It depends on the airline, although for most airline the difference is not much. For emirates, the one way ticket is significantly lower than return ayooluwatoni: That's another point anyway, most times the diff is always btw 50k and 100k |

Madam, anything liquid is not allowed oooo. Even if u dont check it in and you put it in your back pack, the scanner will detect it, and since its alcohol, u wont be allowed to drink it before boarding. They will just seize d thing. TheBae: You can take it in, they might not notice but if they notice there just might be a little problem because I noticed that they didn't list the ingredients on the origin can or bottle. But they most likely won't notice anyway |

Arik=delay or flight cancellation. The best i do is use them for local flights cos there is no better option. But even if they give me free ticket to fly them international, i no go take ooo. I can't fit to shout!!! GboyegaD: You no love Arik International flights? Their food is so Nigerian. I love them from New York to Lagos but their Lagos to New York flight experience no dey too sweet because den go always delay. |

I give it to airfrance and klm in terms of food...but none is still up to my dearest emirates when it comes to hospitality, food and comfort CoCoLav: First week in September same as TheBae Can't believe Lufthansa food is wack. That's why I like Air France...they serve Croissant. |

You misunderstood @AriseOcompatriot... He meant he would get a 3 yrs PGWP becos his MBA was 2 yrs as against the 1 year prog at Centennial...and I really think he was just talking on a lighter note though. No need to let out all that energy... @the bolded is sooo outta line... standupguy: Honestly there was no single agression intended in my previous post. He compared MBA earnings to PGD, I merely pointed out the disadvantage.
His post mentioned schools popularity, I pointed out how that doesn't affect anything including job hunting.( His post also agrees with this)
Finally he tried to insinuate that only MBA leads to 3yrs PGWP which is false and misinformation.
The self absorbing, delusion reeking creep can't even discuss the misinformation he went so deep his rectum to pull out |

There is no mismatch btw microbiology and nursing... Chars1289: In your quest to get into the head and mind of the v.o,u over flog issues atimes and doesnt help ur deductions lots of times. Lemme remind you if you failed to recollect, someone here got his/her trv applied for a SECOND DEGREE in Nursing and studied microbiology as first degree here in Nig.Is that not a course mismatch? why was he/she not denied or was the v.o that approved such visa high on burukutu. If you care to recollect too mevisbleek said it couple of times that he met few Nigs in Canada recently who had a course mismatch. You make it look as if it is a general rule for the V.Os to deny any applicant based on course mismatch.
Enough Said.Bye |

I have not seen anyone who did upfront medicals and was required to go for medicals again. Once the medical request drops all you need to do is call the hospital and your medical status on cic will change same day. OyBosEnEmm: Congrats!!! Kindly share your docs. Did u do upfront medical cos we have read cases where upfront medics are still required to go for medical again. |

Thanks dear. I know right; someone I have PMed said they added it to the letter of explanation section...My letter of explanation section has reached its limit in terms of size, I am thinking of added it to the "Proof of Relationship" section....***thinking***. I also added a copy of my TRV and POE Intro letter. Also an allocation of a 2 bedroom apartment (Family Housing) from my school and deposit confirmation...what do you think? Are u applying for SOWP?? chumsyzynny: Lol @Team 12. I don't think there is a family information form on the SOWP. |

There is no where on the cic website that says u must get to Canada first. I have all d docs requested and i have a successful case to work by ... Nothing ventured, nothing gained! If it doesn't work out, I will try again... hayqinsbFX: Madam team12 Why not get to canada first then apply for it. It's just my own stupid or pessimistic opinion o... I just feel it's early for it now.... |

My people help me oo. I am trying to apply for Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP) and there is no place to upload the "Family Information Form" . The checklist i generated also did not state anything about Family Information, but my understanding has always been that you need the form as long as you are going to get a TRV. Please for those who have applied for SOWP online, please help. @akanni, @Taiwokazx an others, I await your swift response |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by Team12: 9:16pm On Jul 17, 2015 |
bro, @ the bolded; for those who got another medical request, that must have been an oversight from the VO. If you notice, all those people did was to call their hospital and in less than 30 minutes or at most the same day, the issue got resolved and medical status changed. berexio1: LOL@Upfront medical is the best ?Didn't u see that pple with upfront still get called for results cos CIC don't concern themselves with it? And then those that have done it can still get refused either paper or online. There is no statement that guarantees TRV after medicals, so CIC has enough flexible grounds cos of where they stand. |

Here goes my quota theory!!! I remember stating earlier in the year that there must be a quota per year or per province but some people strongly disagreed. It's just the sane thing to do for any organised country...It's called planning! Rolatims: Guys bin here for a while,, I check this topic everyday and I got my trv Tru dis trend in 2013....I Dey Canada presently and @ chrigo na my right hand man here ..there is this my friend that works at immigration office here...She be Canadian and we are pretty close...I called her to ask about the recent refusal ish yesterday after peeps Don do medical... and she told me that ,,if na for fall intake dem Don almost reach dem quota so they look for any possible excuse to deny anyone ...She herself na VO and she tell me say this stuffs no really get reason but them no fit give everyone visa especially when dem Don almost reach d quota for d year .... |

Please don't reach that conclusion. I have people that mailed cic and still got their TRV. You can never be punished for following guidelines from their website. They specifically have "Case Specific inquiry" link on their website for people to complain about their delayed app (beyond 8 weeks)...Stay positive!!! Guys, when your app is more than 8 weeks, rather than send normal email to accra.immigration@international.gc.ca, please use the link below to send a case specific enquiry to cic. If your app is still less than 8 weeks, do not use the link belowhttps://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=accra@Richcasey, please add this to your list of links. Thanks! pcachuks: Does this mean we shouldn't email them again ? so mailing CIC now na automatic refusal? Please which email address you use email them ? |

Congrats @ Minnietope. I appreciate people like you who know what they want; sift advice received, and take the bold step!!! Congrats once again.
...so I think we have a number of married women with kids who have recorded success stories on this thread despite discouragement from every corner. I have therefore made the following conclusions:
1. You can get your TRV even if you apply with your child (@Team12- I was advised not to try it, but I did and it worked and very fast!) 2. Pregnancy is not a risk to getting your TRV (@Ivylane) 3. You can apply with kids and spouse at the same time and still get your TRV (@Ivylane and @Minnietope; until this very moment, I would have advised otherwise, but now I know better. Thank you for giving us a proof dear, your case shall be used for other couples)
One thing you will notice from the cases I listed above is that we had a lot of documents in our app. But as much as the documents were, they each served a purpose because it takes a lot of convincing and homework to submit with your whole family and still tell the VO that you plan to return.
No two apps are same, ensure you submit only documents relevant to your app and peculiar situation. That Taiye submitted only 3 documents and got TRV, does not mean Kehinde should also submit the same 3 documents, because their situations may be different.
Cheers!!! |
