eggheaders: hey man, ain't gat any party affiliation.and ain't saying the acn government are saints and have performed 100% well.but it a big lie to say they not putting great efforts in getting things fixed.compared with the shyte the pdp gat to offer talking from experience from the alao akala bastardization of oyo state and other pdp failures in the south west pre acn. What then is your stand for criticizing GEJ knowing fully well the nation has been retrogressing for decades? ACN has being in power for 14/15 years now in Lagos, so I don't understand what you are saying. |
eko ilee: Tinubu is not a public official, he's a private citizen so in what way is he corrupt? With a post like this, you have no moral stand to criticize opposition and GEJ. This is pathetic. Like I said, I started out as a pro ACN supporter but gradually shifted position to neutrality with an irk for opposition ACN/CPC, thanks to folks like you. For your information, I supported Ribadu last presidential election and I like and respect him till date. It will be a mistake to ever take you seriously henceforth! Psss. For goodness sake, can you act intelligent by not resorting to insults on personalities? Can't you disagree without being disrespectful and uncouth? |
I seriously don't know why ACN supporters, eko ile, eggheader et al, defend the same things they crucify opposition for. It makes you guys sound like paid stooges. I don't think PDP is doing enough but common, I live in Lagos and know Lagos pretty well, what the op is saying is true. Lagos has some of the worse roads/areas in Nigeria. That is not to say Fashola hasn't done some roads. I may be wrong but I think 80% of Lagos roads are terrible. We are not talking about major roads. I drove through the streets of Oshodi this morning after the rain and it was really bad. Same thing in some other areas. So, stop defending the obvious, you make it more difficult for yourselves. |
fadeofresh: Thanks to all those yapping that they've downloaded 50 GB posting images and so on, now MTN has blocked the DNS for MTN BIS on pc, mine stopped working this morning. allow those who are willing to take the risk and see if it actually works do so. Na Lie ... you most come online and post images of you downloading 50 Gig ... Una no fit code unaself and just maintain... Now it has been blocked Well Done!Learner!!! As i type this, I'm downloading a movie over 1.2GB. Go through my previous posts to see how its setup. |
xxyz17: Please any link to watch it online?http://www.2siteweb.com/live.php?streaming=Bayern-Barca#c |
delvinmaya: Mr techguy, or whatever you call yourself. Even with pd proxy and all, you still won't download up to 3GB with MTN BIS, and dats a fact for you. Been using MTN BIS for long now, and if you read my post at all, you would see the time frame. Within the last two weeks, that's what I said. And I am using it with my N3 here, not even with my BB, so I know what I am saying.I never said its unlimited, please go back to my posts. I'm only saying i do a lot and download a lot so i dont know what you are talking about bruv. |
pakoto: Even if mtn reduces BBC to 200naira I won't be caught using them for my BIS, MTN works fast only towards the end of the subscription , as soon as u pay give it 3days and it goes comatose till 3days to the end of the subscriptionWho is this? When did you return to planet Earth. How can you say this in page 6? People have done 50GB and you are here talking shyte. I have used their BBC for a long time now on all my devices and and PC, and you are here spewing this. No body is forcing you to use it. Keep whining while we are surfing! ![]() |
Does the MTN BIS service works on an ipad?
Tested on Iphone, should work in Ipad |
areee: Techyguy, I'm impressed by the way you follow up on learners like us.Phone number nah, you can PM me. But there's nothing really to it. For Windows phone, I can't really remember the steps except when I'm with a device, but its similar to the steps i gave for android devices |
femi9naija: It's cos of ppl like u network providers always put limits on subscription. It's cos of ppl like u network providers will never make data cheap. SMHBruv cool down. If they block it let them do so, but let as many as can enjoy it do so before then. By the way, If someone did not leak it, how would you and I have known? |
Dr henry saint: is now working broGood, enjoy!!! |
chuksmad: Can u use any network modem or must it be mtn modem? If you mean on your PC, yes. As long as it can work with MTN line (unlocked). Check my previous post on using it on pc. This config step is for android devices |
delvinmaya: Pls don't mind those screaming its unlimited. Its a big farce. Subscribed BBC two weeks ago, and now I can only ping or browse when I have call credit on my line. Called the mofos at MTN and they told me I have exhausted my MB. They told me its now 350MB for BBCMONTHLY. So I called them just now, and its still 350mb for 1k, and 1gb for 1500k(dats d BISMONTHLY). The only way you can get unlimited is buy the unlimited simSome of you will never agree even if MTN CEO tell you. I have downloaded a full season 1 of a popular series (1.5Gb) and stream live matches several times, download applications for my PC etc etc etc etc. And you are here arguing. OK. Your own is 350MB, mine is not. Are you ok now? |
