superstar1: If they are the senior in order of hierarchy, will they go and bring somebody else that is junior just to please other ethnic groups. You are just hopping around brandishing your ignorance. If they were competent, how did Nigeria get to the rot GEJ is trying to fix? Do you know that a lower ranking officer will be given double promotion if need be just so a Northerner gets the seat. Like I said, you know nothing, stop making mockery of your self. |
superstar1: I don't learn from Methuselahs that only have age but lack wisdom knowledge and understanding to grace the age. I will rather remain the kid I am, than grow up to be like you at your old age.Remain a toddler then. Your call. |
rudedough: When it happens again, like your fathers, you'll wake up the next morning and go about your daily struggle. After-all, it no concern you.I have taken your word to the freezer, I'll bring it back for you to eat it in due time. |
ilugunboy: It can only get worse as we head into 2015.That in itself is an undoing for the opposition. GEJ's results will be there to speak for him before then. Power, Transportation, Aviation, The Economy and many other sectors are rapidly changing. Don't tell me you don't know! |
shizzle11: Ethnicity has always being the bane of the Nigerian society. imagine what Nigeria would be if nepotism and tribalism was to be at the nearest minimumSincerely, we are not a "country". I'm not sure tribalism can be overcome, but SNC can define for us a path that even with ethnicity, nepotism or tribalism we may still be able to handle corruption and move on. |
superstar1: Hear yourself Mr. Methuselah, hoodlums prevented a whole country called nigeria with all the forces, both physical and spiritual, from arresting Ibori. The guy must be Amadioha, sango and Ogun at the same time- 3-in-1.The icing on the cake for childishness. You know nothing about Ibori and his case with EFCC and you are not willing to learn. |
ilugunboy: Show me a major political bloc in the West or the North that have the cover for GEJ...I don't need to, wait until 2015. |
st mathew: Baba Obasanjo I respect your talk as an elder state man,but as a sitting president when he came on board, can't he learn on how to do the needfull, pls try go through the interview of Madiba on Nigeria in 2007, you will weep for Nigeria, GEJ is not a leader, he is a novies in politics, he should go back to Bayelsa and enjoy his loots, he Relied on Anenih who can not even win his ward who can not account for billions he collect on Benin Ore roadNigeria "suddenly" found herself in the hand of thieves after 50years of decay caused by the west and North? Hmm, tell me what I don't know. |
ilugunboy: I will take that in bold to be a joke coming from a profoundly deluded mind.Actually, it's folks like you that underestimate the support GEJ has both in the West and North. the forces were there before he ever got into office in 2010.Its not new. |
Billyonaire: 5. Is there ANY relationship between the sudden upheavals from all quarters for GEJ to not contest 2015, and the expiry of MOST Oil Blocs (OML & OPL) Licenses between 2017 and 2022 ?This is their greatest fear and they will do the pull-him-down by all means till 2015. |
ckkris: The opposition has almost exhausted their plans, and are haranguing the President to do same, but he won't. Incumbency is enormous advantage, & they know it. Besides, first two years is always for difficult decisions, like fuel subsidy, unbundling NEPA, etc. From 2014 it will be populist programmes & projects going into elections. That's why the opposition started harassing him early enough, to extract undue concessions. But no way, the man doesn't get moved. So long as the entire PDP structure is very loyal to him, and they are. If they plot military coups, the consequence will be dire, and may last as long as the previous ones.As much as I would like to agree on the strategy of APC, I still think GEJ's PR team is not doing enough. There's the need for people to continually see what's been done by the government. Someone installs a 10kva generator, he goes on air to make a show of it. Yet his government has done so much in the last few years they are not talking about. Some states attribute FG projects to themselves and their people may not even know. |
shizzle11: I strongly disagree with you.Thank you. At least I have one who understands the true monster called "ethnicity". |
trillville: I know a lot about Nigeria. I know it is a shitty place led by men of little values and with no names to protect. we are where we are today because people refuse to prosecute corrupt individuals. All Nigeria needs is a leader that will plug the leak by stopping the stealing. He does not necessarily have to start prosecuting every person that has stolen before his tenure, but he must stop people from stealing during his tenure. There is a system which has been built on wrong foundations of ethnicity, until that is addressed corruption can never be fought headlong. That's why I support SNC. The only reason you are seeing the propaganda war is again because of the tribe f of which GEJ came. If he was a Northerner or S-Westerner it would be a different song. Who killed EFCC, persecuted Ribadu, supported Ibori? A Northern president. Yet we never heard them cry blue murder. |
rudedough: You should check your history bro, retiring Military Generals when a new politician assumes office wouldn't change anything.Delusional, no pun intended. You sound like that's what you want not that it will be possible for Nigeria to have a coup. |
superstar1: Oga don't thread the part of abuse. I won't spare you. If you are a jjc here, tone down your kid name calling. You are actually sounding more like a kid with every post. And you threatening me? lol. How did Ibori get to UAE? You didn't know that EFCC was sent after him and he fled after using hoodlums to prevent his arrest in Oghara? |
superstar1: Ordinary Nigerians do not give a hoot about ethnicity once they can boast of access to basic needs of life.Again, you sound like a kid. Corruption has been since before Independence. It worsened after independence. But it was given birth to by wrong foundation on which Nigeria is built. Let me help you out: Federal Character policy is a result of ethnicity and it's a strong foundation for inefficiency and corruption. |
superstar1: Liar. It was Uk that went after Ibori not your Mr Clueless One.You must be a kid right? UK went after Ibori in Oghara, his home town in Delta state? Lol. Very funny. |
