With religious institutions now competing with Multinational corporations in terms of d number of countries/continents they open branches but refused to allow govts to audit their accounts and pay tax, only a complete fool will still believe whatever miracle seen or heard in any church nowadays be it Bonke or TBJ or whoever. My money will rather go to IDPs camps, widows, orphans and the less privileged in the society than go into the pockets of these bourgeoisies called men of god. |
colebrent:atd current exchange rate of $1-#325 it is N16.25m. |
An Abuja based senator who has lost touch with realities in his home state talking sentimentally so as to be seen by his people as showing concern for their wellbeing. |
People are always in a hurry and often not ready to stay on a queue. This is why many of them fall for this kind of scam. |
It is quite disgusting how lazy bloggers have invaded nairaland. Everyone creating a new thread on the same vacancy that appeared about a week ago with each one directing people to his blog site. Can't people just prepare their own food instead of feasting on a ready made food?Na so u will see somebody saying 50years of bad luck for anyone who refuses to type amen or r.I.p on Facebook. Haba!!! Na by force? |
See 21st century ladies dropping their phone numbers without knowing the company/the product and the nature of the job. Lord have mercy. |
ozoigbondu:I just don't know which planet you guys are from. The police is free to use any strategy they deem suitable in any circumstance as long as it guarantees result. The victim was freed when the kidnapper knew that his wife was in police custody. A local problem only requires a local solution. |
Dronedude:This man was a governor of a state, a senator and he is a doctor. |
Old soldier never dies.even at 80+,baba Iyabo is still strong. To all who think PMB is too old to govern, u see urselves now? |
Tkester2:Dumbest! |
godfirstawe:Believe this at your own peril.I work and live in ijebu ode, while my work makes me travel to major cities in the state. Most of the projects mentioned started over 3years ago and have been abandoned for more than 2 years. Work only started again on them about 3 weeks ago obviously because of the 40th anniversary of the state creation. U can be sure this is window dressing and the projects will only be rushed to meet the deadline without regard for quality job. |
(dum vivimus, vivamus, dulce est pro patria mori) are not found in any known english dictionary. zendy: |
Believe this and u can believe anything. geogino: |
Thanks my great people, I have learned a lot from ur posts and will take advice given both from experienced and medical gurus. Once again, thanks a million. |
Hello Nairalanders,my wife and I have been having unprotected sex since our baby was 3 months old. I want to know the implications of this on the baby and/or the mother. Matured advice needed from experienced N/landers. |
where is buhari in d pictures? brunofarad: |
why must u always politicise everything? A contraband is a contraband irrespective of who is carrying it. Are u saying they should have allowed them to go scot-free just because it is a igbo man business? There are infant companies struggling to survive in Aba and these sons of a bitch are importing the same stuff into the country. Tomorrow, u will be shouting unemployment, not knowing that it is largely caused by the actions of these greedy lots who throw away the jobs to Chinese and Lebanese. hammerT: |
princemillla:They were granted bail on some charges and re-arrested on other charges. Simple!! |
These foreign media and their Nigerian collaborators need to be reminded that local Issues only need local solutions. PMB knows what Nigerians can do. If DSP could jump bail in far away UK, we don't need any prophet to tell us these criminals will jump bail once released.$2.2bn is a lot of money and it contibuted a great deal to the current financial mess the country is into. The judiciary has long been compromised. This is a country where petty thiefs are sentenced to life imprisonment without an option of fine and one who stole trillions is just told to pay N200 million and set free. We can not continue like this. U don't keep doing something the same way and expect a different result. They need to be adequately punished to serve as a lesson to other looters and criminals in the country. |
That one of his (Davido's) father's friends had slept with this girl also speaks volume of the kind of friends his father has and invariably the kind of person he too is. |
Did I just see 20 years old? You must be kidding me! |
Those scammers are not innovative at all. Imagine the same lie I was told over six years ago is still being told today. They get people's contact from those magazines produced by state chapters of NYSC and use the information to scam unsuspecting graduates who look eagerly to any available job post - NYSC. Anyways, anyone that falls for this kind of scam is a learner. |
UI competes with no university in Naija, cos we are in a class of our own.Proudly Uite! |
I have chosen not to comment on the purported interview until prof Sagay comes out to either deny or admit saying those things during his interview. |
hoebamaa:if u don't like a marketing job, please, don't waste your time attending the test/interview. I wrote a test about three years ago at that same venue and was interviewed about a week later. I was offered the a marketing job with a monthly deposit target of N6 million and N25,000.00 salary. I just blamed myself for attending the interview cos I travelled twice from Ibadan to the venue. |
it is always good to make yourself indispensable in the organization by making use of your full potential and excelling in everything you do. by this way, you are most likely to be untouchable because I believe the work is still not going to be carried out by computers and machines alone but by human beings.however, if the unexpected happens, it all depends on how you see yourself, dust ur CV and move on. just make sure you are not idle.find something doing (e.g teaching-even if for free, petty trading or even joining some NGOs for community service) that way, u will not have to lie to cover up for gaps in ur employment history. |
chocolateme:From the video posted, he was not beaten at all, he was only man handled for his refusal to heed police orders to enter into the van. |
[quote author=912 post=40941702]Why is it that Muslims are always involved in every issue of religious violence in this world? I'm not sure Islam is really a religion of peace as they claim because no other religion has caused the death of so many people in this world. As a matter of fact the religion claims more lives in a year than any tsunami ever have [/quote And in your opinion, this one was caused by islam/muslims? This is d result of ignorance. You people take whatever happens to hausas as happening to muslims. Are there no muslims in yoruba land? When last did u read a story like this from yoruba muslims. Even saudi arabia and middle east muslims are more liberal than these hausas. Violence is in their culture not islam. Nof said. |
I can't see The Polytechnic, Ibadan on the list. That is the doyen of official corruption. Highest grades for the highest bidder in cash or kind. |
I know the promoters of Biafra will not take this lightly. But Nairaland is a Nigerian forum (at least naira is Nigerian currency) and any idea that negates the sanctity of the Nigerian nation should not be promoted on the forum.bravo Seun, u have shown the world again u are a true leader. |
