in the words of Idiami " I can guarantee you freedom of speech, but freedom after speech, I can not''. That is d situation in Nigeria now. So sad! |
Emeskhalifa:I am currently in Ijebu Ode (Ogun State) and I have secured 3 fantastic jobs (including 2 MNCs) through NL. So, keep believing in God and waste less time blaming or criticising others. ur time will surely come. |
In Idiami's voice: I can guarantee u freedom of speech but can't guarantee u freedom after speech. |
oloriooko:Vote by your foot! Chikena. |
There are a whole lots of them in our society. One pastor relation of my wife once told her that she should not marry me because he saw it in his prayers that our marriage would not last more than two years. I knew it was because he did not want her to get married to me because I am a Muslim while she is a Christian.it's been over four years now with two lovely kids. |
slimfit1:I haven't seen a portion of the constitution which stipulates that a convoy should not be overtaken. We are all Nigerians and as such should enjoy equal rights and privileges. when a convoy is moving at a speed u consider too slow for u to follow, I do not see any reason why u should not overtake them and go ur own way. |
The situation seems to be completely out of their control. |
I think it is a matter of priority. If owing a house is one's priority, other things can wait while you are putting up the house. To some people, giving the best of education to their kids is a priority, to others, setting up a formidable business empire is top on their priority. To others still, enjoying life to the fullest or even attaining a Phd is a life target. So, its different strokes for different folks. |
The Senate as it is today lacks every moral standing to invite any Nigerian for questioning let alone ordering anybody's arrest. chukwudi44: |

Repaired a phone's screen for 75k? what da heck! |
This sango otta community is fast becoming another criminal Haven just like ijebu. Lord have mercy. |
Sunofgod:Your case is that of intellectual bankruptcy. The Oonirisa is more than just an ordinary mortal. If President Obama enters that palace today, he must bow to that man u referred to as a small boy. Get that? |
Can't u just use your head for once? People like u have been badly blindfolded by these bourgeoisie MOGs that u prefer to be instructed rather than using your own head. tonybosses: |
stevnwigw:Faculties of Agric and Science in UI each has more than this figure. |
Armstrong34:Sit down there and continue grumbling. 30% of my class mates (ui economics 2008) are in top universities across the globe doing their PhD while another 20% (including my humble self) are with different MNCs here in Nigeria and other parts of the world. |
johhnnie:1million likes for u.u didn't mention the likes of professor Gbadegesin, Aweto,Mama Olajumoke etc. In economics, we have the likes of professors Iwayemi,Olofin, Oyejide, Soyibo, Ibi Ajayi, Egwaikide,Ekpeyong, Kayode etc.you just can't beat UI to it! |
As at the year 2008,the department of geography in UI had 11 professors including 2 professors emeritus while my own department (Economics) had 12. |
godoluwa:I just bought at 160/litre @ a filling station at Oki b/stop along Iwo road this afternoon. |
S247:Tax is supposed to be Paid at any point a value is created or added. When a member pays his tithe to his church, and the church in turn executes a project with the tithes of all members, value has been created and as such tax should be paid. The churches use PASs to generate noise pollution thereby causing harm to residents. The residents in turn deserve CSRs from the churches. |
Like she did when she held sway under OBJ and GEJ? PiccoloBrunelli: |
I am yet to see Amaechi and the over 400 soldiers in the picture. |
The same Nigerian police that could not arrest Esse's abductors until Emir's consent was given is now flexing muscles with a man who married a 28years old qualified medical doctor just because somebody paid for it.Are they now kidnappers or hired assassins? |
While I am not holding forth for the security men nor supporting their action,I think there are protocols for covering events like this where u have a large presence of VIPs.Journalists are accredited before the D day and are given special tags.any one not so accredited is not allowed into the venue for security reasons. If such a journalist tries to force his way into the venue, it is the duty of the security men to prevent him by all means possible. |
Does the school not have fence and Gates? If Fulani herdsmen and their cattles could have unhindered access to the school, what of armed robbers, kidnappers, rapists and ritualists. A whole federal institution that lacks a basic facility such as security is not worth its salt. Imagine ABUAD, a private university just opposite the school is watertight in terms of security. The Federal ministry of Education, over to u. |
Since 2005? 11 solid years after!justice delayed is justice denied. |
I think the world "qualities" means "good attributes" |
Drivers of police vans are always impatient on the road. They are almost always the cause of any accident involving them and others with the way and manner they drive. They often face on-coming vehicles on a one-way road and expect the one with the right of way to veer off the road or park aside for them. This I am pretty sure is the cause of this accident. Some people just met their Waterloo here. |
All the vehicles bought for the office of the president of the senate are for the senate president whether for him,his aides or his security details. The police,DSS and all security agencies do have their own budgets.U can not come here and bamboozle us.U are a greedy and heartless lot. Shikena!!! |

This is why it was possible for a civil servant to give N600 million in tithe to a Church in Abuja without the Church authorities probing the source of the money. |