POPE II: I hope a coup is not in the making, na wa ooo can you free the man ? Was your presidency perfect? Where is the money of our power that you embezzled? Talk about pot calling kettle black . Jona has been elected, let the people decide if they want to continue with him or not .2015 is not far .Bros, there's no reason to fear. We ar no longer in 1966. A coup will end "Nigeria" and the so called Oil revenue. Let them try it. It will be the quickest way to America's prediction of disintegration. |
superstar1: Whether EFCC is sham or not, it earned the country international recognition, demonstrated to the world that we are confronting our number 1 problem, made Nigeria to command respect on the world scene, played a major role in our debt ring forgiven, assisted in encouraging foreign investors to come into nigeria. At the bolded. Our number 1 problem is the wrong foundation on which the Nigeria is built. "Ethnicity". Not corruption as you mentioned. Corruption is an offshoot. My proof, China is corrupt, France, Italy, Brazil, Mexico and many other Asian, Middle East, European nations are corrupt but yet there's a difference. |
trillville: A stronger president would do his job and ensure that farcrook would be sentenced to jail irrespective of northern sentiments. He is also the president of the north and he should be seen as the leader of every quarter of the country.Even when your post is read 10x it's still saying the same thing: that you know little about Nigeria. If Buhari becomes president tomorrow will he prosecute Tinubu? How has Ribadu become Tinubu's partner? Was he not the same person who said Tinubu is the most corrupt politician in Nigeria? What about El Rufai and Buhari? El Rufai once said Buhari is not electable. Same with Bakare. How did they all become allies. Yea, I remember, GEJ is from a minority group. No? |
nagoma: That will be for ever. So was Ibori's case and many former governors now in parliament apparently making laws for you and me.Again you guys are showing your stupidity and hypocrisy. The said Ibori was a king under a Northern president Yar'Adua. It was GEJ who went after him until he fled. El Rufai and Ribadu were persecuted by the same Yar'Adua of the North. They became free under the same GEJ. So what ar you talking about. |
trillville: Stop being foolish, not everyone is a political hack like you. We want GEJ to do his job irrespective of political affiliations. Farcrook should be in jail, oduah should also be heading to jail by now if not for the ineptitude of GEJ.This post is a summation of your low level of reasoning. Again, Farouq is free because opposition and the North plaid the victim card on him. Oduah's case is a farce created by APC and Lagos propaganda machinery. If they are so certain there's money stolen why is APC not in court since they claim GEJ refused to prosecute her? And lastly, shhhhh. None of you APC fellows want GEJ to succeed, it has been that way since he got into office. |
funshint: Why don't U̶̲̥̅̊ rather say that all the corruption cases in this administration were cooked up... What a life!!!You said nothing. I mentioned each case earlier stated specifically. Are you aware Tukur's sons are currently facing subsidy prosecution. Are you aware Lamido's son too. These are all PDP stalwarts currently serving. |
... |
engrfcuksmtin: Corrupt cases like Oduahgate, Faroukgate, Inflated subsidy fund, non refute of funds into federation account, increased in oil theft..............fear GodYour level of awareness is shallow. When Farouq was facing the song, it was the same opposition that screamed GEJ was oppressing him. The same Tambuwal who is now spewing rubbish were the ones who fought to give Farouq a soft landing. Oduah did nothing. It's just another APC scheme. All APC governors were behind the said subsidy removal, remember Oshiomole was one of the most outspoken governors in support of the removal? So called oil revenue theft, NNPC has corrected SLS in his ignorance. |
taharqa: Did you IJIOTS read d Response of d NNPC or am I missing smtin here??They read the lines that suits their hate for GEJ. SLS has been rubbished by NNPC who by the way did not intend what APC is insinuating. There's also a thread where one of the parastatals mentioned declared their remittance to CBN. |
EBK2: So the figures are correct then. The problem is now who is submitting what to who. It does appear that not a lot of people in that administration has and end to end view of things. GEJ should get his act together and build a team-based administration. They are all over the place at the moment. The gang up of the extremist North and West. GEJ is a blessing, if it was their likes that is in Aso Rock, I bet there'ld be no Nigeria and no oil revenue to start with. |
Billyonaire: The response from NNPC is highly professional, just the opposite of what Sanusi wrote.Exactly what I was going to say, as usual, precisely put. |
Omexonomy: APC and their media arms are nothing but children of collective anger. As much as I detest APC, I'm really more concerned with GEJ's media team being aggressive showcasing developments. If they do, all these lies from APC would be immaterial. |
onyxo76: that's why they always go strike because they know that most if not all their demands will be met. Which other union aside them and PENGASSAN win its 'battles' with FG, NLC tried it last year during fuel subsidy crises and 'sold' out after one week.It means you don't know what's happening. Their cry is that they have not been getting what they want even when past governments promised to. |
Moxie4lyf: this dude, you suck big time...You hypocrite sounding like you care about good governance. You think everyone is gullible like you. I live in Lagos so I'll like to hear about good governance in the past 2years. |
chi4ik: I know I may have written this out of annoyance but to b frank, the rate of insult Nairalanders ar giving GEJ is too much. Hw do U expect foreigners to respect Nig or our president when we ar d one destroying his name? Don't U ppl know that this is internet that anybody all over d world can read? Pls all of us have our own problem $ mistakes but pls let respect this man GEJ $ pray 4 better NigYou are right. But don't let them make you think it's the whole Nigeria that's insulting the president. It's the opposition leaders and supporters from the West and North. Specifically APC. The simple reason is because GEJ from a monitory and a Christian Southerner is president. Take it from me, they have shot themselves in the foot. That seat will be too hot by the time an APC leader get there (that's if it ever happens). |
