread and move one...... one love and reapect to everyone however i still awaits my gala from all visa choppers.
See you all in Canada and God bless you with favor |

...I am speechless. Thanks dearie!!! Nail on the head! Onyeoma3: We seem to have high rate of refusal on this thread for 2 main reasons in my opinion:
1) 90% of visitors to this thread only come here to ask for guidance when their applications get rejected, hence the denial stories. This thread is more like a hospital than a recreational centre, one their issue gets resolved and they get their visa, you'll never see their break light again.
2) Most of us here joined this thread cos they had some difficulties at one point or the other, and needed help (pls don't quote attack me, I said most not all) from guys in here free of charge, considering the fact that agents will even want to collect the whole money the applicant might plan to use boosting his account. At times, their issues are resolved, they zoom off and won't even tell you they've got TRV except a few. They only come back when it doesn't work and they are denied.
Only a handful come to this thread and remain here borne out of passion to help others (God bless them real good).
Outside this thread, a lot of guys esp those from affluent homes get their TRVs like UK visa cos the money is there and the VOs don't have an option. (imagine a senator's child applying for Canada visa, what is he or she looking for in this thread?) ..
In summary, this thread is more like a traveling to Canada preparation centre (equivalent of a walk-in clinic)... How many healthy people do you see in the hospital except those that came for check up? (like some do come for check up here to confirm if their documents are on order before submitting). Even Jesus Christ said it in the Bible "Only the sick need the physician".
Whatever be the issue we have here pertaining our TRV application, by trying our best and putting God first in our TRV mission, we'll definitely get good news soonest.
All the best to all the applicants
N/b: There are more silent followers than active guys in this thread from my observation, most of the silent followers become temporarily active when they have issues or get denied |