toluxa1: Finally u guys have turned here to FBT Tutorial center. The stuffs will definitely be blocked soon. It's not like MTN doesn't knw about this twicks, but when they discovered it's too publicised, hence affecting network performance, they block it, that has been the routine for many years. You should contact users privately for settings of dis nature.I don't think it will be pal. MTN have had these "deliberate" loopholes from the days of Nokia N series symbian phones. I feel they deliberately leave these loopholes. They have used it to gather a large customer base. I'm telling you. |
cherished: hello house. do i have to remove my sim from my tab into a bb b4 i suscribe or i just do it on the android.?If your tab can send sms, there's no need. Just text BBC(or d code of your choice plan) to 21600 |
ebdib: What website do you stream epl games from?cricfree.tv |
Geniusvic: What about port, aunthentification type and others; should they be left d way they areI would say yes because i didn't touch mine. Port however does not count if you didn't setup proxy |
Piponomics: Galaxy Note 2Settings more Mobile Network Access point names New apn Name: Anything APN: blackberry.net Username: leave blank Password: leave blank Proxy: leave blank every other thing leave alone press "back" button to save. Don't forget to select the APN you created as default. Start surfing!!! NOTE: THIS SHOULD BE THE SAME FOR ALL ANDROID DEVICES |

adouble u: @mogten, just to be sure, was it BIS(#1500) or BBC(#1000) u subscribed for? And how do I use anyone of these on my BB curve 3 to browse on my laptop? What are the settings?Read my previous comments and that of others, we have answered that here. Enjoy!! |
warrenweste: Pls how do I go abt it?? Thanksread my previous posts or let me know the device, maybe i can help |
Geniusvic: Choi!! And it's unlimited right??I can't say but I know i download some gigabytes every month ![]() I stream all my EPL and Europe matches. And download my series movies If that's what you mean by unlimited, then it is. |

Geniusvic: Wow!ThanksAs i dey talk to u so, na wetin i dey use ![]() |
ab1x: It can be used on PC with the aid of PD-Proxy. That is what I used to surf the internet.Bros, you don't need any damn proxy! Just create a new profile on your modem, call it whatever like MTNBB, enter *99# as dialing code, blackberry.net as APN, username, password and IP, leave blank. Save as default. Connect and you are good to go! I have even used my BB desktop manager. Click on mobile internet settings, change the APN to blackberry.net, username, password leave blank, save and connect. That's all (in the voice of NSCDC commandant) |
Geniusvic: Do u know anyone dat dis setting works for?? I want to switch to BBC; airtel is really slow in my area.Is that not what i said earlier? I have successfully configured Nokia Lumia 800(windows phone), Iphone 4s, Galaxy tab, HTC desire, Galaxy S2, Chinco android, etc to use MTN BBC |
Donvic4u: Even ma generator is powered by mtn BBCI dey tell you, you funny die! ![]() |
Geniusvic: How does it work on android devicesget to the APN settings, change it to blackberry.net, username, password and IP should be blank |
CyberG: Their prime minister is not a retardeen, clueless like your Jonathan Goatluck. The people do not need to lick the ass of any politician or retardeen to feed themselves and guarantee a good life like you do in Nigeria. There are no 40 lapdogs like insincere9jarian, goodex and looneys like you to spin every goof of the prime minister like you do in Nigeria. There is power 24X7 to charge the phones and watch cable tv to know what is going on, free newspapers, a reliable police force not like the ones in which BH has penetrated including the prime ministerial cabinet like that of your retardeen in Nigeria. The list is endless but when you foo.lish Nigerians stop defending and promoting uselessly poor leadership, you can think of comparing yourselves to Ghana not Canada. Them they try for that part of the world...You are pathetic!!! A trademark of the opposition. Agbero like you. If you are the kind of people we have in the opposition, then we are doomed in Nigeria! We are talking about how the problem in the north can be forestalled and you are playing politics with it! In America and other developed countries, when issues like this arise, everybody forgets their political party affiliation!!! But in Nigeria, the criminals in ACN/CPC would cash in on it! Can't you see you guys are worse than the PDP you condemn?! |
Hackomania: Techguy, what's the handle of the rep that assisted you pls share for the info of others. Thankstweet @MTN180, they will respond. Why I prefer it to calling 180 is that they actually own up to your complaint and follow through till it's done. Unlike calling 180, after the call, if you call agiain, it will be another person and its back to status quo. |
farem: I use glo and mtn as my main lines. I got this glo line in 2006, the mtn in 2009, I can categorically tell you that, MTN is better. For how many weeks now, its being hell trying to call from glo. That's not even the reason, glo customer care is just horrible, bunch of people who can't do nothing. Glo doesn't compensate, so if you loose you credit in glo, forget it!MTN has been good for me, that's what I use on my tab, PC and call with glo as the side kick. Forget about etisalat and airtel, their lines are now in my drawer. "I receive 5mb for just N5 (that goes for N50 in mtn)." you are absolutely wrong here. MTN has the 5MB for N5 too, its for Pulse subscribers though. Concerning calls, try MTN Supersaver, that's what I use, its hell cheap, N6/min. For international, I think its N10/min. Yes the number portability thningy is good but any real techy fellow knows that you should keep all lines in all networks, they may come in handy! |
